I could not recommend this place more! The made the entire process simple and easy. After having the whole front in of my car damaged I made an appointment with them for the assessment. The appointment was very fast. They then sent a quote and ordered the parts. Once those were received I took the vehicle back to be dropped off. Having to take the car twice was the only real inconvenience, especially if your vehicle is hard to drive with the damage. After that the repair didn t take long, was done well, and they even cleaned the car. Everyone was also super friendly. I hope I never need them again but I would definitely take it back to them with another accident.

This repair experience was the best I ve ever had. SheerMetal CARSTAR went above and beyond with the detailing inside and out. They also left a beautiful rose and a thank you card on the dash. The car sounded more quiet when I drove it home. This was hail repair, and perhaps Car Star took more care than most hail repair shops when putting car parts back together.

Hail damage paint glue was still visible at the the pull spot, had to leave the car for additional day s. Manager wanted to bring car back to for taking care of paint buffing out the glue. Now have doubts how the rest of quality of work performed. Over all great staff communication. Date and time of completion.

The SheerMetal team in Plano are the best! I picked up my 2016 Hyundai Sonata yesterday. It looks beautiful. Like it was never damaged. They finished it when they said they would and kept me updated daily. The took care of everything. I really appreciate the great service they gave me. Thank you so much!

The truck looks fantastic, absolutely no sign of the damage! I do not give a 5 star review only because the completion was delayed by about a month. I realize that parts availability is a hurdle this day and age therefore, I can understand the delay. It was nevertheless, inconvenient. I however, would never take my vehicle to anyone else. Thank you for the extraordinary job on my truck!

They were extremely professional and courteous the entire time. I was informed almost daily by text of status & timelines so well that the only time I had to call was to set up a time for pick up. When I picked up my truck it looked perfect & they even washed it inside out better than most car washes. If needed I wouldn't hesitate going back. Thanks!

CarStar did a great job repairing extensive hail damage to my SUV. It looks like a brand new vehicle! And they were really good at keeping me posted on the progress. Highly recommend them!

Had my vehicle for 4 months to replace a bumper and rear frame. Excuse being part delays ... after sending multiple text updates and part already being received. When finally picked up. Everything from the compartments (proof of insurance , owners manual) throw carelessly in the back, child car seat flung in the back, my SAFE that was locked was emptied and thrown in the back. Absolutely the worst... never again. Warranty or not ill be going else where. Not to mention the estimate was 6.5 Times more than the original estimate at 3.5k to 20k 7.2k of that was labor.

Excellent work, efficient service - they washed/cleaned my car before delivery and sent a "Thank You" note! Very classy customer service (can you say that about a Body Shop?) I've referred them to friends.

SheerMetal was great. I had to reschedule a couple if times due ti mechanical problems with my truck, but whe I finally got it to them, they were very professional, friendly, and kept me posted on the progress. I would defjnately us them again.

I couldn't be happier with the quality of service and work I got done from SheerMetal. Rick and his team went far beyond my expectations. I felt like they all kept me in the loop on what was going on with my vehicle which I appreciated. The customer service I got from the moment I walked in the door til the moment I drove off the lot was top notch. I have NEVER been to a repair shop or any car shop where I genuinely felt like they cared and that I wasn't just another face dropping off a car for work. The cherry on top was the rose and thank you note left in my passenger seat. What a great way to put a smile on a customer's face! I am VERY pleased with how my car turned out as well!!! I HIGHLY recommend SheerMetal Carstar!!

Great experience with the shop people. They worked around my drop off schedule and even helped get a rental pick up. Fixing hail damage took way longer than anticipated, between waiting on the insurance to approve my supplemental and then parts and paint. But when I finally got to pick up my car, she was beautiful! And to my surprise they handled my rental return so I didn t have to coordinate a ride back.I loved that they kept in contact through text updates to let me know what stage my car was in or what they were waiting on. Great communication. Would definitely recommend them in the future.

BEST AUTO BODY SHOP IN TOWN!!! Love this place from the customer service to the detail work. Easy transition process with the insurance company. How about a rose to appreciate your business with them 5 stars wouldn t be enough to describe how good of a business this place can provide.

My Jeep was rear-ended in December 2016. After an unsatisfactory initial experience at another shop, I took it to SheerMetal CARSTAR. Veronica, Karla, Ahmad and team were welcoming, courteous and responsive to me the moment I walked in the door. Ahmad walked right out to my vehicle and carefully worked through damage assessment with me, then provided an estimate while I waited in about 15 minutes (last shop took 1.5 weeks just to look at my vehicle, then nearly 2 weeks to provide an inferior estimate). Ignoring the one week delay for the insurance company to approve supplemental estimates, SheerMetal took my vehicle in as soon as I was ready, took about two days to tear down the vehicle, and about 4 days to repair, paint, replace parts and build it back up. They returned my vehicle to basically new condition, all seams aligned, perfect paint match (color, metal-flake and clearcoat). During the repair process they kept me updated with regular emails and calls. Best car service experience I've ever had. They even took care of turning in the rental car for me. They warranty their work for five years. If courtesy, quality repairs, and quick turnaround are important to you, this is without question the place to go. Since this was an insurance repair on the other driver's insurance I really can't address how competitive their prices are, but they seemed reasonable for the work performed.

Absolutely amazing customer care! Rick and his team make sure that everything is smooth from start to finish. I had someone, who didn't even have a license, back into me and their insurance company kept giving me the run-around. Rick made sure to keep contact with me if they ever called about my vehicle and was always incredibly helpful!The work they did on my car was great! I had to get my entire driver's side passenger door replaced. The paint job matched seamlessly and it looked like the incident had never happened.To the team at CarStar, you guys really care about your customers and it truly shows. I'll definitely be recommending you to all my friends and family.Update 8/8/2019 5 Stars!!!Unfortunately, Google won't allow me to post another review but I felt I needed to at least let people know how amazing this business is. My car sideswiped a garage column due to a negligent, on-coming driver and I needed to have my entire passenger side redone from door to bumper. Rick and his team are excellent at what they do. They're honest and communicate everything that's going on with your vehicle from start to finish. They make you feel at ease about the entire process and they make sure all the work they do is the highest quality. I will never take my vehicle anywhere else!Update 2 2/27/2024Got rear ended and came back to my tried and true shop. Everyone here is absolutely amazing and they're so good at making sure you know what's going on and taken care of. With my car luck I'll be back in another 5 years and they'll be just as great, I guarantee it.

I am so grateful to Carstar! They did a beautiful job fixing my car after an accident and made the whole experience very seamless. They worked directly with the insurance and the rental car service so there was less extra work on me. My favorite part of their service was the automated text messages they send you to keep you updated on the progress of your car!

Rick Bensema and team are awesome! My car was hit by a blown out tire coming off a semi on the highway and I wasn t able to find the driver to get his insurance info. Since my insurance deductible was $1000 I opted to find a place that might be able to do the repair for the amount or less. They were able to accommodate me and ordered the part in advance so I wouldn t be out of my car as long. They finished the repair QUICKLY and BEAUTIFULLY! Perfect paint match and the car was spotless inside and out. Regretting not having them do the body work from a previous accident last year where the shop left bubbles, overspray and mismatched paint and it took them over a month to do what Carstar Sheermetal would have likely done in under a week. Will not be taking my car anywhere else in the future, even if insurance tries to set it up!!! Thank you Carstar Sheermetal! Services: Painting, Body & Trim

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL they do not hear your questions give you LOWES ESTIMATE to repair your vehicule Then give you date to take Vehicule in and to tell you they CANNOT REPAIR SO HELP ME UNDERSTAND WHY WOULD YOU GIVE ESTIMATE IF YOU CANNOT REPAIR MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL TO give a ESTIMATE AND SPEAK ON SOMETHING THEY KNEW WHERE NOT GOING TO DO SO YEA IF THEY COULD GET A NEGATIVE I WOULD GIVE THEM A 100 NEGATIVE BECAUSE THEY WASTED MY TIME AND JUST SCREWED OVER MY ACCIDENT SITUATION AND DID NOT EVEN GET ANYTHING DONE AND THERE COMMUNICATION PIECE SUCKS THEY WORK TO BENEFIT THE INSURANCES THEY DONT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS SO YEA THATS THAT

This place is wonderful. Veronica is so nice and understanding. We had to wait because a part was on back order, and it took forever. Veronica made sure I was undated and sincerely apologized even though it wasn't her fault. They were able to fix the part, so we didn't have to wait any. I will always recommend this place as well as use it again. Thanks
