I went there to get brake pads replaced, and I noticed that they replaced it very quickly and they were done within 30 mins. But they didn't bring the car down and I kept asking them to bring it down and they said it will be brought down soon. They made me sit there for 2 hours to just bring it down.

Khalid and Ali, and all the People work there have been doing a really good job on all my vehicles. I referred my friends. I have Exotic vehicles and a lot of my friends have the same type vehicle. They have several master mechanics with the right equipment to perform on exotic cars. Save yourself a lot of money.

The service here was amazing! Bouba and the other guys saved the day. Not only did they fix my car at a fair price, they emphasized the importance of my safety.This team went above and beyond with the oil change, engine flush, changing the filters and cleaning up the disaster that happened previously.I ll definitely be back and I 100% recommend this location to anyone. So thankful for the team at Kwik Kar! While driving to work this morning several alarming lights came on. I pulled into the Kwik Kar and explained what had happened and they said it could just be the sensors acting up on this rainy day, but they would run the codes for me to find out. They were able to tell me which codes my car was throwing and since it was the transmission that needed work, they suggested a transmission place that would be able to rebuild it instead of just replacing it. They also didn t charge me anything for the help. Thank you for making my stressful day a little bit better!

Alright, so I came for oil change, and only for oil change. I was waiting in the lobby room and they suddenly called me out and showed me my air filter and cabin filter. They pulled out both without my permission and tried to sell me more services. I refused and they left dirty marks on my drawer which took me quite some time to wipe off. This service is worse than I ever experienced and I also don't like people opening my drawer without my permission cuz I usually keep important stuff in that passenger drawer. Never coming back again for sure.

Iam fortunate to find Kwikkar for my auto repair.Bouba the trustful manager helped me with the fix. Got Engine check on dashboard ,Bouba and his team were quickly to action and helped with diagnosis and fix. Promptly advised on time for fix and delivered accordingly.Place is clean and conveniently located on Independence. Higly recommend

Hi everyone, I had a nail in one tire , I had experienced at other location kwik kar in Plano before,and they did free for me but in this location they charged me $15.99 yesterday, I am confused that why two kwik kar within less than 5 miles distance have different policy !

Brought my G37 in for an oil change and other fluid services , etc. Yusuf, James and the rest of the team did a fantastic job overall!Right from the beginning Yusuf was attentive to details and cognizant about my concerns on the cost side since my previous repair place was always expensive and the quality was not there. He advised me to have all the work done which they would complete by the afternoon and provided me with a loaner vehicle.Yusuf quoted me a reasonable price and they proceeded with the repairs.When it turned out that there was an additional repair required he did not back down on price! Excellent work, great value and professionalism. I will definitely be back for further future repairs. I highly this Kwik Kar location at 6916 Independence Parkway in Plano.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

Groupon Nightmare at Kwik Kar Lube & Tune, Independence Parkway #1405, Plano, TX: BUYER BEWARE!"I recently had the unfortunate experience of getting an oil change at the nearest Kwik Kar Lube & Tune, Independence Parkway #1405, Plano, TX, and it was nothing short of a disaster.I believe mechanic was Mahommad (African person), DON'T TRUST HIS WORKS and SERVICES, CHEATER AND THEIF.From start to finish, the entire process was marred by incompetence and what I can only describe as blatant attempts to cheat me even though I purchased Groupon coupon at this Kwik Kar Lube & Tune, Independence Parkway #1405, Plano, TX location, after arriving here they said Engine flush is needed even though it is very good condition, added two more choices on their own like coolant fluid flush and engine oil flush.When I questioned the staff about the unexpected charges, they offered vague and unsatisfactory explanations, leaving me feeling cheated and taken advantage of. It's disconcerting when a company resorts to deceptive practices, especially when customers are expecting a straightforward and honest transaction, especially when using a coupon.The lack of integrity in their business practices and the substandard service make Kwik Kar a place to avoid at all costs. Save your money, time, and peace of mind by seeking an honest and reputable auto service elsewhere.This is HORRIBLE customer service.

Terrible experience. They saw me coming and took full advantage and performed service I didn't need. Over $110.00 over what I asked for. All I asked for was an oil change and inspection. I will NEVER use them again and I will tell everyone I come in contact with NOT to ever go here.They give HONEST mechanics a bad name.

Not Fake. This is ACTUALLY real and so good. I don t care what any other review says. These guys saved my day. I got a flat on my way home and needed to drive pretty far down South the next day for work, and it was getting late, these guys were closing in a 5 minutes so I hauled my car over hoping they d be able to do something.Yusuf came over and saw my tire and how ridiculously torn up it was and asked if I had a spare, and thankfully I did. 10 min in and out they took care of it, and I was so thankful, I could ve paid anything for it to get done. But wouldn t even let me pay and just it s on them.It s so hard to find such kind hospitality in this field of work and I was lucky to experience it this time.Folks, keep coming to this location. The team is incredibly kind and is quick and efficient and really do help folks in need.5 Stars Easy (Wish they had 6) In Team Yusuf, I ll come here every time and I hope others will too

I went in for a last min oil change. People were nice, showed me the computer screen they could walk me thru oil options & prices. I was able to get in & out with-in 45 mins. Prices for Oil change are comparable with other places. Cleaned the corrosion on my battery They mentioned and showed me a serious tire issue I had, which I was very grateful, but the cost to replace was double where I ended up taking my car too. Also I had to pull my own car in and out of the mechanic bay which I've never had to do before so not sure if that's the SOP there.Services: Battery, Oil change

Stopped by on a whim to see if they would install an aftermarket headlight assembly for my 2004 Lexus GX470. We had already purchased the part and just needed them to do the labor. One of their techs Ryan was nice enough to drop what he was doing and come take a look at my car and give me a rough verbal estimate. They were able to get me in first thing the next morning and had my vehicle done same day. I thought the final bill was reasonable and the quality of work was good especially considering they had to drop the bumper down to attach a few clips for the assembly. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because when I came to pick up, the employee in the office was chowing down on a sandwich and couldn't be bothered to break away and check us out. Instead he waived us on to another employee who was in the shop in the middle of an oil change, so we had to wait for him to come to a stopping point. Also, the waiting area and checkout smell very strongly of cigarette smoke. All in all, I guess you get what you pay for! The dealership would have charged twice to three times as much!Services: Electrical, Body & Trim

I stopped at this place today as the sign of low oil came on while I was driving around this area . First time trying their service. I talked to abu baker who offered me two oil prices one for 6k miles and other one for 4K miles. I was also told that the transmission oil is old and needs to be changed. Special thanks to abu baker who did all the work for my car and he also had to clean the transmission twice as it was very dirty. Abu baker also added coolant to my car as it was low. Also spoke with Ali who was very friendly and helpful. They provided a discount for the service which is nice. I would definitely come back to this place for future services even though this place considers far away from where I live. Peace be upon you!

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!I found a groupon at for front and rear brake pad replacement at this kwik kar location. I called to make sure they had the parts for my car before I brought the groupon and the guy said don t buy the groupon, we ll match the price and we do have the parts available. I went and waited an hour to get service and an hour for the service. My total with the match price plus tax was $190 it s been less than 30 days and my brakes have been squeaking and sounds like grinding. I called them and said I got my breaks done two weeks ago and now they are worse than when brought my car into you guys. The guy immediately responded by saying, if you brought a groupon there is no warranty so we can t help you. He didn t ask for ny name or anything I told him that I never brought the groupon, but they did match the price. He said that s the same thing.I got off the phone with him and went to another mechanic shop for them to check my brakes an low and behold, I was told my front and back brakes needs to be changed immediately and I need my back rotors changed now. Smh!These guys took my money and did absolutely no work.Service: Brakes

Update: Kwik Kar reimbursed me for the cost of having my car repaired. Pleased to see they stand by their work. Edit: the issue was that they swapped the radiator fill caps (there are two). One is labeled to NOT put on the reservoir and they did, which causes fluid to spray out when it got really hot, and then air got into the system and it would empty most of the fluid. This caused the engine to rapidly overheat and ruin the thermostat. Repairing the damage to my car cost $1200.Before last week I could let my car idle in 105 degree weather with the AC cranked for up to an hour with no issue. They did a coolant flush and now after 45 minutes in the same situation it dumps coolant everywhere and the car won t run until I refill it. I took it back twice for them to look at, both times they claim there was air in the system they needed to bleed off and give it back only for it to happen again. When they tested it the temp was lower and the AC was turned down.

The technicians are always very courteous and I never have to wait for service even without an appointment. I find them to be very honest and they never try to upsell or replace a part not needed. My battery light was on plus my service/oil change past due and I was unable to get into the dealership for two weeks. I was provided with excellent service and my vehicle taken care of. What I really appreciate is how the guys here are always willing to explain to me the things my car needs and for what reason, they also never make me feel dumb for not understanding. They always give some kind of small discount and I've just overall been very happy with the service my car gets coming here. The best auto care shop I have Ever used for the past five years. They are very honest and do very detailed and professional diagnosis and fix the problem.They replaced my struts and control arms on my Lexus at very reasonable price, the car RX 350, drives like new after the repair.When I had hail damage, I took my MAZDA CX-5 to this Kwik car shop, and Yusuf put a plastic cover on my sunroof, free of charge to prevent additional damage. on 11th July at 5pm i took my camry for a state inspection. The mechanic came back with a very dirty cabin air filter and said the car passed the inspection, but the filter needs replaced. I told him i had a few cabin air filters at home and i replace them frequently and so i didn't need one. He said this is not the one which is behind the glovebox and that this is a different one (i accept i am ignorant about car parts and it made sense because i didn't expect my cabin filter to be that bad), so i asked him to replace it. I was charged $50 for pasts and labor.I went home and wanted to replace the cabin air filter and i see a brand new one already there. Feeling cheated i went back to the store and they made a refund. I was ok with what happened till here. They tried to sell me something i didn't need and lied, but its not a big deal.However, the mechanic sprayed some oil on the old filter (possible spat in to it - see picture), put it upside down and turned the heat on (outside temp was more than 95F). Now the car smells of oil and i hope it goes away quickly. This retaliation for getting caught cheating is what is unacceptable and i hope the management will reprimand this guy so it does not happen to others. One interesting thing was, all the leaves and dust i saw on the filter originally shown to me were not present on the filter i last removed, so i guess that the store keeps a dirty filter to get customers to replace their decent ones (this cant happen without management knowledge).

We took our 2011 Lexis in for an oil change after having been quoted a much price at a local Firestone store we had used for years. Not only did Yusef get us fixed up right away, we saved a considerable sum of money. He was friendly, helpful and very efficient! Very knowledgeable, easy to work with, honest, detail oriented. Needed new brakes and when I went in they told me I needed new rotors. Before they did anything they took me to my car, showed me exactly what my rotors looked like and then discussed and negotiated a price with me. My bf was paying so I called him and they gladly talked to him over the phone and explained to him what was going on. After they took me back outside and had me take pictures of the old and new rotors to show my bf so he knew why he was paying for rotors rather than rotors and breaks. They answered all my questions, were fast, and patient with me. Every customer in there with me was also shown what was going on with their cars before they worked on their vehicles so there wasn't any miscommunication, room for error, or unnecessary expenses. Hands down best shop I've been to in a really long time. I'm so very appreciative and will definitely be going back to them for all future maintenance or repairs. Randall is awesome. There is two more gentleman that were also fantastic there but I didn't catch there names. Make sure to stop in for their services. You won't regret it!!

My family and I are very loyal to this KwikKar location. The staff is enthusiastic and friendly, especially the manager Bouba! He is genuine and explains everything very well. Know that with Bouba, you are in good hands! He is also very generous with discounts to regulars!!! Really good guy.
