For many years I've received the very best care and service for my car at Innovative Auto! I trust the great guys there with my safety on the road and know they will give me an honest assessment of my car's mechanical status...never upselling like dealerships tried on me assuming I'm an "ignorant" woman. They are the BEST!

Went to innovative to have some rivets put in my front lip as well as the car lowered (on factory bolts). Rick got everything knocked out fast and all of the work was done perfectly. Definitely recommend!

This auto service is recommended by my church pastor. Ken is pretty reliable, honest and trustworthy. He is a true problem solver. He solved my engine light problem efficiently with a skilled mechanic This engine light problem bothered me for a long time and I tried different auto places but not get resolved. Nowadays it is hard to find a Auto place like this where sincerely help solve your problems. I am very grateful that I found Innovative and Ken. Cherish them

We had some major repairs done on a family members car a few months ago and it still driving great. So glad to have Rick, Ken and the Innovative team work on our vehicles. We have vehicles ranging from the year 2000 (yes 2000) to 2014, and Innovative helps us keep them on the road so we haven't needed to purchase new vehicles. Guys were nice here. Felt good supporting a smaller shop. Spent a few thousand dollars on general maintenance. Pulled my car off the lot and my engine light went on. Brought it back same day and they found a giant crack in my turbo. Clearly, the turbo was cracked while they were working on the car because the engine was not whistling until I pulled off the lot.Will never bring my car or my wife s car here again. I dropped my car off the day before the deep winter freeze caused power to go out across the state, and the owner Rick Palmer kept me well-informed and up-to-date on the status of my car while we waited for power to return so he could get techs in to look it over. In addition to this, once technicians were able to give it a look, Tommy also did a good job of keeping me informed on how things were going and was eager to discuss specifics regarding my car's issues. This establishment is known for being flexible and accommodating to all types of situations, and I appreciated their efforts to give me an accurate and fair experience at a rough time when I was without reliable transport. I would consider going to them again simply for the promptness and wonderful service they gave me. It also doesn't hurt that they know what they are talking about when it comes to cars.

I have been a customer at Innovative Auto works for over 20 years. They give you Dealership level service without Dealership level pricesThey have kept 4 different vehicles rolling. I have high mileage vehicles. 1 of My current vehicles has 272,000+ miles on it. They do a great job of digging in to find the problem and coming up with solutions that won't break the bankThanks Ken at Innovative for not breaking the Bank.

I was in Plano on business from Michigan. My AC died in my vehicle on the way down. It was hot and miserable. I was desperate to have someone look at it in hopes of getting it fixed. The guys at Innovative were helpful over the phone and told me to bring it in. Upon arrival I was greeted with kindness and an immediate attention to my problem. The guys were quick to come out and have a look. They had my parts in hand and started on my car within 20 minutes of being there. The waiting room was very nice and comfortable. The conversation was also good with the guys. I have never had such kind service at any auto facility, especially as an out of towner. The prices were extremely reasonable and the service is great.Highly recommend these guys!

Terrible service. I used them for a used truck I purchased and the repairs they completed were worse then me taking it in. I went in to get it fully serviced. I was referred to them, so I trusted them. I paid $1800 for incomplete repairs. After I picked up my vehicle a few days later the check engine light came on and the vehicle started shaking. I took it back and they took a 1 1/2 weeks to repair a coil and it was shaking even worse. It didn t even last 2 days. I asked just to be refunded for the mechanic which was $400 but they ignored me. I used a street mechanic to fix it for a a fraction of the cost. Do not use them they are crooks and don t care about your vehicle.Update: Why would I pay $1800 to not even have my vehicle repaired properly? I brought it in to be fully serviced. Rick only responds to negative reviews and does not communicate and ignores once he has your money. I would not bring my vehicle back a third time. I am very VERY pleased with Innovative Auto Works. My truck's engine light was on and wouldn't start. Innovative Auto replaced my alternator but the check engine light stayed on; after digging deeper, it was determined it had to do with my engine. I don't know much about cars, so it could have been easy for them to take advantage of me. But instead, Ken, the manager, told me to take it to the dealership because there was a special bulletin on that model. I did and the dealership covered it!! Innovative Auto saved me $4k!! My family and I are new life long customers!Service: Electrical repair

I can always expect professional service. I started going to them 4 months ago with an ailing, old car and they never fail to impress me with their work and professionalism. Waiting room is spotless and very welcoming. Their office manager, Ken, is the best I've seen. He is always customer oriented. Go at least once, you'll see.

I have used Innovative to keep my car in good repair for several years now.Perhaps the most illustrative anecdote I can share is from a couple of years ago. My father-in-law had just moved to Dallas and had a problem with his car. They identified the issue as being one of his tires and told him that there was another place in Plano where he could get a better deal than they could offer.Any business that is so forthright with their customers has earned my trust, and my business.

These mechanics are crooks and do not know what they are doing. Do not believe the reviews. They will over charge you and will not do everything as promised. They quoted me a price to fix everything on my vehicle and once I left the shop the check engine light came on when it wasn t before. I had a reputable mechanic look at it and he stated they put on the wrong parts and they did not do as they promised. Great service, quick and very honest. I was referred to three shops by a very good old school transmission shop and decided to try Innovated and I am now a very happy customer. They diagnosed my problem and got my car running better than it has in years. They took they time to show me the defective part before I even asked about it. Excellent service and very friendly, I will be back and sending my friends and family here.

Thank you. Tom thank you so much for all your fast diagnosis and repair. I was hit by a another vehicle and it totaled my CRV but with such low mileage I did;t want to give it up when it was just my back end. I called innovative and sent them the invoice from collision caliber and Tom said we can fix it so we bought it back so to speak and had it towed to Innovative auto. Not only did they say no problems but they repair it for more than a $1000 less than CC estimate. And it was done in two days. New axel, muffler, everything. Thanks to USAA and innovative auto My little old 2006 CRV was back on the road in less then one week. Thank you guys. Thank you Tom and thank you Ken for always being so helpful all these years. Did I mention that I Ve used IA since 1994? Great mechanics. Great staff. Great place. Thank you all.

Been going to innovative for over fifteen years and seven autos in the family. They will find the problem, will fix the problem, are honest, and have fair prices. I can send my wife there and tell her to get it fixed with no drama. Sure they will call me too, if there are options, but were i unavailable i would have zero worry they would steer her wrong.

Innovative is the best place for auto repair and maintenance I have found. Call Ken and set up an appointment for whatever your car or truck needs. Great longtime mechanics that are super qualified. I have never been disappointed.

Kenny and Rick are the best. This is a family business that treats you like family. Our family has used them for 20 plus years everything from simple matters to complete overhauls. They can do it all from a Ford to Mercedes.

I just moved to the area and I'm not sure if it was because I was a young woman or if it was because I am new to the area but the owner tried to charge me $90 (something) for a headlight bulb replacement; maybe thinking he could get away with overcharging? Normally, this is a simple $20 service. After I told him this, he took the price down to $23 since he knew what he was doing. Bummed by this experience!

These guys totally ripped me off. Brought in my Jetta for an oil leak and they charged me $400 to replace a couple of seals. When I got it back it leaked even worse than before. I brought it back to them and they told me there was a hole in the oil pan that they just now happened to notice and wanted to charge me ANOTHER $400 to replace it. Took it to another shop and had the original problem fixed right for a fraction of what they wanted to charge me. Avoid these crooks.

Ken & Rick are awesome! Take your vehicle here... you won't regret it! They've worked on our Infiniti G35 & replaced the Water Pump, Timing Belt & Air Conditioner in our 330 RX Lexus. They do exactly what they say they will do, they call you for authorization to proceed, they provide regular updates. While the car is in the service bay, they inspect the auto for those little things annoying things that need to be done saving you lots of time, money & aggravation later on. They also give you a AAA Motor Club discount! Conveniently located near I-75 & Parker behind TARGET.

The guys at Innovative Auto are great! They have been my mechanic since before I bought my present Mazda MX3 in 1995. You might say they are a real class act since my car's about to be a classic and still driving great. In the time I've known them I've thrown them a few curve balls with the types of things that have fallen out, fallen in, or fallen off my car. They've always treated me and my car like family... They shake their heads and laugh a little, but they put my humpty dumpty of a car back together and get us back on the road.
