I recently visited Discount Tire in McKinney and had the pleasure of working with Eddie, Jacob, and Nicholas. They provided exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied with my purchase. They were thoughtful and helpful in every way, even giving me boxes and upgrading my tires at an incredible price.What impressed me the most was the vast selection of tires in stock and the attention to detail in their service. They kept my car after closing to ensure the job was done correctly and on time. Their commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction was evident throughout my entire experience.The store was immaculate and had a great atmosphere. Eddie, Jacob, and Nicholas were incredibly kind and helpful, making me feel valued as a customer. I can confidently say that this is the best Discount Tire I have ever been to.Overall, I highly recommend Discount Tire in McKinney, and especially commend Eddie, Jacob, and Nicholas for their exceptional service. Great service. Got my tire changed here. Taking care of flat tire is always great.. if the tire is good and the nail is in the center, it will be fixed. Nick was ery welcoming at the reception.Will always go for a flat tire fix here and also to get new tires

I have been a customer of Discount Tire since I first started driving, and that was over 20 years ago! I cannot praise them enough for their above and beyond customer service, as well as being straightforward and honest, and not trying to make you buy something that you don't need! I will forever be a customer of Discount Tire, and will recommend them any chance I get!

Wanted to pass along a warning about this location. I stopped in on February 10 ,2024 because I so happened to be in the area to have them do a tire rotation and balance check and was told I had 3 bent rims and I needed to replace them. I found that odd since I've had a few tire rotations done in the months prior to my visit and no one EVER made mention of an issue with 1 rim much less 3. I did come in an hour before closing and maybe they wanted to make thier daily sales quota or commision goal even thought they supposedly aren't on comission. The sales man Hector ,I belive was his name tried to get me to buy $150 rims cause" they were sturdier than the ones that come with the car" I of course said no way and he said he had $75 ones that he could sell me for $50 each and waive the installation fee. The total was going to be $223 which I didnt have at the time and said no thank you but asked for a print out of what he quoted me to keep in case I changed my mind but I had a very odd feeling I was being conned so I left. Fast forward to 3/27/24 ,I made an appointment at the Discount Tire in Wylie which is closer to my home(and is actually the one I normally go to when I have issues with my tires cause they treat me good) to have them look at one of the tires with a "bent rim" cause it had a nail in it. I asked them to please check my rims to verify I needed to to get them replaced and showed them the quote Hector gave me. They said they would check them out and after they were done replacing the tire with the nail in it I asked how bad the rims were and I was told there was nothing wrong with them and all I needed was a re balancing of the tires.I asked them were they sure and the guy at the counter went back and double-checked with the guy who worked on my car and he said there was nothing wrong with the rims. I was almost conned out of $223 and when I called the store to tell them my story they said it might have been a misunderstanding or that maybe it was simply a mistake. This could have been a vey expensive" mistake"and other than apologizing profusely and being told they dont operate that way and being asked "but your cars ok now right" I didnt get a sense that something was going to be done but was told that they would use it as a teachable moment and follow up with the people involved. While I DON'T want ANYBODY to get fired I was sort of put off by the fact that the situation was being treated as a "oh it was just a mistake" instead of hey how can we make this right with you, not that I was expecting or felt I deserved anything since I didn't change the rims out or lose any money(honestly I really dont know what could have be offered to help make me feel better other than feee tires but I know that wasnt goint to happen)but the fact that nothing was even offered or suggested tells me a lot about this particular Discout Tire location. All this just to say BUYER BEWARE if you are planning to go to this location.

I want to give shout outs for Jacob and Nick for being very helpful and proactive. We had a bad experience visiting the store, after left my feedback on the survey Jacob reached out to us and promise to make things right, and that's what Nick did in the store for us. Thanks to them I would recommend this store

Folks at this location are super friendly and helpful and I really had no issues with install, though communication between staff could be a little better. I ordered and booked online and I had more than one person call me to change my appointment when the tires weren t there on time and more than one person call to confirm the appointment. This is much preferred to no calls at all, however I definitely believe that communication quality can make or break a business, so just something to work towards for the future. Install was quick and simple, everything looks good, and I m very pleased with how my new wheels and tires look. Special thanks to Zach, who was both enthusiastic and professional during the entire experience.

You d think a place that 99% of there business is tires would know what a torque stick is. Or maybe know how to use a torque wrench. Or possibly even the ugga dugga method. But sadly no finger tight is the best my girlfriend got on all 4 of her new tires. As an auto tech I d recommend my 10 year old step sister over this place. At least I m confident she can at least google torque spec.

The worst service i have ever experienced in my life. Big banana head guy tells me I don t like repeating myself to a customer! The wait was extremely long and who knows what they are doing to your car behind the scenes in that place. The warranty is a JOKE so don t waste your money. Banana head kept staring at me the entire time i was there because he knew he was wrong for speaking to a customer in that manner. To top it off they had me wait an hour JUST not to have all the inventory they said they had. If i could give negative 50 stars i would.

I decided to leave a review regarding my experience with Discount Tire. While they have a good reputation, this particular experience left me disappointed. I initially visited the branch due to a tire with a slow air leak. They patched it up, and I left the store satisfied. However, on the same day and after just a few minutes of driving, I noticed that the air pressures were uneven. The patched tire was about 4-5 psi lower than the rest of the tires.The next day, I observed that the tire pressure had dropped to 35 psi, so I returned to the store for a free air check. They inflated the patched tire to match the pressure of the others. Yet, the following day, I noticed that the air was still leaking. I returned again and explained the situation. After waiting in the lobby, I was informed that the hole in the tire was too large to be patched. I asked whether the patch applied on the first day might have potentially caused more damage, but they assured me it hadn't, although they didn't show me the tire.Reluctantly, I decided to purchase a new tire. When I checked the air pressure after the new tire was installed, it was uneven, just like on the first day. The rest of the tires measured 41 psi while the brand new tire was at 36 psi. I brought this to the attention of the employee who had helped me, as well as another employee in a black shirt and another wearing a wide-brimmed sun hat. They discussed the issue, and the employee in the black shirt told me to drive the car, and it would reset itself. I mentioned that my car is a Tesla, to which he didn't provide any further explanation.In the end, they adjusted the air pressure in the one tire, but the entire process left me very disappointed. It's concerning that they didn't check the air pressure before returning the car to me, and the tire that was initially considered patchable could no longer be patched after their work. It gives the impression of a local tire shop prioritizing profits over quality service. I don't plan to return to this branch in the future.

I purchased windshield wipers from another Discount Tire 3 weeks ago. While I was driving home in the rain, they broke & flew off my vehicle. Thankfully, this location was only 3 minutes from where this happened. They replaced the wipers at no charge & even put them on in the rain for me. Thank you Discount for your help!!

Had a very good impression of them, but lately they are pushing to purchase new tires even though there is life left. Took the dealership for a second opinion and was told not needed till next year. Highly idssapointed.

I been there today for only air check .Someone told me you have to wait for 45 minutes!!!.After 20 minutes, he came to me and told me we can t do it because we don t have anyone for it!!!.And just put some air on one tire and told me you are good to go!!!Do you really think I don t know anything about tire service Mr. SAL?!!!Awful customer service.

I have been using this store for the 7 years I have lived here in Allen. Their service is great, their tire prices are fair and the employees are all courteous.BUT, they do NOT deserve a 5 star rating. This is because (and I admit its nit-picky) I have a nice car that originally came with matching tire stem caps. I have had to buy new sets each time after they have worked on my car. The tire techs just grab any cap laying around and stick it back on the tire stem when they are through mounting a new tire or repairing a flat. C'mon guys, it's not that hard...So if you are like me, remove them before you go in for work, or you'll be forking out money just to get a new set.

I brought my newish car in for its first tire rotation. The wait was extremely long so I made an appointment to come back the next day. At every step the service was friendly and very professional. With an appointment it took less than an hour. Also there was no charge for the rotation.

I must say, this place is amazing! It s the fourth time we have used their services in the past few years, and each experience has been incredible. They never attempted to sell us new tires or anything of the sort. They have always been polite and respectful. This morning, we needed a tire change after a large nail punctured it, and we were certain we would have to purchase a new tire. They quoted $250 for a new one, so we left the car there. After about 2 hours, they texted us that the car was ready. When we arrived to pick it up and pay, the guy simply said, It s alright, we fixed the tire for free. They didn t even charge us for the repair. They could have easily sold us a new tire as previously agreed, but they chose not to. I highly recommend them!

Had to wait 10-15 minutes just to drop of my keys for an appt.Also had an issue with the status that my car was left in. The trunk had items shiver in the corner and the floor board was t put back together.I did have 2 tires replaced which they were very efficient at doing.

I had another great experience with this shop yesterday. The whole team was good to work with, especially Jake and Ranson. It was the largest purchase I have ever made from Discount Tire, both wheels and tires. Even on a hot Friday afternoon, the team was professional and on target.

Pulled in for air and he wouldn t give me air because it was a safety hazard. Said it was too dangerous since a large truck was in front of me. So I drove out the same way I droveIn. Hey, I made it!! Close call, but no air!!

This Discount Tire location is one of the best locations in DFW. Although they are one of the busiest, they really work hard to get vehicles in and out as quickly as possible. They really go the extra mile to ensure your tires are correct and balanced properly. A lot of other tire centers don't do a good job of balancing and it makes the ride bad. This store seems to have really up to date machines and do a good job from start to finish.

Went on Friday after I called and had the tires put on hold. When I got there they had just given the tires to another customer. They then ordered more tires than were supposed to show up Saturday morning. I didn't get another phone call until Monday afternoon. They were extremely apologetic and when I went back they took me right in. This could have went alot worse but they owned up to it and took really good care of me.

I ve been riding on a slow leak tire for awhile. Yesterday evening it finally had enough. I was able to fill it with air and make it to Discount Tire literally one hour before closing. I was super nervous I d have to return the next day (my tire wouldn t have made it) because they were fairly busy and most places would say they can t fit you in.Well Eddie took a look at my tires, made his suggestions. Told me I needed all new tires, which I already knew I did so definitely didn t feel like they were trying to get over. Went ahead and just had them change them all out.Despite me being a super procrastinator they were able to get the job done and within an hour I was back rolling.Shoutout to Eddie. He was professional, super nice, informative and patient.If you re thinking about stopping in for service, I strongly recommend this location.

I had a very good experience, replacing one tire here. I made my purchase online, to have the tire ordered and was also able to easily book my appointment at the time of purchase. I received a notification when the tire was in stock in case I wanted to move my appointment up. When I showed up for my appointment, there were not a lot of questions, and I was easily found in the system. They seem to be well organized. Austin, who helped me, was friendly and personable. They informed me that there was an additional warranty I could purchase. It would greatly benefit me seeing as it was less than the cost of replacing one tire and would cover several tires. I appreciated this upsell as it will definitely serve me in the future, and I was not aware of it. The location was clean, all the staff was friendly And the service was timely. There was water and coffee available in the lobby and plenty of spaced out seating. I was in and out in under 45 minutes. I highly recommend purchasing your tire online and booking an appointment online, it could not have been easier.

Today I stopped by this location to see about my tire getting the flat fixed as I was driving on 121 heading east. At discount tire I explain the situation and I was told the tire was not repairable because of how the outside looks. A few minutes after I get on the phone with the dealership I was told to bring the car in and it'll be taken car of.. I get to the dealership the best way I can. I get to the dealership and explain it to then as well. They said it is actually repairable and would have me back on the road..For discount tire I'm disappointed for not taking the time to get the car in to actually check to see what could've been done.. it better to check then it is to assume what you don't know..In this photo is how it looked on the outside. As for the inside, all it has was a timing hole as if a nail went through it.
