I'm 65 years old and scheduled for a tire rotation and balance at Costco warehouse 1701 Dallas pkwy, TX today 2-13-24 at 11:30 am but I got a health scare in the morning and had to go and see my doctor. The scheduled time for my tire rotation was 12:30 am and thought I could finish seeing my doctor at Frisco and head straight to Plano. This time my doctor had to do a lot of tests on me that delayed my tire rotation. When I got there I explained it to the guy at the desk/counter and asked him two(2) simple questions. I know I came in thirty minutes late, are you going to accommodate and perform the tire rotation for me and he replied in affirmative and how long is it going to take and he said shortly. I stayed and patrolled the whole Costco several times and this guy never sent me a note. After two(2) hours I decided to physically contact him and to my surprise he walked out on me. I knocked the service door and one gentleman answered and asked him to get me my Subaru outback key and left the store. I want you all to remember that this Costco warehouse store is one of the best in Dallas to shop, and so the tire center is the worst place to take your car to. For years I have been purchasing all my tires from Costco and will never do it again when these tires wear out.

I Absolutely love costco. BUT, They should get out of the tire business.Total mess. First, the day I bought the tires they told me they would have them installed within four hours, well, that was false. After staying at the store for four hours, they told me they were really backed up and it was going to be another two hours. I should have demanded my money back, but I left to come back another day and get them installedThey have an average wait time of 4 hours for a walk in flat repair and 7+ days to book an appt for a FLAT tire! Leave it to the pros. Also sold me an 80,000 mile Bridgestone tire for f150 and it is now almost end of life at 17 months /9500 miles!!!! I cannot rate them any lower.

Awful servicing for flat tire! if you got a nail on the side part of your tire forget about. They consider that is safer for you to ride forward with the nail in you tire rather than repair your tire... Or better is good to seel you a new tire... But if you need to change one it irecomanded to change 2 tires.. Good Business but awful servicing

We left the hospital Sunday night to run to Costco before they closed to get food and on the way we noticed a tire at 16lbs. We asked if they could repair and even though it was so close to closing they graciously repaired our tire. Props to a great team with awesome customer service

Love Costco Tire center. I've purchased several sets of tires and car batteries from here. Their warranty is awesome and it's always easy in, easy out while you shop. Be sure to set an appointment so you can skip everyone in line. Usually takes about an hour to have something done on your car.

Put (recommended) tires on and now so loud can t hear inside the car . Called and they were of no help. Go at your own risk.

I did not purchase tires from Costco this time after determining that their prices were somewhat surprisingly among the most expensive in town. Their selection was also limited to only 4 tires in my size (I drive a small Ford pickup). I ended up ordering tires from Walmart, which had literally dozens of tires to choose from, at prices that were less than half of Costco s. I still rated Costco 4 stars, however, for the excellent service provided to me on prior visits and its unmatched warranty.

Tire Department is dishonest. They were fine when I purchased tires from them. But were dishonest when I went for a simple tire rotation (non-Costco tires).Front tires should have been installed to the back as they were 8/32".Rear tires should have been installed to the front as they were 6/32".Simple.They charged for a service but never performed that.My tires have the same thread as before the service.6/32" rear, 8/32" front.I don't know what kind of "tire rotation" they did but they didn t switch the tires.Never refunded. And arguing with my bank that they did it.Dishonest place.

SERIOUSLY THE WORST! I have had problems with the tires I purchased from Costco from the get-go. The alignment was fine BEFORE, but since the new tires, I'm having alignment and balance issues. It's so difficult to get balance service. I came in today because I was close by for another appointment. I waited TWO HOURS!!!!! and there were still two people before me. I ended up just asking for my key back. Of course, I could have scheduled an appointment had I known days in advance I would be there. They could have also told me that the wait would be obscenely long just to balance (not even rotate)!!!! If there are so many appointments that they can't fit anyone in, then they shouldn't allow walk-ins. I suppose if you live close to a Costco, then fine. But, I live an hour from the nearest one. It's terrible.

I ve been a Costco member since 2007. I can t say I ve been disappointed since 2007. Then one year I decided to give their tire service a try. Felt good in the beginning but perhaps due to popularity it s has become too much to deal with Wait time, appointments, no clear updates while waiting, no area to wait when things take a turn for the worst and have wait longer. And to put it simply by one of their staff You are more than welcome to go somewhere else. Indeed, customers always a choice when service is bad and rude.

Not professional guys!I asked the two tire installations and switch this morning. They said yes, but no switch for my first delivery! Then I noted when I did the state inspection. And I came back same day to do the switch. Another guys told me that I should put the new tires on the rear due to the car is FWD. It cannot control the rear tire, so it must be the new tire. I told him my dealership asked to put new tire in the front. But he sweared that everyone should follow the rule: FWD car should put the new tires on the rear, because the rear tires cannot be controlled. This is my first time to learn the knowledge like this one during my 15 years driving experience.

I rarely write reviews but feel compelled to write this one. My wife and I had a series of tire issues lately including a flat tire, a slow-leaking tire, and an accidentally damaged rim between our two vehicles. The folks at this particular Costco tire center could not be more helpful and have made us feel we are in good hands. The professionalism, thoughtfulness, and workmanship were tremendous. We would like to thank them heartedly.

The guy helped me is super nice, patient and knowledgeable. I have a tire scratched and the rim totally destroyed. It s better to make an appointment for the tire installation. If it s walk-in, they can help but waiting time is pretty uncertain (I took 2.5 hours to get my car back)He helped me with the whole situation and super patient to provide everything I don t understand and concern. Bonus is that he is also cute ( )

Love costco. Tire guys were knowledgeable, prices were great, service was on point. I had 1 tire leaking after a few days, took it in and fixed it, no questions, no hassles, no extra money needed. I will only buy tires from them.

It used to be very nice location with fast service, but not anymore. Last 2-3 years it getting slower and slower service with 'mandatory' appointments required and still 1+ hour waiting time guaranteed.Without appointment expect 3-5 hours (yes 5 hours sometimes!) waiting time. 20 years ago it used to be cheaper Costco tire prices, but now I see Amazon sells $200 cheaper same tires for my car. With waiting time I think I'll try Amazon next time and rotate tires at car service during oil change to save time and money.

Best place to get your tires but wait times are longer. Flat tire services are almost unusable as you will have to make an appointment. All other services are great.

The service - purchasing, warranty, and repair and nitrogen - offered is awesome and will make this competitive with similar offers from discount tire and so forth. So the review is 5 stars. Be aware that the service center has a weakness, and that is the front counter. Often, the front of house is lean and you can easily end up waiting in a line with just one clerk. The bonus is once you wait in line and arrange the service, it is out of your hands and you can shop, or food court, or otherwise. I trust the technicians at Costco more than the other places that are marginally cheaper, and so that make my decision easy.

I came in to check for the TPMS light on and Technician told me that they will take care of it fast. After finished shopping and waiting for another 30 minutes (total is about 90 minutes waiting) then the technician told me that the tire is bad and want to swap out with the donut. I told them why don't they let me know earlier and they don't even have the tire to replace the bad one (according to them). It's a very bad experience. I can't believe the Costco company let The tire department ruining the Costco well known about customer service. It's a shame. By the way, they have about 8 technicians working with 4 lifts and can't figure out how to get the job done.

Wow! Much better service than discount tire in terms of care taken for the car. Steering wheel covered, seat covered, floor covered, and torque specs based on the model of the car. Then inspected after completion. Go here instead of discount tire. Jesus V. helped me out and was very nice and explained everything well. Sim also explained everything about warranty and what was completed. I didn't feel rushed like I did at discount tire. Thanks!

These guys are great ... if you can get an appointment. They are super busy. They can't answer the phone when they are with customers so be sure to leave a message with administration on the main menu. I have had good success with getting my tires rotated here. I bought the Michelin X-Radial LT2 for my truck and have gotten 63,000+ miles out of them. Getting new ones soon.

Horrible services. Brought our SUV in to install 4 tires. Was told they might damage the wheel lock to remove one old tire and they will not be responsible for the damage. Unbelievable since we were rotating regularly at dealership without any issues and it is not an old car! We asked to cancel the installation and instead change the tires at dealership, then the tire center manager wouldn't do it unless we pay for the installation fees for the 2 tires already mounted. Had to call the Costco 1-800 customer service to resolve the issue.

Terrible - never buy tires at Costco - Bridgestone tires too worn to rotate at first 7500 miles. 50000 mile warranty - down to 4/32 at less than 10k miles.Bridgestone says you take your chances buying from Costco and Costco thinks it s fine. They both suck.Go to Discount Tire and get some Michelin s.

Had a bad experience at the food court and was dismissed by the manager, he basically told me that no one else has complained about the issue so my complaint must not be a real issue. He could have listened and asked more questions to understand more clearly that the food court was under staffed or at least under trained. That the food court staff were putting the orders out with out vocally calling out the orders above a whisper. I waited in line for my food for close to ten minutes with families ahead of me thinking that they were backed up but in reality the staff were really bad at organizing and calling out the orders. Just bad communication all around.

Place is understaffed and they all look overwhelmed, one guy at front struggles with computers, an employee was constantly reminding any customer who stepped in to stay out because the occupancy limit in store is 4 persons. This place isn't well managed. I'd definitely consider discount tire next time.

First, Thanks to one of the associate name Damian.. as I entered with concerned about what happened to my car and little upset about not getting credit from tire warrenty.. He calmly explained it to me and help me out to find the right tire other costco has it, my car tire size is not a common size so not everyone carry it, he confirmed to call that place to let them know that I am coming to change it.Again thank you Damian.

Three different tire service reps didn't acknowledge my existence though I stood at the desk for over 12 minutes, then a costco employee comes in and one guy in the tire center started helping the employee before me. I said I was next but he brushed me off saying it'll just take a few minutes for the costco employee (different department) to do paperwork to pick up vehicle. Seriously? Walked out, told manager at cust svc area and will not be back to this location.

As you would expect from Costco, excellent customer service, very good prices and high quality.A bit more communication on the process would make things much smoother
