We discovered that one of the tires was looking low on a recent drive into the Metroplex. There was a nail in the center tread. Took it to this Costco tire center. We didn't buy the tires here, but it was still a relatively low-cost fix compared to most anywhere else at less than $20. It was super busy, so it took about 90 minutes to get it done but we were able to shop while we waited. Service was super friendly, would definitely recommend tire service here.

My appointment was on Saturday, February 10, 2024. It was for tire rotation and balancing. While I was on the way to costco, I got a nail on my tire. The service advisor told me that the tire can't be repaired and I have voided my warranty as I haven't rotated tire for last 15k miles according to their records. I said that I did rotation during oil change as that was free with oil change. He told me that you need to bring that document to prove it. I said I don't have document and wanted to talk with his manager. He agreed.Few minutes back another person came and explained me the same warranty voided reason and said that manager has a lot to do and will not manage time to talk to me.So, I had to return back with donut tire on my car without having any warranty of my tire.Costco, is a really renowned store and this type of behavior or incident isn't really goes with Costco.If Costco corporate isn't corrupted, they should have investigate this matter and take appropriate action. They can find all details from their appointment as I have mentioned in the first line.

I got a flat and needed a new tire ASAP. The staff was so nice, explained all my options, and made sure I could make an informed decision. This took a terrible situation and made it as good as possible. I'm a customer for life. I really feel cared about.

Never ever come again. New tires Michelin bought in Oct 2022, now it is 4 and 6. N need replacement soon. Told me to wait for 5 hours for tire rotation after making an appointment. Not one time but twice. No way I will come again to Costco for all my tires need. No way!Forget to add that back in Oct 2022 when I replace my tires, they also crack my wheel causing micro leak n I have to spend 1k plus also to replace one of the wheels. Costco said this is not due to them. Then who else? Think many times before come here.

Worst maintenance.if you are 5 min late for your appointment they will take you as walk-in. They took 3 hrs 30min to install 4 tires not sure if anyone else can take that long to install 4 new tires. No notifications during the process like how long more it will take. You just need to wait for their courtesy call until installation is completed if you don t have a ride.

Thanks Costco tire center for the lovely black pen stain on the light grey interior of my Lexus. This garage kept suv and it s interior was in flawless condition until you guys worked on it. When the manager was notified of it they submitted a claim, which was later declined because I needed proof that it was done by Costco. Didn t realize I had to do before and after photos when I submitted my vehicle for maintenance to Costco.

Very long wait with no waiting area (3 hrs for me). The only available place to sit is the food court, which is always extremely busy. I wouldn t use their service again.

Keep your receipts and documents from this place, they are telling me that there's a gap and that voids my warranty for my tires from tire rotations. They are sure they didn't make any errors, why would I get my tires rotation at another location if I get for free at Costco. It's a shame that I told so many people to get their tires from Costco. Well now I know to file my receipts, even from trusted businesses. I guess it's time I go Sam's instead.

Whatever you do don t. I m a huge Costco fan, but the tire center is atrocious. Everything takes forever. Inefficiently run. Don t ever assume buying tires here will be convenient because you ll be able to shop while getting your tires installed/rotated unless it takes you 4 hours to shop.Don t get me wrong, the employees are super nice. Just overworked.

Great tire prices when they're on sale, but customer service is poor.Getting an appointment to get them installed takes weeks. The online system that takes appointments rarely works. They rarely answer the phone. They offer walk-in service on a first-come, first-served basis, but the guy on the phone refused to tell me when would be a good time to come in because he "can't predict the future".All-in-all pitiful service. I expect much better from Costco. I hate Discount Tire but I plan to go there in the future.

Brought a set of wheels in from a project car to dismount the tires. They couldn't dismount them without charging the full installation fee. They said I could come back and have tires re mounted. I came back later, and they tell me they can't mount tires in 2 piece wheels because it's against their rules. Then a manager reads a book for 15 mins before refunding me. Huge waste of time.

Damaged $3200 set of factory alloy wheels. These wheels were emaculate for 8 years and 75,000 miles up until I let these "Pro's" touch them.

This is worst tire service center, if someone wants hop in near by Costco.As they don t do service for customer satisfaction.I have booked my appointment last week, for Thursday . They didn t sent me any text messages or email to me about appointment timings.When i came to service desk requested to help with service, he said that consider me as walk-in and wait time is 2 n half hours.I showed him that I didn t receive any text about appointment in prior and thats mistake from service center end. But he didn t even consider my words.Never ever do tire service here

I had my tires replaced at Costco Tire Center in E Plano for the first time. Such a pleasant experience... Shelby (the shop manager) took the time to answer all my questions and concerns I had with my after market wheels setup. He was very professional and courteous and ensured the installation and wheel balance was done right. Thanks for your care! I will definitely be a returning customer.

Tire and battery line is usually long. Seems like the people that work the back, also work the front. So I'm sure they have a lot on their plate . Once you get help, it's always been a great customer service experience. Very helpful and informative.

No zero to give. Total disrespect to people time. Jordan was rude and wouldn t understand that I came back after the filed to give me my appointed service last time and was told to come back on this time. He told me this will take 2 hours. Waited an hour and 40 minutes and came back hoping they are about to be done but found my car in same place parked and was told we need another hour or two. I took my car and left. Will be filing an official report. Horrible service. No lore tires from Costco.

They gave me ETA between 45 to 90 minutes at maximum. Kept me stayed from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm to came to me saying that my tyre couldn t be repaired and had to replaced it.. How could need that time for one tyre checking..

This place is pretty good. The prices are great, but the 1-3 hour wait for tire rotation is frustrating. There is a Spec's on the other side of the parking lot - you can grab a 6-pack of some exotic new brew, get buzzed behind the dumpster, and by the time they have rotated your tires you should be completely sober. You're welcome.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE And they just rip off when you take your flat tire abs they instead of replacing it under warranty they UPSALE new tire price and don t give credit with excuse of - no rotation history.WORST EXPERIENCE AND STAY AWAY

I've always been a fan of Costco, but the kind of service Anthony and Taylor from Costco Tires Center is above beyond ANY tire stores I have worked with. They were so helpful and compassionate searching for reasonably priced and best suited tires for my car. When options were limited, they said they will call manufacture Monday to check for me. Ten minutes later I saw Anthony running into Costco where I was doing my grocery shopping to let me know that they've found me other options. I was beyond impressed with them for their willingness to help and how much they money saved me. Thank you, Anthony and Taylor!

Costco Tires will give you best bang for your buck! I needed tire for my Corolla and a set of tire that I wanted. I called it and schedule an appointment. Esteban recommended me a set of tires that will suit my needs better and they were cheaper than the tires I wanted. They changed my tires in less than an hour and a half. Overall, I had a great experience and highly recommend them.

Normal waiting time in East Plano Costco tire center is 2 to 3 hrs (today I went in for a simple tire rotation on my wife's vehicle).The tire tech. talk nice and professional but won't move a thing to change this waiting time issue. They even claim with pride how busy they are.This issue is not just recent but for last 12 years since I joined Costco.Tire price is competitive with a standard $70 off of the listed price.But I see this more expensive by factoring in the waiting time and wasteful spend we make while waiting.Think twice folks before you visit this Costco for tires. In fact all north Texas Costco have similar waiting time

The staff is really helpful and professional. When it comes to tires, they know it inside and out. For example, they are the only outfit that tells you to return and re-torque your wheel lugs 50 miles after servicing them. They also exclusively use nitrogen to fill the tires instead of air.The only downside is that they don't price match.Please "like" if this review has been helpful.

Drove out of my way to go and pick up my car battery. I was presented an opportunity of growth when the sales rep Andrew asked would you want to do this yourself if I gave you the tools? As terrified and dumbfounded as I was, I nervously said sure . He was like you ve got to have confidence to do this, it s super easy. Of course I didn t want to turn down the challenge so I went ahead and did it.I was granted the tools and did the leg work on my own with the help and spotting of Justin Russo whom happened to be off duty and was my sidekick throughout the process. A handful of employees kept coming up and checking on my progress, encouraging me along the way. Before this, I never have changed a car battery out on my own, let alone thought of doing it today. I m 21 years old and my parents never taught me how to do the basics. So it was really cool being pushed like this for my best benefit.I Recommend any of you to come down here. As long as you re nice, they will go out of their way to help you more so than they re required to do.Much appreciation! Thanks for the life lesson, tire shop boys.

Customer service is unacceptable, and I had to get a refund. Apparently CJ Gaither sees women with a stamp on their forehead that says "please upsell me and triage me last."When I went into the store, there was one scheduled appointment and three non-scheduled customers; all came in after me and all men. Gaither charges me for tires with a higher load index than I requested and tells me it will be two hours. I return two hours later, milk in tow, and Gaither says it will be another two hours. This is not an option. This 200% delay for a ten minute service is not the result of a busy day; this is the result of profiling customers and taking advantage of them. To make matters worse, Gaither is not apologetic and gives me an ultimatum: continue to wait there another two hours or schedule an appointment two days later. Neither are viable options. I would not have been in this predicament had he not repeatedly put male customers ahead of me.

The guys were doing the best they can but if you go on a weekend expect long wait times. We waited 30mins to just get the the counter then another 2hours just to get a $10 tire repair. Apart from the wait time we were satisfied with the way we dealt with and the job done

Don't pray for patience before you go. You will truly be tested. They are too busy to answer the phone to schedule appointments. Try online!! Or have a plan of shopping for two hours while you wait. I also suggest waiting it out at one of the restaurants within walking distance. With that being said... it isn't for lack of customer service. They have a great staff. They are just dealing with a large volume of walk ins with only 5 or 6 bays to work on vehicles. Be patient!

Costco tire service damaged my car wheels when they installed the new tires. All four wheels have very noticeable notchesand dents on the rims. I suspect they harshly removed old tires then damaged the rims. Filed a incident report but manger refused to admit it. NEGATIVE REVIEW AND NEVER COME BACK AGAIN!

Great place to buy quality meat and produce (Unlike Walmart). I also recently purchased 4 hard-shell luggage bags for only $200. The main complaint about this location is there's always a crowd, which means long lines (including at the gas station). However, this is not due to lack of staff or apathy. Just tons of people. Can't pass up all the great deals!

Went for tire installation, told it would be around an hour. Proceeded to take 4 hours. Wouldn t give accurate updates so I didn t know if I could go home and come back or stay and wait.
