Amazing facility, just walked in to get a state inspection.The staff member was very friendly and professional- got me started immediately with process of check in.The waiting area is 5 star - Coffee machine has amazing variety.In short it s a 5 star facility and I have in years not seen such well organized and up market venue.

JD was so helpful today! VW had recommended an alignment and rotation for my 2020 jetta and quoted me $$$ so I brought it to Caliber for a comparison. They had a look and said I did NOT need that service but did need new tires. He did not charge me for their time. A+ experience! Thank you.

Caliber fixed our A/C and the whole process was smooth and easy. They also replace our valve cover gaskets and brake fluid. Since we have had our Ford Fusion they have done the majority of the work on it. From repairing and replacing most of our front end suspension to oil changes. The Plano location has always done good reliable work on our car. Thank you guys.

Definitely the poorest experience with any car maintenance company ever. It started with my appointment not even being on the books despite me receiving confirmation emails & texts. But my biggest issue was lack of communication. I had to follow up for status updates more often than they followed up with me. I understand that it's a business and I'm not the only customer, but if you have promised that something will be done by the end of the day and it won't be, update me. Reset my expectations. If I've given you all you need to be able to give me adequate info, note it and utilize it. It's an inconvenience being without a car and my impression of this location is that there is no sense of urgency when diagnosing or even repairing vehicles. I'll never be back.

2 times I ve had sudden issues, once with tires and the most recent with brakes. Not only was the pricing extremely fair but the service was above and beyond amazing. I feel like family here. Everything is clearly explained, the work is done incredibly fast, and suggestions are made where necessary. They quickly diagnose issues with pinpoint questions before even seeing the vehicle. Their timelines are extremely accurate as well. Highly recommend checking them out, you won t regret it.

First time customer. I stopped in to get some information on Tires the week of November 1st. I spoke with Reese. He was very knowledgeable and was able to order me the Tires for installation on Saturday 11/04/2023. I arrived at 8:00 AM and had as seat in the lobby. When finished, Reese came by and discussed the install and warranty on the Tires. The entire process was smooth and Reese, and the rest of the crew, were very professional.Service: Tires

JD and Mechanics worked me into their Saturday afternoon schedule because my car was smelling and I was worried about oil burning. Evaluated the dash code, changed the engine oil and filter and also did a brake system check to let me know about a future repair. Great service, explanation, and images and then got me on the road to my next appointment. Thank you so much!

What a blessing it was finding Caliber Auto Care and especially JD! Almost two years ago I took my car to Brakes Plus on Preston Vineyard in Frisco, TX. I needed new brake pads. After that visit, I had horrible squealing in my brakes. Took it four more times to the same brakes plus and they replaced the brakes pads four times and "put on new rotors" twice. Still almost two years later, the squealing is still there.So, I learned of Caliber from a friend and it was worth a try. Took it there and JD advised me I needed new brake pads and new rotors. My struts were cracked somehow and Toyota dealership and Brakes Plus never noticed it , but there was no fluid left. I thought my 4runner was just old and falling apart. Caliber had to put on new struts and shocks as well. Total was around $4,500. I already spent almost $1,900 at Brakes Plus and JD did give me the option to go back to Brakes Plus and have them fix their error. I didn't trust that so I just dealt with the $4,500 with Caliber.After they took pictures of what needed to be done, JD called Brakes Plus and asked them why they resurfaced the rotors four times rather than put on new ones. JD advised me it was unethical for Brakes Plus to tell me they are replacing the rotors when they are really just resurfacing. Not to mention, it's never recommended to resurface the rotors more than twice. Brakes Plus also didn't reset the parking brake which, now I know, always has to be done on 4runners when brakes are done.IF YOU HAVE A 4RUNNER, DO NOT TAKE IT TO BRAKES PLUS!!!! They do not know what they are doing. This is the second 4runner I've taken there.But, Caliber had my 4runner for three days and I asked JD if he could leave my car outside the garage so I could pick up my office key and gym bag that I left in the back. He didn't want to leave it outside the garage and offered to drop my key and bag off on my porch, which was about 2 miles away! JD is absolutely amazing! Caliber now has a life long customer and it's been a couple of weeks and still no squealing tires. Oh, and with the new struts, I swear my 4runner is smoother than it was when i bought it four years ago!I highly recommend everyone try out Caliber Auto Care. If you are in Plano/Frisco area, go to the Caliber on Hedgecoxe and Ohio and talk to JD. Awesome experience!

We have our cars serviced at this location instead of the dealerships, due to their expertise, timeliness, courtesy. They never try to upsell, and always have pictures of any issues that our cars have. We always appreciate them and know that our cars are safer after being serviced. The lobby is also very comfortable and clean-if you have to wait.Services: Transmission, Electrical repair, Air & cabin filter replacement, Auto battery replacement

This place awesome! The staff is very polite and accommodating. Starbucks and cold bottle water is offered while you wait in a very comfortable atmosphere. Not your normal automotive shop. I was helped by John Summey and he was very Informative. They also take pictures of the parts before they remove them and pictures after completion. Love this place! Thanks guys and gals!

Great place and service. I go there regularly for oil changes and other items. The other day it was for my car battery which died. They took really good care of me and the fellow in the front (sorry don't remember your name) was ver attentive. I continue to be a happy customer!!

Eric Heath was able to give me a better quote than the dealership and they got my vehicle back to me in great time. Eric was in constant communication with me regarding the status of my vehicle. The courtesy shuttle service made getting to and from their location hassle free. I will definitely recommend to everyone I know.

Originally brought my car here based on high Google ratings.� I chose not to have Caliber work on my vehicle for the following reasons:- Found out I paid $129 for Caliber to basically run a check engine code reader the same way Autozone does for free and already did for me and Caliber came back with same diagnosis- The mark-up on parts to fix was 300%+. when I challenged it based on my research, they offered to reduce that price by about 10%.- Was told i need both cabin and engine air filters. I literally changed the engine air filter 5 days prior to coming in and the cabin filter 3 months prior.� When i asked if they physically looked at the filters, they back-tracked and said "oh sorry, the tech just said that based on car mileage so you probably don't need them"- Amount of labor time to complete was quoted much higher than 3 other auto repair shops in Plano- Tried to tell me that my oil level was too low and that likely caused the sensor to go bad. My oil level according to the dipstick was well in the midrange of the markings (I checked it both before and after they "diagnosed" it) and i get it changed typically at the dealer every 5k miles, full synthetic.- After i picked up my car, I had a voicemail stating they found some ways to help reduce the cost.� No thanks,Not saying they take advantage of all customers, I just value transparency up front. I've worked on my own vehicles for 30 years so know enough to be careful. Do your research, you'll be glad you did.

Dishonest and greedy peopleTook my car for a pre purchase inspection. Was told there is transmission and coolant leak. Took it to another mechanic and turns out there was no coolant leak anywhere to be found. There was a very minor leak from one of the cooler lines of the transmission which just requires that hose to be replaced. I don t understand, when you can see where the leak is, why you would tell me I have to pay $184 to know where the leak is.Turns out they just wanted to make $300 plus dollars doing diagnostics. Stay away from these scammers.

Been going here for a few years now and I wouldn t take my vehicles anywhere else. Eric H. always takes care of us, explains things thoroughly, and provides multiple options for any vehicle issues that need to be addressed. Their communication is great and they always get me in and out quick.

As a women, it s always imitating going to places that has anything to do with cars. You never know what to expect. I googled this place and saw it had good reviews. Did not disappoint. I was blown away by my experience. I highly recommend. They made you feel welcome and worked with you. I brought my own oil and filter but I needed a couple more quarts. They took care of me. I m running to tell all my friends and family about this place. They have a loyal customer now.

I read the reviews, and decided to make an appointment for oil change a week ago. Today I showed up for my appointment 15 minutes early, and they told me it would be an hour and a half wait. For an oil change! So I called Valvoline down the street (who also has great reviews) and they were able to get me in immediately. So from now on I ll take my business elsewhere.

I simply CANNOT trust this place. I am giving one star because they talked nicely. I went for fuel system, coolant fuel, transmission fuel, brake fluid and few other services. I left the car and when I received it, I found they did not perform all that was quoted. I just thought to open the hood and see what was done. None of the fluids were at their proper level. Coolant was below low level. Washer fluid was low. Engine oil was not changed. These are the things that I could see by my naked eyes. I wish I was a car technician; I would have caught all the details. I do not expect a car wash, but at least they should have taken care of the air pressure in the tires. The tire pressure readings were at prior levels. I think out of 8 services they quoted me and charged me almost a thousand, only half (or may be even not even half) were done! Of course, I felt sad and very disappointed and wished I should have never come here!

From start to finish this was hands down BEST experience EVER with repairs to my car! Eric listened to my stressful situation and promised they could help. They replaced my transmission and made sure my warranty company paid for every dollar they could. Car drives like a dream. Need someone/someplace honest?? Come here!! I asked for price on oil change, rebalance, and my ac checked. When I got there the service advisor said he miss quoted the price of Freon. Saying that it was the more expensive one because it was a newer vehicle. I did not understand that, considering I gave him the make model and year of the vehicle. Apparently, the idea under promise over deliver was not in the cards that day. After everything was supposedly complete and after I paid for those 3 services, I went to my car and noticed the oil odometer wasn t reset. Come to find out, the technicians never did the oil change. I would have never caught this unless I saw that odometer. Very unprofessional considering I paid for a service that wasn t complete. It is one thing if the service advisor didn t hear me about the oil change and I never paid for it, it s quite another to pay for assuming it was complete. This brings up the question of trust worthiness. Did they actual balance the car? I wasn t there to see if they did. If there are parts in the future I need for repair on my vehicle, do I actually need those parts or just some of them? The best the service advisor could do was offer a free oil change, no percentage off. I guess by his word no written coupon nor written email.

Time and time again... they bend over backwards. I'm done with going to the dealer. Who needs to wait weeks. These guys hustle hard and do all they can.I needed tires... oil change... state inspection on my F-350. They had the tires in next day... let me run around and work... waited to the last second to bring it in. They had everything set and done... back home before dinner.Been bringing multiple vehicles here since they have opened... should have written this review sooner. Today showed me I needed to get on it and give them some credit. All professionals and all working their hardest.Services: Tires, Vehicle Inspection, Auto tire replacement, Vehicle safety inspection
