Jonah was amazing and super helpful! Him and his staff members diagnosed my fusions issue super fast and repaired it in less than a day. I highly recommend going here for any car issues or questions.

I give this Brakes Plus location on Independence Pkwy in Plano a five star review based on their level of care and their professional advise that they gave me on my alignment issues and they noticed that my car was missing the links on the Sway Bar. I also appreciate that Mike recommended a preventative maintenance to replace the original manufacture s rear shocks when it was needed. I was helped pretty quickly and they installed the parts that were ordered as soon as it arrived. Mike was courteous and kind and understood my concerns as we discussed the work needed on my car. I would recommend coming to Brakes Plus in Plano for wheel alignments, steering and suspension system checks and shock and struts checks.

Mike Jonah and Kevin were absolutely amazing! I mean I m not sure where else you can get this type of professional service but these guys know what they re doing and trust me it s with every penny in your bank account , not only were able to keep a great conversation but also I learned a few things about my vehicle that I did not before , once again I highly recommend you goto Kevin , Joan or Mike

Jonah & Mike were fantastic with my service. I ve been coming here since I moved to Plano 6yrs ago and they always have the most affordable prices. They fast and communicate with you through the whole process. On top of that they explain everything and make sure that we understand what the service entails. Thanks so much!

One stop shop, you have a check engine light, they ll charge you a cheap diagnostic, fix it, resolve. They also got the buy 3 struts get one free deal. Got my 2004 Lexus some new suspension and resolved my coolant leak issues. Recommend to everybody who needs repairs.

I brought my car in for new brake pads. Mike (service advisor) was very kind and informed me of additional repairs needed, what needed immediate attention and other options that were available to me. The service was great and done quickly (quicker than expected).

Kevin and Angelo diagnosed a problem with my Volvo S80 and provided a very fairly priced solution. They committed to completing the repair the same day even if it required working overtime.I am pleased to report these gentlemen are men of their word.I recommend them without any reservation.

My grand Cherokee had a headlight that wasn t working. I went ahead and changed the bulb there. The staff were very friendly and they did a quick job, just sat there for about 30 minutes and it s done. They also did whole inspections and printed the recommend items and the price. Recommend! Plus, Mike the service advisor was awesome!

Horrible experience! I walked in on a Thursday to get a simple oil change, and walked out 15 minutes later after calling the manager out for taking my vehicle off lot.1. Without permission2. Not required for an oil changeHe told me it s what they do when I asked why? and told him that was unnecessary, but also shady and he knew better than that.For new drivers (young people) who aren t aware, crooked shops will drive your vehicle off their lot and the create unrelated issues to then tell you to fix it with them. It s a common scam and that s exactly what I seemed to be going on.I had been a loyal customer of Brakes Plus all over DFW for years, no longer. I called corporate and they ve opened a ticket to investigate further. FYI, if anything is wrong with my vehicle, Brakes plus and this location will be held financially accountable for that. An $80 oil change may end up costing myself and themselves tens of thousands of dollars.

I want to complement Kevin and his team. They provide great customer service and have helped with repairs on my Yukon and other cars in the family. I trust Kevin when he tells me something must be done and that means a lot to me. I also feel they will make good if anything goes wrong. They will keep my business.

Went in to get my brakes looked at & Jonah did an amazing job at quickly finding out the problem. Got them serviced & was gone in no time. Staff & environment was very friendly! Glad to have a reliable shop like this in the neighborhood.

The staff were very kind and receptive when I came to the shop with an unexpected repair need just prior to their closing for the evening. Without hesitation they accepted my vehicle and assured me that they would assist me the next day. As promised, the next day they quickly identified my repair need and suggested other preventative maintenance for my truck. Within 9 hours the shop had completed all of the repairs, and covered me with a free oil change. I was provided detailed description of the work that was completed, assured of a lifetime warranty for the parts, and given coupons for future service needs. Service manager Brian and all of the staff are very polite and attentive. i will certainly return for service in this wonderful shop.

Kevin has worked on my F-150 and Subaru numerous times over the years. He s always been extremely helpful, knowledgeable and honest. I live in Fort Worth and have tried local guys a few times but always ended up having to make the trek to kevin for him to take a look. He s the guy you take your car to for a good diagnosis and repair when you need someone who s trustworthy and capable.

I ve been using brakes plus for 5 months now - their lifetime warranties out do any other garage. The team is very knowledgeable. If he can, Kevin the store manager will get the job done quickly and efficiently. My car had a burning smell the past few days coming from the engine. I stopped by here to see what they could do for me, Mike greeted me and took a Quick look at my car and instantly knew what the issue was. A plastic bag got stuck in my engine exhaust. He told me they could pull it out without a service charge.Honest and hardworking, Mike was super cool.

I came to Brakes Plus today after trying several other shops to fix a horrible vibration my car had. They got my car into the bay immediately and got to work. Identified the problem with the suspension (which other shops didn t seem to be able to do) and walked me through it. They were prompt, efficient and thorough. All employees were professional and kind. Definitely recommend!

[01/02/2024] - Took my car to get 2 control arms replaced and also for an alignment. Was highly impressed with the service from Brakes Plus. Kevin G. and Mike J. explained the cost to me (as the labor on it was quite involved), and promised to complete the job by end of the day, and kept to it! And the car runs better now![08/11/2023]:I used to be a customer of City Garage and noticed it has been taken over by Brake Plus. For a couple of years, I had moved on to another mechanic as I felt the City Garage prices were a bit too expensive. My car had a radiator coolant leak, and I decided to give the new owners a try and I am happy with my decision. The front office people were very courteous, and Brian and Kevin both took care of my needs. The issue turned out to be related to water pump which they fixed. And they also took care of adding more A/C coolant. The price for both were reasonable. Overall I am very happy with the result.Services: Auto water leak repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto A/C recharge

I went in panicking about my truck and the staff was so kind and helpful. They took me in as soon as I got there and let me know the problems right away. They also made great conversation as well :) the pricing was really good. Can t complain at all :) if I have a problem I will be going back!! 10/10

My experience was great! Came in for a oil change and told me about my Serpentine Belt needed to be changed. Went the extra mile for me and didn t try to push anything extra on me. Definitely will be back and enjoyed the conversation with them as well.

I've been taking my 20 year old Honda Accord to City Garage for a few years now and have always relied upon them to be honest and to provide great service. Now that they've transitioned to Brakes Plus I can say that nothing has changed. They are still the same honest, reliable people providing the same level of great service. Service today was done quickly and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Heard a horrible noise coming from my brakes and took it in. Within like 20 minutes they had diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Also fixed my handbrake perfectly. Mike was so helpful and energetic it was a pleasure to have him get my car the help it needed
