Last month, I went to this store for a free diagnostic testing because my engine light came on. After the test, I asked the guy who helped me if he could lend me a battery removal tool. I wanted to disconnect the battery and reconnect it so that the engine light would go away first and see if it would come back on. Then he gave me a tool, but that tool couldn't remove my battery, and then I went back. Asked him if he could lend me another one. At this time, the man wearing glasses with eyes problem seemed to be explaining the problem to the employee who helped me check the engine light. He seemed to be the manager. Then when he knew that I wanted to borrow tools, he told me that you can buy one, and then I said I just wanted to borrow it, and then he continued talking to the employee and never talked to me again. I waited there for ten minutes, and he kept pretending that I didn't exist. The young man seemed to be told not to lend it to me, and then he obviously avoided me. Finally, I had to leave. This is my first Google review, and it is also the most rude service staff I have encountered in all my years in the United States. I don t know much about cars, so why should I buy something that may only be used once? I think even if I find a neighbor, they won t be stingy about lending it to me once. Even if they don t want to lend it to me, they can just tell me directly. Sorry, we can't borrow it. You can buy it if you want to use it instead of ignoring me for minutes. Moreover, there is an advertisement on the auto zone website that I can borrow tools. I only need to pay a deposit of the normal price of the tool. If I return it within three months, I can get a full refund. I'm an Asian, and I don't know if his attitude would be different if I were from other ethnic groups. Fortunately, he doesn't own auto zone, otherwise I feel like he would condescend everyone. Lastly, I want to say that this comment is specially written for you, you pathetic being, and you are welcome!

The customer service that KC provided was marvelous! She was so delightful, informative and knowledgeable. While visiting this store, I saw her go above and beyond to make sure customers needs were met all while smiling. She is truly an asset to this company and location! I ll visit this store many more times solely based on my experience with her.

Been having problems with my car battery for the past 2 weeks. Walked into store, which was busy, however Michael mentioned he would be with me in a few minutes. Michael tested my car battery and informed me that it was bad. He gave me a few options, and informed me of his battery recommendation.Michael installed the battery, and took extra care in making sure that the battery was installed properly. I was on my way in about 20 minutes.I highly recommend this AutoZone location on McDermott/Independence. Great customer service!

I was very satisfied with my experience. Will is very knowledgeable and kind! He broke down the prices and explained the warranty. I asked him if he could install my battery if I bought one and he said yes and had a very pleasant attitude.I will be back to this location for sure.Thank you, Will!!

Super rude! I went there to buy some windshield wipers and one staff was helping me install them. He started and then suddenly said it s stuck and he needed to go in and get someone. Then I waited and the second staff with a prosthetic leg came out. He asked me a lot of questions that I don t understand. Because the first staff didn t explain what he was doing and I didn t know which wipers are the new ones. The second staff then looked at me with contempt, saying You sure don t know a lot of things! I have never been talked to like that at a store! This is super rude and offensive! I don t know if it s because I m a minority female. But the way he talked to me was really out of the line! I want to share my experience here and I will NEVER come back to this place again!

Had some trouble replacing my liscense plate lights so I came here off a recommendation. Jorge and Ashley were so sweet and helpful! I was in and out with fixed lights in 10 minutes and on my way to pass my inspection. Thank you Autozone and the wonderful people that work there! Highly recommend!!!

When you go to an Auto Zone and they help you replacing you battery that s nice and that s credit to the company and their guys. But when you re willing to go to the site to help when you didn t have to, running back and forth to pick up needed parts and WORKING IN THE RAIN? That s AARON W. from AutoZone - McDermott and Independence Rd.Thank you Aaron and while you refuse to accept any compensation, pizzas is on the way for you and your guys there!

VISIT THIS AUTOZONE!! SEE AARON!!I believed I was in need of an in warranty battery for a 2015 Nissan Frontier - no problem, Aaron, got me set up with the replacement battery right away. As it turns out, not only did the battery need to be warrantied, but the previous technician back in Virginia totally botched the install. Aaron spotted the problem immediately, explained the cause to me, and did an extraordinary job rectifying the other non-AutoZone technician s installation. I will be back on the road shortly, and can promise you that when j in have a need for assistance with my vehicles again, I WILL be coming back to the AutoZone at the corner or Independence and McDermott. None of staff will ever steer you wrong, but I have to say that every time I ve had even the most minor issue, Aaron has taken care of my problem without complaint and in extraordinary fashion. Consider Aaron a Subject Matter Expert!! THANK YOU!!!!

The man who helped me with my break light today was so kind and helpful! I wish I got his name so I could mention him in this post. I originally was struggling to find a proper bulb for my break light on my own and he stopped everything he was doing and helped me find it, then he installed it quickly and efficiently. He was sweating from the extreme heat but he never complained once or seemed annoyed working in the heat. They should really pay him more especially having to go outside in this record breaking heat. It's ridiculous how hot it is but he had a great attitude and was working so hard. If his manager sees this, pay his a raise please. The worker was a African American man, light skinned, with kind eyes and nice hair. Please give him a wage that is worth his amazing work ethic and customer service. I'm not talking $1 or $2 I'm talking about salary, extra paid vacation time, stock options! This man was not only helping me but basically doing everything in the store for the half dozen customers there. Other employee was just on the phone. I assume work related stuff but who knows.

Aaron W went above and beyond to take care of my car today. I came to check on battery and viper in my Lexus car. He not only checked and replaced them but close removed all corrosion and prevented damages to the car in the near future. Thank you so much Aaron!! I would highly recommend AutoZone!!

Staff here are always helpful. Noticed one of my headlights wasn t on this morning. Instead of selling a replacement bulb, Jorge checked the light, determined it was loose, reseated the light, and sent me on my way. Didn t charge me anything.

I went in for a battery replacement and Aaron did the best job with the best customer service I have recieved in my life. He went above and beyond what was required to do and cleaned the terminals and made sure to explain it all in detail before doing what he did to make sure I understood what was happening. I will def be back to this autozone for all my automotive purchases in the future just because of the gentleman that helped me today.

Mike was very helpful. Car repair shops were asking me a fortune for changing the headlight bulbs and asking me to buy $200 bulbs. Mike installed H11 costing $57 and the headlights work perfectly. Excellent service and very knowledgeable staff.

I just left there getting a battery replaced, that was the best and quickest service ever. I never walked inside of a auto zone and got that kind of service. The guy name was Aaron (the BMW guy) great customer service and quick that guy needs a raise. I m definitely coming back to get my car parts.

Fast Friendly Service at this location... Accepted Core on damaged battery... Recommended larger battery for the same price as original size... Fitment was better than original and with over 150 cold cranking amps more than original... Thanks !

There's a reason Aaron has so many positive reviews on here. He deserves it. As a service professional myself I will say that Aaron's customer service is second to none. He replaced the battery in our truck and went the extra mile making adjustments to make sure it was fit properly. He took the time to explain everything that was going on and was willing to teach every step of the way. We even offered to tip him at the end which was declined. Extraordinary work Aaron! Come see us at Haywire for dinner sometime!If you are having any issues with your vehicle.... do yourself a favor and go see Aaron at this location. It will save you time and money.

Great service. Aaron helped replace a battery in my wife s car - took his time to clean the connections, recommended the correct battery. Additionally the manager Arnold was very nice as well - Taking care of an issue with return/credit etc. Aaron is an asset to this store and I will keep coming back here !!

Aaron was amazing technician. He assisted me with replacing my battery. He provided clear reasons and recommendations on a good battery. He also spent extra effort preparing my battery for installation because my car had very bad corrosion that was preventing it from working correctly. The job, enthusiasm, and positive attitude are way beyond anything you will get at a normal repair shop. He is an amazing person to work with that really cares about the customer. Thank you!!!!!

This morning, I was in need of a battery change since I had to get a jump start from my On Star Service. I was really concerned about my car, I called AutoZone and they told me they had the battery for me.I finally got there and I encounter the kindest, more professional, caring associate I have ever met, Mr. Aaron. He went above and beyond to help me choose the right battery and he offered to change my battery as well. While he was taking care of my car, his manager reached out to him several times for his assistance with other customers. Mr. Aaron managed to take care of all the other customers and still help me with my battery. I cannot Thank enough Mr. Aaron for all his time and assistance today. You really have the best associate in your team!! I am very happy to have met him today!! Please, take care of him!!
