My first experience with this shop was about 11 years ago with my previous car. The tint I got then still looked great a decade later when I traded it. So now this is my 2nd time coming here and I would have no problem recommending this shop to anybody. All the tints have lifetime warranty and they do a good job. I ve shopped around and the prices here are similar to other shops or better on some packages. The customer service is also very good.

I first called Alta Mere after searching for window tinting locations near me. They had very positive Yelp reviews. I called them and the lady who answered was very friendly and answered all of my questions and provided me pricing both verbally and through email. I scheduled my ceramic window tint appointment and the staff was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They weren't pushy and I felt comfortable making my choice of tint. They worked on my brand new Tesla Model 3 and the ceramic tint they added has made a HUGE difference considering the 100 plus degree temps we have had here in Dallas! Once I picked up my vehicle after about 4 hours for them to ceramic tint the windshield, rear and side windows, they gave me what to expect and how to best take care of the window tint (no ammonia based cleaners!). Highly recommended! I'm a repeat customer and just got my 2nd car tinted with them. What makes them stand out? They have OUTSTANDING customer service and professionalism AND my car looks great. I was impressed with the staff's level of knowledge and their professional way of explaining all the options and the benefits. Whomever runs this establishment is a genius, because they picked the right people.My car was just done and looks great. My last car looked great as well and the tint was going strong after 4 years. With all the tint places out there, I didn't even consider going anywhere else for my 2nd car because my first experience was so great here.You will not be disappointed with your experience and the prices.

What a great experience I had with Alta Mere Plano! I arrived promptly when they opened hoping they could tint my vehicle because I didn t have an appointment. I was given easy to understand options that included features and benefits of the films they had to offer. This made it easy with no confusion at all. Once I made my choice, they happily took my keys and said they d work it in. The waiting room was clean and tidy and very informative about all the services they offer. I wasn t there two hours and they had my car completed and pulled around. The checkout process was simple, I gave them my card, signed, and I was out the door. As I looked over their work I noticed their attention to detail was spot on. There was no light gaps or bubbles. I did my research and I m extremely satisfied with my choice to have Alta Mere Plano tint my car. And, I ve referred others to them.

Chose Alta Mere after looking around online and reading many reviews. Since I was steered right, I had to add my own 5 stars for this outstanding business! The existing tint on my back window had bubbled, was peeling, and had gotten basically impossible to see out of. They somehow were able to get the old one completely off, and replace it with a perfect new one that is an excellent match with the still good tints on the other windows. I did need to leave the vehicle from about 9am to 1pm for this big and hard job. It's probably not the cheapest place in town either. But I believe you get what you pay for. They did an amazing job! Everyone I talked to at every step along the way was very courteous and professional. The tint has a lifetime warranty! The guys at Alta Mere did a fantastic job with my truck windows. They even bent over backwards to make sure i was happy with the visor tint as I'm picky about that part. I can highly recommend, and will give them and future jobs i need done!

This is probably the best window tinting shop in the state. You are treated exceptionally well from the time you enter until the time you leave. I brought my vehicle in for tint warranty replacement after 20 years which was done by another shop. They removed the old tint and installed the new in 2 -1/2 hours, and it's perfect! I would have had the replacement done in Dallas by another AltaMere shop but they declined to honor the warranty and gave me the run around. Glad I went to the Plano shop! They stepped up and exceeded my expectations. Love the 35% Xpel XR black solar ceramic window tint! On my Tesla model 3. The salesman I worked with was very friendly and accommodated me keeping my car at the shop over the weekend since I wasn t able to pick it up same day. Fast service, friendly staff and quality work. I called them couple weeks before due to their really good reviews. I was looking for someone to tint all the windows in my Tesla Model X knowing that the windshield was quite difficult. I drove three hours and called them the morning I wanted to drop off my car knowing I would not be able to drop it off till almost noon they stayed late to get my car done so that I could get back home. Not only did they stay late, there was an issue with the front camera system afterwards, although it turned out to just need to be reset through the computer. They came back to the shop and stayed for nearly an hour past that to try to fix the issue. They went above and beyond 10 out of 10 I recommend. Also the window tint looks amazing.

Sean and his team at Alta Mere were amazing! I found them on Yelp! Sean took the time to explain and share with me all my options for tint. It was important for me to choose good quality since I use this vehicle mostly to haul my two small kids around so they don t overheat during the summer. They were able to scheduled me pretty quickly and did an awesome job on my Honda CR-V! Definitely will recommend to friends or family needing tint services for their cars!

This place does the best job! I couldn't find anyone that would attempt to take off the rear window tint without sacrificing the rear defroster on my C6 vette. Elmer stepped right up and not only did he save the defroster he was able to tint the rear window flawlessly. Do not waste your time anywhere else. I thought customer service was a thing of the past but Alta Mere has restored hope. Thanks again Elmer!

These guys did an awesome job on my 2019 Challenger! I called in spoke to Sean, and was able to have my tint appointment the very next day, they did an awesome job with my tint they left it flawless! Since I get off work late I asked them to leave my car out for me so I could pick it up after hours, they did an awesome job by putting my car in a nice corner right in front of their business, away from other vehicles that could possibly hit my car! And that shows me how much they respected me as a customer, and respected my car! I really do appreciate these guys! I will let everyone know to go get their tint done with these guys cause they do it right!I would give these guys more stars if I could that s how awesome they did! Service: Vehicle window tinting

The salesperson that sold me my car recommended these guys when I asked him about changing the dark window tint on my vehicle back window and both front doors. I went in and talked to them. They knew exactly what I was wanting and the price was within my budget. I took my car in the next day and they got it taken care of in a little less time than they originally said it would take. Sean and team did it again! Been coming to store since 2011. We have done all of our vehicles for myself/family. They do great work. Sean does a masterful job of walking me through our needs and making appropriate recommendations too. Even if that led to a smaller/lesser sale. Thank you again, Sean and Altamere team! Alta Mere has been in Plano Texas for as long as I can remember and they do high quality work at a fair price! I took in my new 2011 Ford Ranger and had all the windows tinted and the strip across the top of the windshield. I dropped my truck off at noon lunch time and at 1:30 pm they called and told me it was ready I was amazed at the high quality job they did! The team took their time explaining the different tint options and then removed the old tint on my truck that was not ceramic and applied the new tint for my full truck within 2hrs. Great customer service and detailed and clean work!

Got my 23 Ford Maverick tinted here /w the top of the line nano ceramic to get ready for the Texas summer.The quality of installation was A+ and the gentleman up front helped me select the right tint level to meet my needs (dark but not too dark!).

I chose Alta Mere after seeing many other positive reviews. The process was very easy, I was able to get a Saturday appointment as I am working during their weekday hours. The customer service was great and my tint looks perfect!

These guys knocked it out of the park. I called them just before 2 on a Friday afternoon without any appointment and they had me in and out before 3. They are super friendly and very knowledgeable. Here is update.Thanks for the comment. appreciate it.Well, I have never refused. Don't try to cloud the issue.Your job did totally ruin my glasses. my back seat glasses have lots of scratches too. Front quarter glass has significant distortion vision.Yes, You successfully messed up all of my glasses and you are not taking your responsibility.Again.I have been communicating with you by texting. You should consider not everyone is welcoming to have a call or visiting to hear your rejection on commitment.All in all, the most disappointed part of it must be you guys took back your commitment and not honored the commitment without agreement or any.Even you guys asked me to sign on document that is very unprofessional. You would think you may always flip any commitment if you want.You said but I have not heard all in detail process and I have never convinced how you guys working safely for the glass. Nothing was presented to me about how you guys working carefully. Per your logic, if you said you didn't then I have to trust you based on nothing. You said you did not then I have to take that?--------------------------------------------------------------------------------I reviewed at different site but I would let more people know how this shop does..here is my reviewIt's very disappointed that this shop does not honor customer commitment even with document. I have no idea why they ask me to sign on document and what is that document.Not sure how all gives 5stars but that lucky did not happen to me. here is the story.Visited to remove tint and the guy estimated 2hrs and the job was just done in an hour.After came back to home, Noticed that job was done obviously in hurry.- glue residue is all over the place and still stick to the glasses.(I had to remove glue residue with glue remover again and clean all window with micro fiber.)- tail gate glass has a lot of swirl.back to the shop showed the swirl on tail gate glass to the guy.The guy told me that he knows- Many of shop use scotch brite that cause this but they don't use it.- Probability is it was done as a part of prepration of tinting(why? who use scotch brite to remove dust for Tint installation )- they use plastic card wrapping paper(can paper towel be permanent?)BTW, The guy offer to me that replacement of glass if I'm not happy with it whatever reason as they are the last person touch the glass.then asked me to sign on document(and I did sign on the document). I was so glad at such a convenient offer.Next day the guy(might be different guy) reach out to me that over text.(I usually don't use call work hour)- they would not honor commitment because of I'm not original owner of the vehicle.(Why they asked me to sign on the document and what is that document for???.)- Instead, they will put transparent tinting film..(no thank you)- they did not make the swirl because other glass are ok. so they didn't.(This can't be any clue. What if they do ok job for other glasses and they mess up tail gate glass? tail gate glass is most tricky part and they know how to hurry. What was the secret to complete job in half of an estimation?)- there was not any sorry for not honoring their commitment. Kept me pushing to visit or call them. (they don't honor the commitment and why I need to visit/ call them.)Just be aware of that the document they use is just nothing for them. I regret I did not ask them to sign on and get a copy.

Alta Mere is the only place I will take my cars to have my windshields, heck every piece of glass on on the car, to be tinted.I trust Shawn and the guys there in Plano, and I HAVE TRIED others, with terrible results always something to deal with or fix, when I have let others do the work! And I don t have that issue at Alta Mere.I have taken 4 of my last vehicles to Alta Mere, and I won t change that in the future. I hope you give the guys at Alta Mere a chance to get your detail needs taken care of and to make you proud. I believe you will thank me later!
