I really have to give a shout out to the team on Easter Sunday- I called ahead of time to make sure they were open, and they were very nice on the phone. When I got there, I was able to get a diagnostic on my battery. I had been very stressed due to some issues I'd been having with my car starting, and was able to find out what was happening at last! I was very worried that I wouldn't be able to get any answers on a holiday. Thanks for your kindness!!

I needed a part for my 1999 Mountainer and nobody had it but I called Jesse and they say they got it , they even had it for cheaper than Napa! Ask for Jesse when you come here too because he also recommended some other items I needed for another repair and made sure I had all the tools and cleaning supplies I needed too to finish the job! I m definitely coming back here and inviting my family and friends too!!

Did a pick up order on Wednesday for a new brake set for my car. The gentleman at the counter were really nice and knowledgeable, and helped my husband and I get a rental set to replace the brakes ourselves.On the return today, it was a different story. On Wednesday, I asked if a receipt was needed for the return and was told I just need my phone number. Well today, went return the kit and James at the counter was pretty rude about the return and said we needed a receipt or we couldn t return it. We explained it was a rental and we were told we only needed a phone number. He still didn t want to take it back. Luckily we had the receipt but the manner and tone was unprofessional and I am sure some of the other reviews has something to do with this guy. I hope the manager sees this so James can be addressed on how to be nice to others.

Sold me an incompatible part for $300 and they are refusing to take it back because I don't have the original box. I installed it to clear an air/fuel mix code due to bad sensor, that code cleared after driving around but I have a new code related to heater circuit voltage. Come to find out, this sensor just doesn't work with this engine.I understand I threw away the box but I am unemployed trying to scrape by and if I'm gonna be out $300 because of their mistake, I'll never shop here again. I can't keep the boxes of absolutely everything I buy, I would have no room to live. I kept it for a few days just in case. Meanwhile, come to find out the guy over the phone anyway told me I can't return it because it was installed. I installed it because you sold it to me, what else was I going to do with it?This experience has left a horrible taste in my mouth. Never again.

Since Google won t let me leave another review, I will edit my previous one. I visited the store today with my son to buy filters for our cars. I was was lucky enough to have James help us again. He was very quick to get what we needed and his customer service was top notch!! Again James was awesome!!

I m very impressed with the staff at Advance Auto Parts! I called them on Labor Day because my car wouldn t start and I needed someone to confirm if my battery was bad. Tim got his battery check device and checked it and determined that the battery was indeed bad and needed replacement. I asked if they could replace the battery while I waited and he said sure! Other auto parts stores in the area had previously told me that they didn t have anyone that could do that. I went ahead and got the battery at Advance Auto Parts and they got my new battery installed and working in short order for no extra cost!!! The price was about the same as other auto parts stores in the area!!! I m definitely coming back to Advance Auto Parts!!!

Well stocked, staff very helpful and courteous. I had to find replacement lug nuts for the factory-supplied capped lug nuts that failed when removed for a tire change. The staff was knowledge exceeded the in-store computer, they knew the 2015 Mustang took a large seat, went into back and dug around to find a perfect solution. I will return soon as I am the mechanic for the family's 5 vehicles.

I was at the advanced auto parts. Jesse and John were the people helping me out . John was doing good but Jesse on the other hand didn t even want to tell me how to use the grease gun that they were selling.He just said take it or leave it and was having a attitude about it, that isn t how you should treat customers. This was my first and last time at advanced auto parts.

Horrible serviceTwo staff members sitting in back were not able to helpJust need to get codes readHad to wait some timeVery over weight guy said you don t have a check engine light I said, you can t see (service engine soon) that is a check engine light.Guy obviously doesn t know his stuffPlus, while they were holding the code reader guy wouldn t let me plug it in.What a joke

Great location. The store is clean, organized and seemed to be well stocked. The staff is very friendly. Phillip was really helpful and a fun guy to talk to. I just stopped in here to grab a couple of things, but I will be going back. I appreciate good service.

The person who's supposed to check car codes was extremely lazy and said they couldn't test for the codes we were asking about. I Will never go back to this location lazy workers and bad customer service. Management should really give their employees training.

I had the pleasure of coming into advance auto parts today. I was relieved to receive exceptional customer service from the two employees that were working today. Philip was very knowledgeable, genuine and kind. An Older wise gentlemen that I didn t get the name also helped me with the purchase of the battery and got me out of the store under 10 minutes. I exchanged my battery core, that was a handle on my old battery but not on the new battery that I bought. Philip came out and he was kind enough to take off the handle from the old battery I have to make sure it s safe. Both of the employees of this location went above and beyond. Much appreciated.

First time visiting an Advanced Auto Parts store . Their 1225 Coit Rd location in Plano, TX is a great store The counter employee, Logan, and store manager, Cassius, both went out of their way to ensure my complete satisfaction to obtain a new Optima battery and free installation I ve added this store to my Contacts - as this is where I ll continue to do business for my automotive needs.

I needed to replace a battery and after some really bad service from the company I originally bought it from, I came to this location. Reggie was a pleasure from the moment I walked in. He greeted me and made sure that all my questions were answered. He also went above and beyond to make sure my new battery got installed properly after determining that the alternator and starter weren t the issue. In a world where we do quickly run online I was glad to come here in person.

Does not get any better!!! Store manager Cassius went above and beyond to help us. Passing thru Dallas, our pickup battery needed replacing. Cassius helped pick the right Diehard Gold (as later confirmed by multiple online positive reviews), made the purchase as easy as possible, was polite informative and friendly, and then did a stunning job of installing the battery while standing in the rain. Hard to imagine better service anywhere. Cassius has sold me on being an Advanced Auto customer for life. A1!!!!

I took a battery in that I bought about three years ago on the dot but I didn't know if it was before or after. (3 year warranty) Mind you three years is a pretty short battery life. The guy who helped me was helpful but at the same time not at all. I kept asking when I purchased the old one I brought in and he kept saying that it's out of warranty and wouldn't look. He finally looked and said it was out of warranty. I asked when I bought it and he said it didn't show up. He "guessed because it's out of warranty". I still don't know if it was still in warranty and I could have gotten a replacement. I feel like I was duped and left very frustrated. If I was duped I'm out $178 for a battery. If I could give a 2.5 star I would.

I want to take this time out to really appreciate one of the Managers there at Adavance Auto on Coit Road man I want y all to show some love and respect for Cassius he is a very professional manager who has been involved in mechanics for decades and knows what you need. I went there to that store about 3 times and every time I ask him about an issue with what I needed for as parts and what s my issue he always has the awnser to my needs. Also he is a honest individual and willing to go the extra mile to help you on exactly what s your problem weather if it s helpful or a heart dropping becus he knows the dos and the donts about parts and giveing the important awnser you need. I want to say thanks to Cassius for helping me out with my mechanical questions being a professiona customer server as manager at Advance Auto on Coit Road Plano txt

I was here today and Erick and Greg were very helpful. My key fob was broken and I was planning to have a replacement from Dealership but Erick gave me a quick fix which fixed my fob and saved me a lot of $$$$. He actually went out of his way to do so.I appreciate the staff !

I went for a check engine light code diagnosis. First they did it for free. Then March assisted me by identifying it and when I went back days later for a change in engine air filter, she assisted me with a smile and suggested for a quick fix. Helpful team..

I've been in this store 10 times over the years. In the past month, the surliness of the people working there has become unbelievable. They want to argue about everything. They act like you are a nuisance. They act like they're doing you a favor. Well, enough with that. Until this place gets its stuff together in the employee attitude department, I'm done with them.

Having been in store for question & assistance when I need to buy something. The associate is not willing to help much . Then once I bought items, he refused to help me install them & directed me to go to car shop / oil change place next to his store .I have previously bought items from Autozone and O Riley, those guys are much more friendly & helpful to help me, installed & recommendations.If I d have known this is how they advertised & personnel in store are not customer friendly. If it were busy, I d totally understand. But this was at 7:38 to be exactly when no other customers around at all.Please advice & id never go back. This was my second bad experiences w/ AAP. Once was in Garland store & today was at this store. Never again guys.

Bought a battery charger to jump my truck. The car didn t crank apparently due to the cranking amps so I had to get another one that worked. Came back to the store two days later and was refused a return of the item l.

Very pleased at service and assistance. Immediatly greeted and door held as I was walking in. Another staff asked how they could help and directed me correct area. A third staff came the back aisle to help me find the particular item from Rislone that I was looking for.We found it together, as they have a very large selection. Store was clean and organized. Even has a Veterans discount for us former service members. It's a full 5 report. Hit the four by accident.

They have light bulbs for the cluster illumination (behind the dash) for a 1995 Isuzu. Try that. Great store! Thank you, March!
