I took my Hyundai sonata 2015 in and was greeted with a smile. Chris the manager was very knowledgeable and communicated with me every step of the way. I paid a fair price and they serviced the vehicle quickly! Would recommend!

Ask Chris anything! He takes the time to listen to all concerns and provides expert advice on the best course of action for fixing vehicle's issues. His knowledge and professionalism instills confidence that your car will be in good hands. I just wanted to say that where so many shops that I have pursued repairs at failed, AAMCO was a profound success. Wonderful easy to deal with, the manager Chris was absolutely informative and easy to reach. I have tried so many other places to get my vehicle repaired and it being a big job (an engine swap) many other either just dropped the work in the middle of it creating a huge fiasco or just downright rejected the job completely.Much thanks to all the participating technicians and mechanics who are responsible for getting me back on the road at AAMCO!

My car got towed first to an another mechanic shop and was told that I had transmission issues that would cost $5000+ to do a rebuilt including getting an axel fixed. I got a second opinion here at Aamco and was told they would definitely not charge that much if that s the problem and will tow my car free of charge if it is a transmission problem. They looked at my car and fixed the CV AXEL. My car was running like normal. I didn t even need my transmission rebuilt! I appreciate Chris & crew for the enormous weight they helped lift off me and my family! Definitely will refer family & Friends!

I don t go to any other shop because the quality of work Chris and his team do. They fixed the custom lighting on my truck and all the wiring is neatly hidden

I moved from Addison to Plano about a year ago and finally found a great shop for my care care. I had been going to the same place for 20 years, but the owner retired and closed up his garage. AAMCO s GM, Chris has been great to work with and I plan to make this my new garage going forward!

This is a great place to take your car for repair. They are well organized and try to get your car in and out as fast as they can. Prices are very competitive and their work is excellent.

Just had to take my 2018 Chevy Silverado for a transmission repair, and back in September of 2013 had my transmission done for my ford focus. Had great service both times. Reasonably priced and very precessional. Definitely would recommend!

Great place to get your vehicle fixed! I had my transmission rebuilt here and they did a great job and in record time! My F150 runs great again. Then they fixed an electrical problem I had with another car that even Nissan wasn't able to figure out. Chris and his guys definitely know their stuff!

Chris the manager made everything go smoothly since beginning explaining everything did not get frustrated when asked many questions always responded with a good attitude.Him and his team are great and honest they also finish the job very fast.

Excellent service and outstanding experienced staff. I must ve called a dozen places and nobody could beat the quote I was given from Rahim. The dealership wanted to replace my entire transmission for almost $2,000.00 more than it took to rebuild it from AAMCO. My research told me that the torque converter was the culprit which was confirmed by Rahim and Cris. These guys are making fixes the dealerships aren t doing with a good warranty offer. AAMCO was a big name when I was growing up around the race track and this location is keeping up with that tall reputation.

This company is full with nothing but crooks, paid 5k for transmission service just to have my truck taken because the same transmission went out 2 months later and was stuck with another 5k bill. Then truck was sold with my plates on it and now whoever the new crook is, is running up tolls and doing whatever under my name. Now reporting stolen plates, call the company and they are very unprofessional people. I'd give them a NEGATIVE star if it was available. Terrible place

STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS POSSIBLE. THESE CROOKS WILL PURPOSELY RUIN YOUR CAR IF YOU DON'T LET THEM SCAM YOU INTO PAYING FOR MORE WORK THEN AGREED UPON.Would give 0 stars if it was an option.This is not a fake review. I see you say that to anyone calling out your scams. Just because you don't like the reviews does not make them false. Aamco on K Avenue in Plano. Is the location we went to. Chris was the person who was A. rude and B. a scammer. You lie, you don't communicate and have horrible customer service.

had a great experience here when I was worried about a leak, Chris is very personable. they checked out my vehicle same day and when it turned out to just be a loose oil filter they tightened it up and sent me on my way for free. especially as a female who doesn t know much about cars, i really appreciate the respectfulness and goodwill. will definitely be back next time my car needs service

I took my 2020 ford fusion in a few weeks ago so my suspension could get fixed. I took it in on a Thursday and got a quote either same day or early the day after, I can t quite remember but they reached back out fast! The work was done in a few days and it was honest. The staff let me know exactly what was wrong and helped me get right back on the road. I recommend this place to anyone. These guys are honest and reliable! Thank you guys so much for fixing my car! (A little side note, I m not from around the area, so I don t have a reliable place that I trust to work on my car around dfw, but I really needed to get my car fixed and I winged it choosing AAMCO, but they left me RELIEVED after they returned my car. This place is a huge scam. Please don t make the mistake I did and give these guys your money thinking they re going to rebuild or fix your transmission. I even took it back to them and they tried to say it was another issue then made me tow my vehicle to another mechanic just for him to prove they were wrong (provided pictures and videos).I tried reaching out to corporate to complain and not only was it extremely difficult to get someone on the phone, but they said there s nothing they could do since it was considered a franchise .Please beware taking your car here! HUGE SCAM!!

I highly recommend this place! I have had two car worked on here. And chris wrnt above and beyond to work work with me and make sure my vehicles were taken care of. Great customer service and super fast! 10/10

Chris greeted me right away and took my car in. He was super friendly and explained everything to me. They do have a waiting area with Wi-Fi but my car was going to be a half day service so I didn t stay. They were fair and honest in their pricing. Much cheaper than going to a dealer I would say by half. Even cheaper than another shop that I went to near my home.

These guys are honest!I took my car in to see if the transmission was worth fixing as it was starting to make a noise. Chris gave me a price for a rebuilt transmission installed so I decided to fix it. That locally sourced transmission had a problem and could not be used.A second rebuilt transmission was located but at a cost I was not willing to pay.They put my car back together and charged me NOTHING!These guy are honest and I highly recommend AAmco. Ask for Chris; you will not be disappointed!

AAMCO Transmission Plano provides outstanding service. When my 1992 Volvo 240 needed a transmission replacement and parts could not be found, they helped me locate a good used one and installed it for a very reasonable price. Now it runs like new! Recently the fixed a Speed Sensor that had caused my ABS and transmission to malfunction. I highly recommend them for all your car repairs!

Chris is great at working on my Amg. He put in a new transmission when the old one blew up. He also did countless repairs and upgrades to her. I will always go back to Chris with any of my car needs!

I took my truck to two transmission repairs shop. Both of those establishments did a horrible job repairing my transmission. I was at the point of giving up and selling my truck. I gave it one my shot and called AAMCO of Plano. I'm overjoyed that I made that call. They diagnosed the problem quickly and repaired my transmission flawlessly. I have recommended them to my friends and family. If you need your transmission done the right way the first time. Please give them a call!

Don't bring your vehicle here! They are dishonest and unprofessional! The customer service is horrible. The manager Chis is a Jerk that yells at women. Don't be fooled by the stupid grin he smacks on his face. I had my car towed there on a Friday. I was told they could check it out the same day and had no intention of doing so. Did I mention they are closed on the weekends. Then I was given a bogus diagnostic, when they had not even moved my car from where it was towed. The owner tied to save face by not charging me for it. Even though they never really did one in the first place. They listed parts I didn't even need and added all kind of services charges ! I went to another shop right down the street and paided $3500 less than what they quoted! I also had to have a tier rode replaced because their tow truck company bent mine. These people are crooks don't waste your time or money!

My 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 had a severe issue with transmission. I called dealer, well they were no use. I called Aamco and they explained everything that could be wrong with my trucks transmission. Then they told me how they would rebuild better than it was. So got truck towed to the Aamco on ave K in Plano. Dropped off on Tuesday had truck Friday afternoon. They called with updates. This was the best experience ever when dealing with an issue on a vehicle. The staff is top notch, Chris, manager very cordial and knows his transmissions. I am beyond happy with this shop. 1000 stars to them!Service: Transmission

First off I want to say Chris and his crew was amazing from responsiveness, reassurance, knowledge, repair and turnaround time. My car was in and out within a week of a transmission replacement on my 2010 Mercedes E550. A couple days was even due to me determining on what route I wanted to go with parts so really less than a week. Chris was patient, informative and was comfortable with going my own route with my own parts. Pricing was well more than reasonable, I will definitely use AAMCO for any of needs 10/10 would recommend.Service: Transmission

Clutch kit and flywheel installation was fast, also diagnostics were as well!!! The manager Chris is honest about what needs to be repaired and also keeps you informed. I had two other shops tell me my transmission needed to be rebuilt or upgraded when in fact it didn't. I'm very impressed with this shop. Shops like these are very hard to find, literally a diamond in the ruff!!! Thank Y'all for everything!!!!!
