We ve been here for a little over three months. Kind of sad to be leaving....this park is clean and well kept up. There s a ton of cable channels (70+), strong wifi, strong phone service, good water pressure, and multiple dumpsters throughout the park. We have NEVER had to wait for the grass to be mowed, which if you travel with work for extended periods, the way we do, is a HUGE plus! Another plus is this summer, we endured several nights of never ending rain (2-4 ) and surprisingly enough this park never flooded. We had friends staying out near the highway and their park was a big nasty mud hole, after even the smallest rain storm. This is a nice quiet park, with a fair amount of shade trees, picnic tables and some rv spaces even have carports. The owner seems to be a pretty good guy, he s very attentive and he waits for then welcomes every person who comes in, and he really goes out of his way to help them park. I HIGHLY recommend staying here. If/when we venture back through Plainview, this will be where we will stay!

Absolutely the best RV park that we have stayed at in our two years of being mobile. The park is always clean and QUIET! I cannot emphasize enough how quiet and peaceful this park was. Robert was kind and you could always find him making improvements to the property. You re making the right choice by staying at Shady Lane!-Jake & Kristi

Needed a place to stay the night after getting a tire repair made. RV park is part full time and overnight. One of the cleanest and nicest we have stayed in. Spacious, level, gravel spot. Quiet. And one of the most important things for us - bathrooms were spotless! A hidden gem in the Panhandle!

This place is very clean and I highly recommend. The owner is always working to improve the place and always able to reach, unlike the other options in that town.I was there 2 months and I loved it

Great location and service from this place! The arrangement of the lots and surrounding area minimizes the affects of the high winds encountered in some parts of the year. The grass is green and well maintained, with some shade and picnic spots available. They are more than willing to help accommodate your needs and concerns if any arise, and have storm shelters throughout the property in case of emergency. If I was passing through again, I would look up this place first for a spot to spend the night if not longer!

This is a fantastic park. I have stayed here in my travel trailer and in a cabin. The spots are easy to pull in to and hookups are great. The cabin is well furnished and comfortable.Overall, the grounds are very nice and there is obviously a lot of care and time put in to maintaining the facilities. The customer service is outstanding. Everything is handled diligently and the owner is very nice. He is always willing to help and is super friendly.

The owner Robert is lovely and very helpful. The majority of the RV spots are very big, they even have trees and grass, which is really hard to find in West Texas. The other RV park in the area, the spots aren't as good and there is no trees or grass. I would definitely recommend this RV park over that one. A lot of our friends ended up moving from the other RV park to this one when there was a spot available. You can get your mail sent to the front office, electric is reasonable and the prices are great. They have cable, they also have internet however the internet for me personally wasn't too great.

This is one of the best kept and cleanest RV park that I have ever been too. The grounds were so clean and it seemed like the owner really took care of the property. It was so quiet staying here and that made for a great nights sleep. Also if there was ever an issue the owner was right on it and extremely helpful with everything. I am definitely planning on staying here on my next adventure.

I'm a traveling technician that travels all over the U.S. so I've been to quite a few spots. This RV park tops them all. Internet was fast, easy to maneuver in and out, the facilities are very clean and maintained, water lines never freeze, and the owner is very helpful. 10 out of 10

Very pleased with Shady lane tv park! My husband travels for work and has dealt with some not so great places. Not the case here! The owner, Robert, is very friendly and helpful. I ve sent packages to my husband and Robert makes sure he gets them. A package I sent was delivered after my husband left, Robert was kind enough to hold it for him until he returned. All and all a great place to stay!

Really quiet area and even quieter residents. Nothing much to do but the park itself is amazing and the bathrooms are brand new! Extra clean, heated, inviting private bathrooms with showers inside.

Absolute Best place to stay for anyone visiting the area, whether you are just passing through, working on the road, or just looking for a cool spot to settle down and relax for a while, this is that spot. My family and I stayed here for a few months while working on a project in Plainview and our time here was remarkable. Always clean, great atmosphere, the coolest people, Pet friendly, quiet and peaceful, full hookups including cable TV and Fast wifi, mail delivery, very convenient proximity to town, and all around amazing guest service. The Owner, Robert, is constantly upgrading and maintaining everything within the park and is extremely attentive to each and every guest and makes you feel at home in every way. Highly Recommend staying here!!!!

I lived at Shady Lane RV park for almost three years and was sad to leave. However, retirement called and it was time to move closer to family. The park is quiet, clean, and well maintained. Robert Jones, the owner, is always ready to lend a helping hand and works hard to make sure guests are treated with respect. If I ever need a place again in Plainview to park my travel trailer, Robert will be the first person I call.

Had an amazing stay! Plans changed so I ended up driving in late to the RV site and the owner was kind enough to wait for me and kept contact with me to reassure me he would be there to help me set up. Any time I had any questions or concerns he was always available, amenities were great, place was clean and gave you an immense sense of comfort. Will definitely stay again while driving thru Texas. Great place!

This is a great RV park, very well kept, clean and quiet. After running late on our long trip from Denver the owner was very patiently waiting for us and was very welcoming and helpful. We highly recommended this park and would definitely stay here again.

We had rough travel experience in the 700+ miles trek with only 89 more to go. (Several blow outs one right after the other and our Chihuahua locked us out from the vehicle pulling! Tires installed earlier not G rated for RV.)Shady Lane RV Park had an opening so we could relax for the night. Robert, the Park Owner/Manager, was friendly and thorough on explaining the amenities with us being short notice/drive by! WOW. I hope to move here in the coming months. Super clean at each site. Large lots. They have areas for your pets to do their business and provide the pick up bags and trash receptacles. Quiet and Comfortable. They even have an underground storm shelter in the center! Cable TV, WiFi, water and sewer hook-up included. Electric sub-metered for long term. Some sites have carports and fencing so you have a private yard. Long term of course.Because we are just a night stay this time, we got a pull through site that includes a long picnic table and grill and fit both our trucks and the 40' Montana. Hard to find anywhere!A warm and cozy feeling here. Affordable for me anyways. Price is comparable as all others in the State. Easy access both directions from main road. It's perfect in my opinion. (Not a Resort Park, a Neighborly Community!)Wished work was closer today and not later on! That's why I said I want to live here later. Looking forward to it.

Stayed at the park in June. We stayed in a cabin (it was more like a cottage!). The cabin was so quaint and beautiful, and fully furnished! The park was clean and very peaceful. Will definitely stay there again.

Since moving from Colorado 4 months ago, We decided to settle at Shady Lane RV park in Plainview Texas. We couldn t be happier. Robert Jones, the owner and proprietor keeps the park emasculate. The park sets outside the city, and is very quiet, and well lit at night.Robert is very helpful, anything we need, he takes care of it immediately. If anyone wants a good, clean, quiet place to park and live in the Shady Lane RV park , or just passing through, Robert will make you feel very welcome.

Pros: nice people managing, lots of trees, long-term slots have carports.Cons: no shower/toilet facilities, close to noisy road (as are most RV parks). Our typical mode is to use our camper trailer potty for #1 and the park's facilities for #2. This is the first park I've come across that has absolutely no potties or showers available. The owner says they will be adding them in the future but be sure to ask about it if a bath house is a necessity for you.I think this place is probably awesome for long-term stays but we were just looking for a one-night place to park, sleep and get ready the next morning and I would not return unless they had added a bath house.
