I just had the most terrible experience with the bus drive today, Saturday 1st October with the Dallas line Amarillo 8am - Lubbock 10:10am. I ve been on many buses & never have I had such an unhelpful encounter before. She was very rude from the start, I had a ticket on my phone & was loading my bags with my friend/lawyer but she told me to take them out. I needed to add an extra bag to my ticket, there was no one at the service desk to help us & she said they don t take cash but I have to do it with a credit card but apparently it wouldn t allow me to do it now which was an absolute lie. I was asking for help about what I should do but she didn t help at all. I was the only one that couldn t get on the bus. Looking into the details I found that I could in fact add another bag to my ticket & bought an extra bulky baggage to my ticket. The bus had already left but saw that the bus stopped in Plainview so I was driven to that bus stop to try get on the bus. We got to the bus stop 16min before the bus was suppose to depart at 9:20am (the tickets mentioned 15min before departure time) but as it was pulling into the stop, when she saw us, she drove away & departed way before 9:20am. In total I paid USD 66.97 for a trip I wasn t able to use due to the very bad treatment from the bus driver. I have another trip the follow day 2nd October Lubbock 9:10am to San Antonio arriving 6:20pm & about to add a bulky baggage to my trip which would be USD 70.98 plus $29.99 for the bulky baggage so $100.97 for October 2nd. I don t believe I should pay for $66.97 trip & for the the October 2nd trip I m not even sure is going to be worth the $100.97 so I request a full refund. I will submit another feedback/complaint form for ticket to San Antonio. If I had any idea that I would receive this kind of treatment, I would avoid the bus company & definitely not be suggesting this service to anyone.

Enjoyed the not having to drive part. Surprisingly comfortable, it wasn't too bad. Everyone was respectful.

I wonder if Geryhound executives ride the bus. I doubt they would endure what others must go through here. I have to wait here at a convience store for an 11:35 p.m. bus in the cold because the store closes at 10:00 p.m. Greyhound could at the very least make sure their customers are comfortable while waiting for the bus. I don't think it's too much to ask for indoor seating especially when the temprature drops below freezing.

This stop is outside at a gas station / food mart. Rental car company is located next door.
