The last couple times I ve taken trucks there to get inspected for the state inspection. They literally drain coolant out of your coolant reservoir and leave your vehicle overheat. Not even sure why they touch it. Shady business stay away. Both times literally happened the same day after they had the truck no prior leaks or issues and I filled up the reservoir and there s no other issues. Strange Strange Strange

We arrived early so we only had one car ahead. The service was exceptional. They were friendly and wanted to ensure our safety since we had to exit the vehicle for a tire rotation. A nail was found in 2 tires and they easily took care of it. The waiting room was comfortable with a bathroom. You can see them working on your vehicle clearly from the waiting room which is nice. I recommend this location if you re looking around.

Went in for an oil change at the Limestone location, and after sitting in the waiting room, was told that they don't have the correct oil filter for my truck. I was told to try the Round Rock location because they were bigger, and might have the necessary filter.I worksix days a week and didn't feel like driving from location to location hoping to get an oil change.

Today I stopped by for a quick oil change. This location was busy but with the help of Ariel he was able to manage the cars coming in and help out his team to have a smooth and productive work flow. Ethan helped out with checking my air filter and other parts under the hood. Simon was also part of the team and was a big help. The entire team in the shop kept an open communication about what was going on in each bay. The communication is essential for the safety of the workers and the customers. I would definitely come back for an oil change. Thank y all!

Ryan, Adrian and Josh did an exceptional job completing my oil change and state inspection all within 20 mins. Expedited but thorough service! Would most definitely recommend and I appreciate the no pressure, informative recommendations for maintaining my vehicle. Thank you for the assistance!

Only good thing was that they got me in right away and finished quick.I asked for an oil change, for all my liquids to be checked, and for my tire pressure to be measured, since I'm taking a long trip.When I got back I asked how the fluids were looking, for which he answered "I don't know" which is not an okay response to a customer unless it's followed by a "but let me find out" I told him I needed to know and I had specifically asked for that... and his answer was "my guess is that they are fine..." so I never got told. When I got my bill they had also not checked my tire pressure (which they even advertise that they will do..) the bill was about $20 higher that other places, and to top it off, he tells me I need my oil changed in another 3000 miles due to the type of car I have... I tell him that that is odd cause iv specifically been told otherwise by other places and dealerships (and I confirmed with Google afterwards, that that simply isn't even close to correct) but he insisted... seems like something you try to tell people to get more money out of them.All in all bad experience.

I'm conflicted about the review because last time I was here for an oil change, I was able to get in and out. 5 quarts of Fully synthetic for $71 with taxes.This time around I was expecting something similar but even with a coupon, it was almost $93 for a 6 year old Kia Niro. Now I'm curious, turned out I actually can't look up the prices online and it only states that prices are 30-50% less than at the dealer. Well, I just received my dealer regular priced service letter which listed oil change for 10% less than the price I was charged. Not to mention that the dealer was running a 50% off so I really feel like I overpaid for this oil change.Not sure what to make of this pricing strategy. You may have to call this store before coming in and around so you don't get buyers remorse like I am now.Will get my inspection at the dealer from now on along with the annual oil change.Sad to leave great service...

We had a great experience our first time here so we went back. We had a completely different experience the second time. We got there at opening with one car infront of us. In total it took them 2 hours to change our oil. One employee was trying his best, going back and forth between all of the cars trying to get them finished. Three other employees were discussing weekend plans, dancing, and eating chips the entire time we had our hood open. The employee that was actually working remarked, "I need you guys working on cars, not standing around." Unfortunately it didn't help. Huge waste of our time. We won't be back to this location again.Service: Oil change

Quick and easy oil change with technicians that knew what they were doing. Ariel was especially helpful and let us know about an issue with a drain plug that had been damaged by another oil change vendor we had used prior. Ariel and the other technicians fixed the plug and got us on our way. Much appreciated. We will definitely be coming back for future service.

This stone hill location is the best ! The way the entire team operates is very impressive. A gentleman named ARIEL not only has GREAT customer service skills, but can also hold the fort down ! Dude kills it. Would recommend Ariel to anyone.

Good fast oil change, and they do state inspections too. Friendly guys who have a very mild approach to upselling. Which is nice when everyone else is pushing you to take your money. I will certainly be going back for both of my cars.

I went to get my third oil change from this location, never had any problems before but this time they asked me if I have the drain plug cam lock. What??? Then they explain to me that they have changed their policy on reusing the old drain plugs and replace them with a new one every time now. I said great, so are you asking me to supply you with the drain plug? He said yeah we don t have any. Maybe I should bring my own oil and filters next time as well!! If you have a 2020 or later F150 I would try some place else.

Went up this evening to get my truck inspected. Was not a single car in the shop, in fact had to wait for someone to come talk to me after honking horn, and getting out of truck to yell hello. Was told the they were short staffed, and manager would not allow them to do it to give priority to oil change customers. As I drove away, I noticed the people supposed to be working were over on an adjacent parking lot looking under the hood of a friends vehicle. This has not been first time I have seen this ! This was strike three for me, focus is definitely not where it should be as I counted at least three people in uniform away from the store. On Tuesday, 5/30/23 I went to Valvoline of Pflugerville as returning customer to get an oil change for my 2019 Chevy Equinox. My car is in excellent condition with less than 30k miles on it. I only use the car on the weekends, so the car is as good as new. Bryan, a very young, unexperienced employee asked me to pop the hood open to check what kind of oil the car takes. Any experienced mechanic would know that my car uses high performance synthetic oil just by looking at the make & model. After he confirmed the obvious, he proceeded to slam my hood several times. He ende up damaging the cable that pulls the latch to keep the hood latched. There was obvious damage done to the cable. His manager, Ryan called me today to tell me that after reviewing the video his employee was not at fault & that they were not responsible for the damage done to my vehicle. I thought that a returning customer I would get a better treatment. Ryan basically called me to blame me for the damage. He was bluntly accusing me of trying to pull a fast one n his shop. He told me that the damage was previously done, but how is that possible, if I arrived their without my hood popping open on me, which is what logically would've happened if the hood was not latching properly. Do not go to Valvoline of Pflugerville. They are terrible. They don't take care of their loyal customers!Service: Oil change

I was going to eat at IHOP and decided that I'd get my car inspected while I ate. I pulled over to Valvoline and waited. No one acknowledged me. I might have waited about 5 minutes, and then another car pulled up. The technician went right to his vehicle. I pulled out and went to eat and will be going to another facility. Even if they couldn't get to my car immediately, they should acknowledge me and see what I needed. Customer service is really lacking these days and it's a shame.

These guys really do work hard. They take what they do seriously. It's not just a "quick" oil change, they take the time to check everything but with efficiency. Also very friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend for anyone in the area, as a note I've brought my diesel Denali here and my wife's car. I get all my oil changes done at this location and for good reason.The manager, Ryan, and his staff truly go out of their way to make sure you're helped, even if that means directing your business elsewhere to help you save money or being bent over in the cold for over an hour working on your vehicle.I came to this location a few days prior for an oil change and also needing a headlight replaced. I left with the oil change, a (much needed) new battery, but no headlight because they hadn't any in stock. Over the next couple days I tried desperately to get my headlight replaced at other autoshops but to no avail because the holidays had them backed up and was told that I would've had to leave it at one of these autoshops for at least 5 hours before they could even get to it. This did not work for me so I went ahead and bought the new headlights myself, tried one more bodyshop, once again to no avail, before returning to this Valvoline location and asking if they could spare the time to replace the headlight and that I would pay for the labor or buy some other service to make up for it. Ryan waved all this off, immediately remembering me from the days prior, and saying he'd do it for free. He did this in freezing cold weather, all the while making friendly conversation, answering any questions his coworkers had, and directing other customers into bays so they could be worked on. And due to my vehicle (08 saturn aura) being special... what sounded like a quick 15minute deal ended up being Ryan working on my vehicle like this for an hour, once again... free of charge.I will be back for my all my oil changes in the future and for once actually on time because of this.Thank you again truly.

Jeremiah and his team were professional, polite, patient and kind. I usually dread getting things done to my car but they explained things clearly and didn t make me feel like I was being taken advantage of. They inspired TRUST, how great is that?!
