After having to deal with being hit by an uninsured driver, and being met with the situation of having a 17 year old beautiful car that I have painstakingly taken care of to the fullest, I was met with my insurance company wanting to total my car. I was really hoping for an experience with a body shop that did not upset me even more.From the time I showed up to drop my car off, to the time I picked it back up, Mr Shawn Swain made sure that the experience I was hoping to get from Maaco was met with 5 stars. Mr. Swain answered every question, was completely upfront with every detail, and is one of the most courteous gentlemen I have every had the pleasure of meeting. Maacos prices are super competitive, and bringing it to them saved my car from being totaled. In being completely honest I was really worried about the quality of work I would receive given how competitive the pricing was. But in the end, all of my fears were put to rest the moment I saw the result.Maaco, you have a real asset in Shawn Swain and level of service he provides. He represents your company to a 5 star status. He was my contact from start to finish, always put me at ease, and there were never any surprises. Value the employees you have that represent your company as it it were their own. Those employees are priceless.

Needed the front bumper cover on my Ram repainted after years of driving began to show some wear and tear. Went by for a quick estimate, Albert had me in and out. I removed the cover myself and dropped it off on Monday, had it back a couple days later. It looks brand new, paint matched perfectly, cost was exactly what Albert quoted and completed on time. Also had my fender flares punted to match at another location a couple years ago and they still look great too. This is why I came back. Great service, quality product and much lower cost than most shops charge. Sometimes less $ doesn t mean an inferior product or lesser service.

Update: $1600 paint coming off within 11 months. Should ve spent my money elsewhereDropped off my car for paint repair, pretty happy with their communication and patience of answering questions. Mr. Shawn Swain was kind enough to attain me even though I arrived 10 minutes later after office closing hours.Let s hope for the best how the final result turns out.!!

This review is for a Premium Service paint job on a Pearl White Lexus IS 350,which also had lot of rock chips on the front end, and needed the front bumper changed and painted to the same color.Customer Service: I dealt primarily with Shawn Swain. He was courteous, friendly yet upfront about the costs, the work involved, the time it would take, and answered emails and text messages. He assessed the car and took notes of all the chips, dents etc. Did not try to sell me anything extra. Explained all the options and let me decide what I wanted. 5 starsActual Paint job: Took 2 weeks and the whole car was painted (except door jambs), rock chips and dents fixed, Bumper changed and painted to match. The job was really good, with even coverage, a little bit over spray in the wheel wells, but overall had a great finish .The first round they did leave out some rock chips, but the second round, that was rectified. Other Maaco's have very hit or miss reputations, but here it is certainly a hit. 4.5 starsAfter Care service. They honor their warranty. Had some chips which needed some more care, after taking charge of the car after the paint job. Shawn obliged and had the car taken in again, and did the work as soon as the bay was available. The hood chips were filled and then the whole hood was repainted. The work was covered by the warranty, so no extra charge at all. 5 stars.Yes, I'd recommend them to anyone locally or visiting from afar (as I was. Toronto).

Albert was great to work with. He gave me several options and answered all my questions. I'm very pleased with the results. My new bumper had a light not working, and they fixed it immediately.

Albert and Shawn are wonderful! The customer service they provided was attentive and professional. The pricing at Maaco cannot be beat and they did a great job repainting my truck. Highly recommend!

Came in to get my hood pained, met Albert on Saturday for an estimate, and he was amazing. Great customer service, great communication, and the epitome of what customer service should be. Better than every quote I got, would recommend, 10/10 would definitely come back if I needed my truck painted again.

Maaco paint and Body shop did an excellent job on our church van. Shawn was an amazing person who assisted us with getting the van taken care of in a timely manner. His professional and business like attitude provided solid leadership and advice which made it easy for us to make our decision in choosing Maaco

UPDATE: I was asked by an employee to update this review so here I am. Unfortunately I have nothing but more disappointment to add. On top of this job taking ridiculously long I am also not happy with the work. The headlight they replaced does not work, the paint has drips in several places, and they got paint on the window. Nothing about this experience has been pleasant and the work is sub-par in comparison to both the Service King and Caliber Collision repairs that have been done on this same vehicle in the past. -Using Maaco for collision repair on my 2008 Honda Civic, covered by my insurance. Was told they were ready for me, bring it on down, it'll be 2-8 weeks. I have received ZERO communication except when they wanted money the first week I dropped it off. $ was supposedly in order to get the jump on ordering parts. Parts that I was told we were still "waiting on" 5 weeks later. When they wanted money they were calling every day, now that I want information or status updates i receive the run-around for WEEKS, am told someone will call me back and it never happens. I have also been told we were waiting for supplements from the insurance that my agent confirmed were not sent to them until over a week after I was told this. I've been told that if I want information on what supplements are being added I should talk to my insurance, um no it's my car you can communicate with ME! My car has been at Maaco for over SIX WEEKS and I was told today that work is BARELY beginning on the car. My car is already broken down for work and they have received multiple payments from myself and my insurance company so I am now at their will on when they feel like getting to it, which is obviously the case as I was essentially told straight up the ball was dropped and my car was put on the back burner. I am not sure if they are just accepting too many jobs or if they just decided that I was an easy target to take advantage of, but if they weren't able to source the parts, or find time for the work, etc. its very easy to say no to a job or pick up the phone and communicate. I could have used another repair shop. I have worked with several other shops with this same vehicle and never had such a horrible experience. Use another shop!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

My van looks amazing! I picked a candy red! It had chips and vinyl stuck on it when I bought it in but those were all fixed & the paint looks smooth & great in those areas i was concerned about. Albert took the time to explain the whole process and the difference in the paint options available. He answered all of my questions and everything turned out perfect! It was finished on the day they promised. They also detailed it! The two Sean's that work there also helped me with questions i had about some other projects needed. Everyone at the shop pulls together and is an amazing team in my opinion. I highly recommend them!

The shop returned our car with dust and debris all over inside and outside. Even the trunk was dirty. Very poor service as the wheel covers are bent and not fixed properly. When asked about the dust and debris, they responded that all windows were rolled down during the entire duration of 2 weeks in the shop and hence the dirt. would not recommend this shop to anyone.

Don't use Macco for any auto body/painting needs. I didn't consider the other reviews when I used this shop to repair my car and I should have. Don't make the same mistake. Maaco had my car almost 80 days, no one called with updates at all, it got to the point where i would call 3x a week, following up on email and resorted to driving to Macco because I was tired of the run around only to see next to no work had been done in the 70+ days it was there as you can see in the pictures from my drop in. It's one thing to provide poor service, zero communication but to out right lie and deceive someone is a specific kind of low.I was finally able to get my car back after many attempts to speak with the owner, reaching out to corporate and driving to Macco to wait to speak to someone. When I finally got my car back it was an absolute nightmare. They managed to spray paint into the seats inside the car, the tint was scratched, there was damage to the back side of the car AND they put the window panel on with some kind of cheap glue. The owner happened to be at the shop and I was able to finally go over all the issues experienced as well as show him all the mistakes and damage to the car. The fact that they were willing to just hand me back my car promising it was "ready" knowing it wasn't ready and in worse shape vs how i gave it to them pre-accident.The cherry on top of this entire experience is the fact that they let me know at pick up (70+ days after i dropped it off) that even though they had the running boards for my car for weeks maybe a month they just opened the box and it was the wrong part. I ended up having to leave the car there and come back for it the next day for the damage repairs, then return it a week later once the correct running boards came in.Please save yourself the nightmare of doing business here, i sure wish i would have.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Nice work and they stood by their warranty. I had my bumpers and mirror's painted black. A black overspray issue was resolved when I took the car back. I would have given 5 stars otherwise, but they was very polite and helpful in their customer service.

***DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE***Before & After picturesBrought my 1972 Chevelle here in October of 2021. Owner has very inexperienced people working for him. Too many customers and not enough workers. He is hiring entry level employees with very little knowledge. Unfortunately he can not keep people hired here and resorting to my vehicle not being finished. Pictures of the before and after are below. I brought it in to do a color match for the (hood) & decidd to do the whole car. From the front staff to the techs to the owner. They were all inexperienced with how to handle this. I was left with flaking bondo work, an incomplete job & probably more damage done to the vehicle under the primer. Ahmed is the owner. Do yourself the favor and choose wisely do not make the mistake I did.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Everyone at this location was very helpful. I was nervous but also excited to get my old, paint-peeling minivan a new paint job. When I signed my paperwork, I was informed they would even be detailing the interior, which was awesome! I did pay extra to get my headlights cleaned up (they were so yellowed and almost pointless). When I saw my van finished, I couldn't believe it... I was driving away with a new car!! It looked amazing - even without getting any body repair done. I had no idea how good it would really look in the end. The interior looked better than it had in years too!! They did a great job and while it took a couple of days longer than I expected, it was worth the wait. So glad I got it done there!!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

They did an amazing job painting my car and they exceeded my expectations! My car looks brand new due to the excellent paint job that they did. I called and made an appointment for an estimate and it was super easy and quick. As soon as I came in, I was greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff. They respected my decision that I only wanted a paint job and not fix the hail/dent damages. The turnover time was quick and they have been keeping me informed on the status. For instance, they did a great job explaining different steps in the progress such as masking, sanding, etc. Thank you for taking good care of my car and I will be back for future needs.Service: Painting

Well I had been considering just biting the bullet and getting a new car (which I can t really afford) so I decided to look one more time. My first 3 estimates were $4500, $5,000 and $6,000. Then I remembered a place in Florida that had an excellent reputation, and in looking them up saw that they have a branch in Pflugerville! Woohoo. Got an online estimate, and it was HALF my lowest bid. So, I decided to have them fix a small dent in the door! Out the door $3,000! Warranty included . Base coat and clear coat included. These dudes are newer and aim to please. Albert was patient and throurough, and the primary tech was always there to answer all questions throughout the process.What a breath of fresh air it brought to my car! And the price was definitely right. Can't recommend them enough. My daily commute got a whole lot brighter.
