Broke down on the side of the highway at night. Had to tow it there after hours. I didn t know, but there is a night drop off for your key you can fill out some info and they ll get back to you. Anyway, we called in the morning and talked with Don, and he got us taken care of. All we knew was oil pressure was low and we had seen oil leaking. Firestone got us in without an appointment around 12pm. Had us fixed and ready to go at like 12:30pm. I guess the oil pan plug wasn t put in all the way and had vibrated out. Luckily they were able to find the plug, put it back in and fill it back up with oil. I love that they were straightforward, didn t try to oversell us on anything and got us going quick! That was essentially because we are from out of town. I couldn t be happier with my experience.

Took my car for a tire rotation and balance and had an appointment for 8:30 and they finished around 11:15 which is almost 3 hours for an appointment. My problem is when I got a call saying that they recommended an oil change when I just had my oil changed 2 days ago. Then when I went to pick up my vehicle they had it under a Santa Fe instead of Lexus. Also on the recommendation receipt it says recommends a coolant exchange when I got it changed along with my oil 2 days ago. So when they recommended new tires their credibility was shot. Definitely felt like they were trying to take advantage and even though the tire recommendation may have been valid I d rather go elsewhere where I won t feel like they are trying to upcharge. Do not recommend

I want to say first that Firestone is my go to place for when my car needs work that I can't figure out myself. I have had few issues from my last location. I moved and this location is the closest to me so I thought I'd give them a try. I made an appointment online and Don called me back right away to verify things and was super friendly. Never met him but he seems nice.When I got there and told the person at the counter I had an appointment, they glared at me strangely like I was crazy. I sensed an annoyed vibe from this person. I saw they had a lot of cars to work on so maybe it was a long day, but still that was off putting. The next day I get a call about my car and they told me what they did in the diagnostics and it seemed like they checked everything and found the issue was my VVT. I replaced that and the oil a couple months ago so I guess I got a faulty one. It was a little too pricey for me right now for them to fix (almost $600 for VVT part and labor) so I declined the repairs and went to pick it up. All of that was fine, no complaints. Some places charge a lot for parts and labor. Guys at the counter were super friendly during checkout.I got my keys and turned on my vehicle and it sounded a little worse so I used my own OBD scanner and saw there were 6 new codes and the original code wasn't there anymore. So I drove my car home and it felt off. I popped the hood and checked the VVT and I saw that the top connection was disconnected. I checked the back one and that too was disconnected. They forgot to hook the wires back on after they tested it. Either it was human error and they forgot to double check once they installed it or they purposefully left it unhooked so that I would be forced to make repairs. I am hoping human error, but the connection stuck out like a sore thumb which makes me think otherwise. I plugged everything back in cleared the codes, and drove around for awhile. Car seems perfectly fine now and no code showed back up. I see some oil and some other liquids leaking from my car to the point it is pooling on the ground so that makes me think they didn't tighten it all the way or even worse.I heard bad things about this location from other locations and I gave them the benefit of the doubt and the first time I come here they do a poor job reinstalling the part they took out, and made me question if they care about our cars and us or making money. When you pick up your car and decline the services, it should be about the same as you brought it in, not worse.

Sam T. was incredibly helpful and kind to us. We were shaken up after we had a flat on the highway with our baby in the car and he was very sympathetic. He was understanding of our financial situation and helped us get the best price on a replacement tire. We are so grateful for him. Thank you Sam! We'll be back as soon as we can get the rest replaced!

When I came to you with a check engine light, you repaired it and the same day the light came back, and then you told me to take it to the Kia dealer who could only fix it, so why did you charge me?. My problem is, I have made other repairs to now there is no point in repairing the other one. Why did you charge me if you couldn't fix the problem? I will certainly leave a review on Google and other review sites..

Took my car in because the check engine light came on and wasn t drivable, within 4 hours they were able to diagnose the problem and get it back up and running again. Juan and his team were thorough with everything and very kind when I was having a bad day. Extremely grateful for them!

The experience was a waste of time and a complete rip-off. When the check engine light suddenly appeared on my dashboard, I stopped by a nearby Firestone. The person at the counter was rude and quoted $180 for an inspection, suggesting it might be a transmission issue without even conducting the inspection.He looked so sketchy and rude like he wanted me to get my transmission changed.I left and went to a nearby mechanic shop where they diagnosed and cleaned the throttle valve, and now my car is running perfectly.I pray to gods to help people avoid this place because you can t prosper in life by cheating and scamming helpless people.

I came for a quick air pressure check and asked one of the staff members there if they could fill it in. He said they would take a few minutes. He took the definition of few and stretched it pretty generously (which might not have been his fault since there was no one in the actual shop as shown in the pictures) Eventually, someone who seemed like the manager came out and helped me. I didn t even see the original staff member when I left. Overall the essence of this post and from what I ve read of other ones is that if you are looking for a timely experience, this is not where to get it.

I took my car there to have it repaired. Requested a tune up, that was off the top and to run a diagnostic on it. I was asked to drop it off on Sat morning.. got it there at 8 AM. Called at 230 and they had not had a chance to even look at it. Said they had called me. The phone they called was in the car and i gave them my home ph # for that very reason. they had not run the diagnostic on it at that time. I called them back, told me it was the catalytic convertor. Said they wouldn't get to it till Sunday or Monday. 2/3 days in their possession. The car was driveable. was advised the car was ready by 5. Got a ride there to pick it up. The tune up had not been done. only the diagnositc. And the car was still doing what it was doing when i took it in. idling hard and loud. I keep going back to speak to someone and keep getting referred to the store mgr. my car is no better/actually worse. if in idle the car will actually hit an idle so low that it dims the lights. Customer for 23 years +

Don't waste your time here. Went by last week to get my brakes inspected and the crew in the shop was horsing around while nobody was in the office to assist customers. The manager at this location will tell you that they charge $20 for a free brake inspection which all other firestones around the country do. Any good mechanic won't charge up front to check brakes as it takes less than 15 minutes to lift your vehicle on a hydraulic lift and less than a minute to take off your lugnuts with a torque wrench. Rush automotive or Lamb's auto or brake plus are significantly better end shops.with great honest staff.

Made an appointment for 2 pm and arrived on time. Waited 15 minutes in line only to not have them honor my appointment. I received a confirmation email, but could find it in my emails when I tried to check in. I don't even know why I bother with going to Firestone anymore. The last three visits have unsatisfactory and disappointing. I have always bought my tires, but my recent experiences leaving me not wanting to go back and give them another try.

This is go to place! Don, Juan and Manager Brandon!!! I highly recommend coming here!! They have helped me several times when they didn't have to!The level of professionalism is Awesome! Also they actually CARE!

I honestly wish I could give them 0 stars! Wahaj is the worst! He s rude and acts as if he doesn t want to be there! They charged me for a service they didn t do so please make sure they go over all the paperwork with you!

Be very careful of the repairs you have done here. I was told I need $500 worth of repairs when there was absolutely nothing wrong with the parts on my vehicle. I had them removed and the parts were operating perfectly. Can t get a straight answer as to why Firestone attempted to cheat me out of my hard earned money. Tie rod end looks new because the were basically new when they said they were worn out.

Never buy the lifetime balance and rotation. It s a scam, you can never use it. Even if you set up an appt in advance, you have a drop off your car, for it s a 3 hr wait, you can t wait for it in their office. it s impossible if you only have one car.

I had a great experience at this location! I worked with Patrick who could not have been more helpful. He explained everything my car needed in an easy to understand way that was extremely helpful. I got updates throughout the day regarding my car's status and he was flexible with my schedule for pickup! I would definitely recommend getting your car serviced here!

Got in with valve leaking issue looking for help like 10am. The guy at front desk was cold face and won t even care. He has no clue on waiting time and just like maybe before we close at 5pm. I told him I better go somewhere else, that guy was like, oh good luck. Never come again.

Came in cause I had a check engine light, ask the service guy at the counter if they could diagnose the issue. From the get go was very rude, told me it ll be $109 for the diag. Then I said that I had the code ran and it was the transmission shift position sensor. I was gonna ask the lead time if that was in fact the issue and about pricing but before I could say anything he tells me, Congratulations, you know the issue and still want me to diagnose it? Then starts to refer me to a A+ transmission. Just very rude, condescending customer service.Firestone *was* my preferred shop, I now know to at least avoid the Pflugerville shop on Wells Branch. I ended up going to Sun Auto across the street, much better customer service and fixed the issue same day. Ended up being a faulty motherboard in the taillight. Sun Auto is my new place to go.In short, avoid this location, horrible customer service, but thanks for recommending other shops.

I love it!We are Firestone regular customer in Austin, we came here to pick up our SUV, but because the SUV has been sitting for couple of months, so the tires actually lost some air.The service guy help us as soon as we drove up, he check out the air on both of our SUV, so we can get on the road to head back to Austin safely.

I took my 2000 Ford Mustang GT to get a wheel alignment and Patrick was very helpful and patient in helping us initially. When it was time to pick up the car, Don helped us out and was so helpful and patient in explaining everything extra that my car needed. My husband is deaf and he drew pictures when he needed to and my husband understood everything he explained. Thank you Don and Patrick for the wonderful customer service.Service: Wheel alignment

I used to come here religiously for oil changes, repairs, and inspections when Daniel was the GM. Now, if you don t have an appointment, a fleet contract, or the willingness to leave your care there for several hours to overnight, they won t help you. Even if you arrive at open. It wasn t a problem before.
