In Pflugerville, I think I may have found a new automobile repair shop I can call home. After bouncing around with other companies that just want you to fix stuff that does not need to be fixed I decided to give Christian brothers a try. It feels good. I'm always precatious before stepping into anything but so far so good. They have a good shuttle service, they are not on commission so they don't put pressure on you, clean shop with all the latest technologies. My car runs like a Swiss watch and they were very efficient. Very polite. Give them a try but never let your guard down when it comes to automobile repair discretion. But I like this one and they got me back on the road in 24 hours and I had some major mechanical problems. Christian brothers fixed them. They helped me find the mom for some deer in my car too. Please see the pictures below. And they support minority groups such as Godzilla. Pretty good deal.Lol

This was the most awesome automotive shop that I have ever been too. Everyone is so kind and caring. I m from out of town and this past week I needed to be in the Pflugerville area to help my aging brother with his truck. It needed new lug nuts so he could get new tires and they took care of us promptly and even did the State inspection! This place treats you like family and they are honest. I definitely recommend their business for your automotive needs! Thank you so much, Rich and Bob!! Y all rock!

First time ever going to this place and I was totally happy with my entire experience. Problem fixed. Great customer service. My sister and I came in from out of town to help my brother out with his truck tires and they offer superb service! Thank you Bob and Rich! And kudos to all the others I didn't get your names.

EXCELLENT customer service and consultation by management with me concerning the issues my truck held before, during and upon completion of the services required. And having just completed a 700 mile burn & turn with no issues ... I must also commend the mechanicwho performed the required services.Thank you.

I ve been going to Christian Brothers Pflugerville for over 10 years. They ve always proven to be honest, efficient, capable and friendly. Now that I ve moved to Austin and after getting bad service elsewhere I m willing to drive back to Pflugerville to trust my car to them. Highly recommended!

I took my ford focus in for a check engine light. Loved their service and price was very affordable. Did a great job and turnaround time was very fast. Not only would I use them again i just dropped my daughters s jeep off for repairs. And the 05 trailblazer I gave to my sister to drive. Have used them 5 times and will use them again when the time comes for it. The Highly recommended.

I started coming here about 4 years ago for inspections and this place never disappoints. Most shops that service cars have a bunch of guys trying to sucker me into stuff I don t need or treat me like a moron, but not here. I m always treated with respect and everyone is so personable and kind. The waiting room is very cozy too. I ll be coming here from now on for any maintenance or issues with my vehicle.

I would not recommend anyone bringing a car here that needs serious repairs. I made the mistake of bringing my car in for an engine replacement and have had nothing but issues ever since. Each time I bring it in the first thing they try to do is explain why whatever the issue is isn t covered under warranty or why it isn t the fault of their work. My engine was replaced 4 months ago and they are arguing the reason my car is bone dry without a drop of oil in it is because I waited too late to get an oil change. Some how 6 quarts of oil evaporated in 4 months with no leaks or burning oil. The entire experience has been terrible and my biggest regret. If you value your car pay the extra money and take it to your dealership or a shop that has experience working with higher value newer vehicles.I definitely want to update my review. Rick the manager has been very accommodating in helping with this issue. They changed a pcv valve and have me bring the car in often to check the mileage and top off the oil if needed. Although it s been a long journey since getting my car back, the service level has been up to par.

Absolute NIGHTMARE experience with Christian Brothers Automotive. Dropped the car off on Friday (2/19) morning for a simple lug nut stud replacement and expected a straight forward repair. Around 9:30 AM, I received a quote that was a little less than $200 for the replacement. I authorized the repair and was excited to have the vehicle back by the end of day.I received a call around noon from Christian Brothers stating As we drove the car to the parking lot AFTER the repair, there was a noise and the car was stuck in neutral . At 4:59, I received a text for the quote, I was quoted the below to fix the shifter cable assembly: $311.84 for labor and $162.03 for parts for a total of $473.87 before taxes and fees. Shortly after the quote, I received a call confirming that the shifter cable broke. I asked the technician what the next steps were and without any hesitation he immediately goes you have to authorize the repair cost . I was flabbergasted since it was extremely disappointing to know they do not take any responsibility when something goes wrong. I asked to speak to a manager and the technician said he would have the manager call me on Monday.Thinking that they valued their customers, I thought that they would call me back first thing Monday morning. Monday comes around and I am waiting the entire morning for the call. I finally called the shop in the afternoon and asked to speak to the manager. I was introduced to Rich and I told him I am calling back regarding my car. He then said, Can you catch me up on what happened? . I was disappointed to hear that the technician that was working on my car did not even inform the manager of what was going on.I told Rich what happened to my car and he immediately started to push responsibility on to the car and away from the shop. He took zero responsibility and did not acknowledge any possible wrong doing. He told me my options were either to authorize the repair or get it towed and fixed at a different auto shop. His take it or leave it attitude made the whole situation even worse. I decided to go in-person after work to speak with Rich in person.I went in person and paid for the lug nut stud repair in good faith. Rich checked me out and charged me for the repair. During the payment, I asked him if anything else can be done besides the two options he gave me, hoping that he would make me an offer to have the car fixed. He said that there are no other alternatives. I asked if he can take some photos of the damaged parts, so I can see what is actually broken. Rich personally said he would have his guys do it the next day.On Tuesday and Wednesday, I'm waiting for the pictures calling multiple times with reassurances that they would get it to me. At this point, it just seemed like they were wasting my time. And in the end, they didn t even provide me with what I asked for citing that it was too difficult to get the pictures. I finally decided to call back once again and ask if we could cut a deal and Rich had the audacity to say this is what I wanted to do from the beginning . Rich not once offered me a deal.I offered to split the total cost of $487.24 half and half. Rich came back and said the best he can do is to contribute $87.24. The paltry sum just goes to show you that they do not take ownership on issues that they caused. I asked why Rich can only cover $87 dollars, he said I am running a for-profit business." At this point, everything Rich said just cemented the fact that Christian Brothers does NOT care about their customers and their vehicles. I told Rich that we all work for our money and not everyone can afford a $500 repair. I m about to be the father to a little girl and am trying to save money. At the end he made me his FINAL OFFER and asked me to cover $323. I only accepted the offer because my wife and I both need to go into work and it has been incredibly inconvenient dragging this out.I DO NOT recommend anyone go here, since they hide behind a fake motto and will try to charge as much as possible for damages that happened under their care.

Edit: Owner basically did nothing.Christian Brothers More like the Hellish Devil Brothers.Obviously, I will never be going back to this establishment, and I will absolutely never recommend anyone I know go to this establishment, but on top of that my goal in writing this review is in hopes that you never have to deal with what my husband and I had to deal with so I can deter you from coming here too. PLEASE go to any other automotive shop, please. My favorite is that their motto and their cars have "Love your neighbor as yourself." Matthew 22:39. If my neighbor messed up my car, I would hope they would have the kindness to fix it. It's always Christian morals and Christian ideals until "We're a for profit business." word for word what the lovely manager Rich said, as well as other lovely quotes down below. Like yes obviously I know that, but we work hard for our money as well.We brought our car in because one of our lug nuts broke off. We got a quote of around $200 dollars but that they would send us the quote once they had done the work. (we had also called and they had quoted that, so we budgeted that.) And I would like to note that I drove my car, working JUST FINE into the lot minus the broken lug nut. We got a lovely call that they had to drive our car out of their bay and they heard a snap but they would call us to let us know what was wrong with it. Well apparently that snap was our shift control cable, our car was fixed permanently in neutral so our car was absolutely stuck and could not be driven any more. Okay cool, so my car that I drove in that morning is now undrivable. I can't take it anywhere. They then proceed to tell me it will cost $487.24 to get it fixed, which mind you was not money we had budgeted. I am pregnant with a baby girl on the way and we are trying to save as much money as possible until she comes. $311.84 for labor and $162.03 for the part.I would like to note, WE did not break this. Christian Brothers Automotive Pflugerville broke my car and they wanted US to pay for it. They proceeded to tell us that it was "not their negligence so we would have to pay" and that "they wouldn't charge us for the tow obviously." WOULDN'T CHARGE US FOR THE TOW???? I can't even drive my freaking car, and on the bright side they aren't charging us for the tow. But we still had to pay the $487.24 out of pocket. We made sure to call our mechanic that we typically work with in Dallas, and he said that shift control cables don't just break, they typically break because someone has applied force onto it when shifting. Force that I would like to once again state, WE did not apply. We then had to wait over the weekend to speak to the manager on Monday, the lovely Rich, from the quote above. Obviously, we wanted Christian Brothers Automotive Pflugerville to fix it without us having to pay for it but Rich flat out refused. We then decided fine, "love thy freaking neighbor" but mess up the car you're on your own. We asked to strike a deal, he went "okay I'll give it to you for $420. This a $600 dollar repair." Um we have the quote it was $487.24 where tf did you get $600. He goes "I printed it out for you when you came in." He didn't print out jack anything for us. We then were like can we please escalate this higher because this is ridiculous, and he's like " FINAL OFFER" what are we on, jeopardy???? He said he would give it to us for $323. Which at that point we had been dealing with this for a week and I needed my car back because my husband and I both have to go into work. We chose to accept it because it was clearly the "FINAL OFFER" as Rich said.At the end of the day this review is just me letting you guys know to please please please go anywhere else. Please for all that is holy and for the love of God, go somewhere else. DO NOT GO HERE.

I received a few quotes at places to get my car fixed. CBA was around the same price but the customer service was what made me commit. They saw I was with my baby and offered to pick my car up and drop it off when it was fixed. I received an invoice through an online portal, it was all a very easy process!

Cannot express enough how great Christian Brothers Automotive is.They were kind and understanding when I couldn t make my appointment due to complications with the baby. They then allowed me to bring in my car with my newborn and I got to drive me, him and their shuttle driver to my house in my car where he then took it back to the shop to work on it. The next day, they brought it back to me while I was at home so I wouldn t have to worry about moving the car seat. Which was a life saver considering Sebastian has been having a rough go at it today.Just amazing service everytime I ve gone to them and every single person I ve interacted with has been kind and helpful. They communicate with you the whole time and are honest through and through. Not to mention their prices are super reasonable and they never do more than you ask for or need done.Bob went above and beyond for me and I am so grateful They certainly have my business for life

I was here 2 weeks ago for an oil change and they were fine. The service advisor offered me an inspection but didn t tell me any of the results or even send the inspection results after the service. I paid $120 for the oil change which was over 30% more than the last oil change I got on the same car 11 months ago. I ve driven less than 100 miles since the oil change and my car notified me of low coolant levels. I know coolant and oil are different and in different reservoirs in the engine, however I called the shop to see if the coolant level was part of their inspection and if there was any possibility something was knocked loose during the service. The service advisor was very dismissive and did not try to troubleshoot with me or suggest I bring my car back for them to take another look. He just told me to add coolant with no detail on what kind of coolant to buy, where to add it, whether or not it needs to be diluted, etc. Coming from a family with several mechanics and service advisors (who all live out of state now or else I d take my car to one of them), the level of service I received here was significantly lower than I would expect from an auto shop and I will take my business elsewhere in the future.

I will always go to Christian Brothers. They offered me a ride. They took the time to work with my extended warranty. Even though my repairs needed were not covered they told me what needed to be fixed immediately and what could wait. They sent me pictures. They kept in contact. I was worried about finding an honest shop and they truly care and they treated me so well. Thank you!

Any person considering going to this location in Pflugerville, please consider an alternative. Took my vehicle in for an oil change and my concerns with noise that my vehicle was making when driving. They charged me $100 for basic oil change which I accepted, $75 for a noise, vibration and harness testing, and they said the problem with the noise was the engine torque strut mount replacement which was going to cost me close to $300 for parts and labor. I accepted the charges and they had my vehicle all day which I was fine with. I pay my $500 bill and take my SUV, didn't hear any noise anymore but the next day the noise came back and was even louder, I even noticed that my car horn didn't sound right anymore and my passenger door wasn't locking anymore for some reason. I took it back and they kept my car for another day and told me that I need an additional $1300 worth of work done which consisted of two parts, they were very good and explaining and pivoting as to why my vehicle had this "new" problem that had to be fixed. I declined the service and took it to a recommended shop called Hulk Automotive off Howard Lane. The mechanic kept my vehicle for a couple of hours and pin pointed exactly what the issue was, and even explained to me that the torque strut mount had fallen apartment again, the same one that Christian Brothers replaced and charged me for. My quote from the new shop was $1100 but it also included 2 other recommended things that needed to be replaced. I got my car back the next day and it has been working great! I called Christian Brothers and told them what the other mechanic told me about the part they replaced and once again they were very good and pivoting and telling me to bring the vehicle back with them so they can check it and if that part Christian Brothers replaced does appear to be loose or worn out, they can do a warranty exchange. I asked them is there anyway I can just get a refund for the part that I paid for since it wasn't done right and he said no. They can only do a warranty exchange. I didn't want to go back and forth with Christian Brothers so I just decided to eat that $200 charge for that part. IF you spent time reading my message, once again please consider other shops.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Oil change
