It's a mediocre parts place.Edit after reply: I got to all the local parts stores, this one is the smallest with the least helpful staff. It's also the closest, so I still go back occasionally, but the impression is never better than above.

I called asking for a certain brand of oil and the guy that answered said he s never heard of that brand and they don t carry it and proceeded to hang up I called back and another person answers I say that I want to speak to a manager and he ignores my request and proceeds to find the oil that the first guy rudely said they don t carry and ignores my complaint

Dealing with Erin today was a great experience. The service was very attentive, great, and fast. She also made sure that everything was correct on my parts that were not given to me correctly in the first place. I will be coming back. Thank you Erin!!!

Husband called regarding a specific part. Had a whole conversation with someone at this location, they told him they had one in stock. I went to pick it up. It wasn t on the shelf so when I went to the front I explained that it says there aren t any online but my husband called, and was told that they found a small stash of them in the back so they did have one in stock. The guy looks it up and says yeah, I talked to him. Like I explained to him, it s a supply issue. Look at this, you see these? Those are zeros. That means we don t have any .I m very thrown off because that response was unnecessarily rude, so I re-explain the conversation my husband had minutes before I got there and the guy says no I didn t tell him any of that . I wanted to ask if it was possible he spoke with someone else because he had a whole conversation with someone about trucks and this part and how it s harder to find so he obviously didn t just make this conversation up. But at this point, between the tone of voice, body language, and his condescending response told me this guy isn t going to treat me with any amount of respect.

5 stars for excellent customer service. Shout out to Chris, T- this man deserves a raise. My car battery died at the car wash right down the road from the shop and he drove me to my car,helped me jump it and get it back to the shop, then installed a new battery for me in under 30 minutes. He was understanding of my situation and helped a guy out who needed it at that moment. Great customer service by him and I hope management sees this review. Thanks again Chris!

Xavier sold me the wrong part, and turns out I can t even return it or get store credit even. I understand making a mistake and selling someone the wrong part, but to be SOL afterwards is insane.

I will never shop here again. Matt was very rude. Not helpful in the slightest. Very offensive. He made me feel like I was a huge bother to him. Thank goodness AutoZone is close by. They gave great service!

Walked in with questions about my brakes and the guys were very knowledgeable on everything I needed to know. Rene helped me find the products I need and was able to find a special going on for me. I really recommend these guys for your car trouble.

I tried to shop here today. I have a medical condition which does not allow me to wear a mask. Was with husband who WAS wearing his mask. Their sign says "Masks required. If you are not wearing one, we will assume you have a medical condition." They would not let me shop. Told them they needed to take their sign down if it was inaccurate.... Was treated rudely. Do not shop here unless you support medical discrimination.

ordered on line and picked up in the store. Can't complain about anything. The clerk was willing to entertain my crazy questions about fuel pump relays. Granted he did not know much about them... but he did not tell me to take a hike :)

Great store. Employees are always very helpful and quick to address you as you walk in. I purchase a lot from this store and their online discounts are great too. You earn bonus points for purchases and get additional discounts as you earn points. Really hard to beat their system so I find myself going back often.

So here goes my wonderful experience at this location, I was referred to this location by the folks at the Round Rock s store which happens to be my go-to store where the staff is helpful, answers every one of my question and is always nice. I was in search for a refrigerant oil, Ry1234yf refrigerant oil to be exact and since I couldn t find it at the Round Rock location, I ended up at this location(1313 FM 1685).I was greeted by a staff who seemed to be a little busy and was the only one at the store and was stacking parts on the shelf, this was around 8:00pm CT on 04/29/2021, let's have the precise location and time handy just in case the store manager runs across this review.I ask him for the refrigerant oil, he was happy to help, points me to the part, verifies it, hands it to me and moves to the counter to bill it for me, I also ask him on his way to the counter if he has any of the Ry1234yf Freon at his store, he tells me he has never heard of that type of Freon which is quite understandable since only the cars 2018 and newer have started to use the new type as compared to the old one Ry134a. It suddenly crossed my mind that the guys at the Round Rock store used to carry the newer one and I told him the same and requested if he could check his computer to see if they sell the newer type Freon.Now here is where things take a Ut-urn, he replies to me I have been working here for the past 5 years ,don t tell me what I sell and what I don t , those were his exact words. Now, what do you call this behavior? Rudeness or Arrogance or Ignorance or all of it together? I got a little upset at this point and I truly apologize for being upset. I move to the counter and ask him why he was behaving so rude , he replies he was not. I placed the Ry1234yf refrigerant oil at his billing counter, and told him I was not buying this product from his store and walked out of the store out of disappointment, now as I was walking out he follows me and yells at me these exact words Get the hell out of my store , I kept walking and did not respond out of fear and moreover out of respect.So to the folks running the business at Advance Auto Parts, please employ nice, welcoming and warmhearted employees so that customers like me don t take our business next door. The Store s CCTV footage between 7:45pm and 8:15pm CT at this location should point you to the exact words spoken by your employee , and in case your footage doesn t record audio, there are professional lip reading services out there that will decode your staff s interactions with customers.Good luck running your business with unprofessional, rude and arrogant employees and never will I ever step into this location.

Waited over an hour and a half for them to run to another store to get the correct battery after selling me the wrong one originally. Was told this would only take 30-40 minutes (other store is only 20 minutes away). Store employees claimed there was traffic, but confident the guy was just taking a joy ride around time or bs'ing around at the other store. Wouldn't recommend this store to anyone.

Great service from Ryan L. during the winter storm in Pflugerville, Texas. Helped me get everything I needed and even pointed me to the closest gas stations with gas because many stores had run out. Thanks for everything and everybody go here for all your needs! They ll help you out!! Thanks Ryan!

Need work on web site and actual store inventory. They don't match. So then they sale you the part and you have to go pick it up, or wait for the other store to deliver it. Need to watch when you get a credit from them. They do not process it in a timely manner. 2 days after the credit receipt was processed the set the info to my bank, the took 10 after that to receive the credit back. Don't call the store they don't know what to do, and trying to find someone to answer why the delay was about the same as working with government people. It's not my job, I'm not sure. The dumb/ duh attitude at work.Save time, effort and sanity and shop somewhere else.

This store is really great and professional. I came here to get a battery for my car because the dealership did me just right by messing up the one in my car almost two years exactly.With the winter cold weather this year we have had in Texas. My car was not wanting to start when it was super cold. For us Texans that is anything around the 30s or below type of weather.I came back here in December 2017 and the guy tetsed it. Sure enough for a Premium battery the cold cranking amps we're very low. He told me to try charging it full over night. So I did and my car seemed to be running until after Christmas and again minor cold weather while parked in the garage it didn't want to start up right away.I came back again, this same gentleman was there but he was busy. New tech guy tested and told me to try one more time to charge it over night and if still the same when I brought it back for testing the next day they would for sure replace it for free with their warranty.I came home and put the battery on the charger immediately 90% charged. Next cold cranking amps we're in the same range. The new tech guy from the day before was there. I believe his name was Joe. Very cool and respectful.I was frustrated at first. I am not going to lie but I am glad they had me run through the checks. Being an IT guy I can understand the logic behind it. Unfortunately I just got a bad battery off the shelf since my original purchase. No worries right. The guy explained to me everything I needed to know.I really like going to this Advanced Auto Parts.

STRANGE!This place had me feeling off before I even set foot in the building. Before I even got out of my car, there was an irritated-looking man standing with his arms crossed at the door. So I walk up expecting him to open the door but instead I open it and he just stands in front of me not saying anything. But another, much younger employee helped me find the parts I needed and at the checkout I asked if he could break a hundred. He didn t know so he asked the other guy and replied no. And continued to reiterate that he wouldn t break a hundred from me, even if it was from my hand to his. Overall I don t know what to think about the experience. I just feel that the advance auto parts needs to improve their people skills a bit and maybe greet their customers at the door with a hello and welcome .

I have ordered LIQUI MOLY TopTec 4200 online. Spent 40 minutes coming to the shop to hear that they can not find this oil.

These guys aren't talking any precautions to operate to a new safety standard. No employees were wearing mask, and one guy walked right up to my face. No training on staying a safe distance. I'll have to take my business to AutoZone I guess. If you're looking for a safe place to shop for auto parts, this is not it.

Worst place, customer service lower than any business I have ever dealt with. I show up and the guy has to get off of making a personal call in his personal cellphone. The attitude was horrible. He wasn't even wearing the right uniform. Please refrain from doing business at this place.

The salesperson took his time and explained all the information for my purchase of tire rods for my 2007 Maxima. All of the staff there were very pleasant and I would refer any one who needs good honest service for parts on their vehicle.

I called into this store and was helped promptly by Anthony. The service was excellent and he helped me identify the right part I needed for my vehicle and verified it was correct when I arrived to pick it up. Thanks to Anthony for going above and beyond.

I had already purchased elsewhere but could not figure out how to replace. So I stopped and asked if they could help. The gentleman came out in the cold and pool it took them off and put them on for me. Great customer service!

Walked into this place today no greeting when I walked in. I walked the store from the front to the back not one person asked me if I needed help. I found what I was looking for on my own but decided to spend my money elsewhere

Please add more lighting to the outside of your facility. Store is generally maintained clean and organized. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Website is not user friendly.

I was in an unexpected/unfortunate situation and in need of a new battery. I had my toddler with me that day, which was going to make install challenging, but at pick up, the clerk, Raul on his own offered to help me out by installing on-site. During install, Raul found the battery terminal to be disintegrating and offered to make that quick change as well. He noted we might as well get it done the right way so we won't have any future problems. This type of customer service and professionalism is off the charts! I didn't have a way to tip him and I believe Raul is the kind of guy who wouldn't have taken it if I had it. People in my town are very lucky to have a guy like Raul at our local store and Advance Auto should definitely take note of Raul as one of their model team members. I can't thank Raul enough for his kindness and willingness to go the extra mile to help me out. Thanks Raul!!

Parts are definitely cheaper, but you'll get what you pay for. The folks are friendly and know what they're talking about, but the "cheaper" parts won't last as long as you need. An example, I purchased some brake lights that lasted one and a half weeks and went out again. I had my vehicle checked for an electrical short, which no issues were found ($125 check), then had to purchase lights at a different auto parts store which have now lasted a month-to-date and still going.
