a month ago we discovered fraud in our American Express card (credit card we use for our business) I was completely naive when it come to keeping up with the maintenance cost & due to the fact, this business took complete advantage and were doing a $500dlr charge every two weeks for the past three months until last month that we had our troque down here in the valley w a local mechanic & two charges went in for $500 in less than 24hrs. Which was a red flag because I knew for a fact that our 18-wheeler was here in the valley. Turns out this business did a total of $4,341.01 of unauthorized charges. I contacted the owner of this mechanic shop and he immediately passed me to his wife and she claimed "her phone was stolen" she would sort it out immediately! Well thankfully our bank was able to dispute $3,341.01 which left a remaining balance of $1,000 dollars Cynthia Chabarria (the wife of the business owner) gave me week of run around that she never had time to go drop off the cashiers check of the remaining balance ($1,000) at the post office. Until last week she blocked my phone number, so I contacted her on fb & her daughter texted me saying her mom had a heart attack that she was in the emergency room. (I dont know if its true or not, regardless I wish nothing bad upon anyone) well they finally send out a money order & today I received it & it was half the amount with a note w a math problem. So I immediately contacted her & to my surprise I'm blocked again on her phone & she ignores every call from a (956) area code & I've tried sending her photos from my American Express account showing her they didn't dispute no more than the $3,341.01 why would she send me less than what was charged on my card by her square app account. So regardless I'm blocked & I know I have friends who drive/own 18-wheelers & travel through Texas please avoid DC MECHANIX in Pecos,TX.Service: Brake service & repair
