After two weeks of my truck being worked on and listening to excuse after excuse, I gave up and went to pick it up. Figured I would find someone else.It wasn t even there. I found my truck a mile away at another shop called Lee s 4X4 Snider wasn t even working on my vehicle.They gave all kinds of excuses why it wasn t fixed, but they really had no idea.Never again.Wiring harness was for rear differential was left off and now the rear end won t lock.Here are the photos of my truck at a completely different shop and Lee, the owner of the shop at3837 Halik St, Pearland, TX 77581

I highly recommend Snider Transmission! Tommy was amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable and very efficient. Having to get transmission work done is stressful. He fixed my Suburban and it s like brand new. They handled the warranty company for us, and I was pleasantly surprised at how fast the work was done. We will definitely be back in the future if we need any services they offer.

You will never have a better time getting the worst service. Took my car in for a 4 day job which turned out to last 13 and was charged way too much for the quality of the work received. Would never recommend this place to anyone unless you want a nice conversation and a bad time. Was told in several occasions that my car would be done even once making a dead trip with no way home but to walk. 1/5 edit:also messed up the wiring for tire pressure great job guysService: Transmission

I thought I had a transmission leak, went to snider to get a free diagnostic, turns out it was an engine oil leak instead that a previous mechanic failed to fix.Tommy was great to work with, he was very honest with me and answered all my questions promptly. He was always available through text or phone and i was not charged a penny.Would definitely recommend!

I highly recommend Snider Transmission of Pearland to anyone having transmission issues. They just rebuilt the transmission in my 2003 Honda and I was extremely pleased with the services. They towed my car in for free, repaired my transmission and had me back on the road in just 3 days. It was nice to actually be greeted by a SNIDER family member when I walked in the door to pick up my car. Thanks again Chris and Amber, I will definitely be back for my transmission service in 25K miles.Susie

My wife and daughter were stranded in a parking lot. My gear shifter was stuck in neutral, so I called Snider transmission in pearland and Tommy answered the phone really professional with a really great attitude. Without me even asking he offered to send this guy out to the scene and fix it on the spot to get me out of A bad situation. I really appreciate Tommy and his crew and I would highly recommend them to anybody that I know. What a great team

I just had Snider Transmission Pearland work on my 2009 Chevy truck and could not have been more pleased. What i thought was going to be a headache, turned out to be a relatively painless experience. Chris and Amber dealt with the my extended warranty company on my behalf which was a huge relief to say the least. The original diagnosis was spot on, they kept me informed the whole time, the work was done with quality GM parts, and i got my truck back in only a few days. Thanks again y'all for running a first class establishment!

Needed my car to have transmission rebuilt. Found Snider Transmission on the Internet with great reviews so I gave them a call .Talk with Amber she was very helpful and understanding she even got my car towed for free to her shop that same day .Turns out my transmission did needed to rebuilt.While my car was in the shop Amber had me a rental car which help me out so much Thank you Amber!!!!! I am very pleased and happy with the transmission work Snider Transmission has done to my car .It runs great with no issue's definitely would recommend Snider Transmission anyone looking to have transmission work done to their car .Great and friendly staff

My experience with Snider Transmission was great. Andy and Chris were honest about the leading problems I would have in the future and they were able to work with me. They told me yesterday that they can have my car ready for me by today So said so done. I do recommend you to take your car to snider transmission if you're on this side of town.

I have a 2001 Ford F150 Supercrew that finally burned up the tranny. I was in a real quandary about investing a serious amount of money into it at this stage - though it is still in overall pretty good condition. I carefully weighed the options and gave Snider the max figure that I was willing to venture into my older truck. They agreed and stuck by the deal, even though the total was, reportedly, considerably more. Now instead of a 4800 pound paper weight, I have a vehicle that I can sell for a decent down payment, or just keep on truckin' until the right vehicle and deal come along to let it go. Good work and integrity, and a shop that actually cares about the customers situation - where do you that combo in this day and age? - Snider transmission. Thanks a ton . You bailed me out of a tough spot as painlessly as possible.

Chris and Amber relate to you as a person, not just as a customer. When my transmission needed to be rebuilt, I was able to ask questions and have things fine tuned when needed. They installed a new computer and from a good company that I could trust and talk to also if I had concerns.Snider helped me when I got into a bit (a lot) of issues with another company that actually voided my warranty of new computer that was functioning well, claiming it was a transmission problem--> (Meineke of Post oak--review posted on their site). I came to Meineke for help with evaporation codes and that wasn't addressed. It turned out after tests on a testing RAV-4 that did not have any transmission issues, that it was the computer that Meineke replaced my new one via Snider with and it's proven in the long term, because when I got my new computer installed with Snider again, I have had no problems since...my transmission continues to run well as it did when I first got it. I have a 2003 Toyota RAV4.I just told Amber, it's been a couple months and it's been running great. (I didn't have transmission problems prior to going to Meineke so I know that particular shop wasn't following good faith practices for the customer and refusal to acknowledge the problem with their computer which repeatedly showed problems; my transmission with Meineke's installed computer was doing weird things like a hard, rapid shift to second and sometimes third gear after going above 20 mph from standstill at a stoplight even going slowly...it was worse than before I brought it in.)Fortunately, I was able to get documentation from Snider that showed how the other company messed up as mentioned above and how there is a seal with a date that showed that Snider already replaced my computer a week prior, so it did not need repairing (the transmission did not need repairing) despite Meineke's claims. I'm out $500 because Meineke voided my warranty with my first new computer that I had to repurchase. I returned the faulty computer back to Meineke in person with documentation of what was going wrong with it. I should have had the warranty honored with them, but they kept claiming it was on the transmission side--which it was clearly not...my car works very well now after Snider helped again).Bottom line: I would recommend you go to Snider and avoid the other one. I plan to continue going to Snider for transmission work and oil changes. I love how my new car runs and it came just in time as I was able to drive around to places like Fifth Ward (where you want your car to work well) to assist in dog rescue and volunteer work with seniors.

I like this place, but it seems like there s always an excuse as to why a certain someone can t do a certain service because he s got a medical condition. I ended up going to a competitor that could do the job in one day, was cheaper and they had this framed quote hanging on their wall: Rule#1: If you don t take care of your customers...someone else will! Kind of ironic, don t you think?

To best describe Snider Transmission in Pearland is to say proffesionalism at its best.Snider Transmission not only rebuilt my transmission and made it feel like new but they also resurfaced the flywheel and replaced parts on the clutch all for the same price,absolutely no hidden fees Snider Transmission went out of their way to fix my truck.To best describe Amber,she's a people's person and my experience with her was like talking to an old friend,she addressed all my concerns and answered all my questions kindly,very nice lady and good looking also ,thank you very much Amber,sincerely Juan Robles
