Ellis Automotive came in highly recommended from my neighbors and after pricing and speaking with both Erik and Chris I decided to take my vehicle to them to be serviced. Both Erik and Chris were so polite and professional and got my vehicle running with a fast turn around! They were honest and that seems hard to come by these days. I initially called a dealership and they were very rude and were going to charge me 3xs the amount than Ellis Automotive. I paid an affordable price with Ellis and was treated respectfully here and not taken advantage of like some mechanics. Thank you Ellis Automotive for getting my mom-mobile running like butter! I highly recommend using this auto shop for your vehicle repairs! They also have a night drop slot and shuttle service if needed which is super convenient! Couldn t be happier with my choice of choosing Ellis and will now be my go to going forward. Thank you Ellis Automotive!!!

Erick and his crew are awesome. Had to replace an engine in our handicapped equipped van. They did the job in a short time frame - great work and very fair pricing. Would recommend to anyone.

This company was GREAT! My wife Martha was stranded out of our town and this company came highly recommended by her daughter. I called them and they immediately was able to get my wife scheduled for an alternator repair that afternoon. The time was fast, the work was very thorough and the price was more than fair. I wish this company had a satellite company in San Antonio.

I had AC issues with a 2008 Nissan Armada. The Ellis family have had a business here in Pearland for years, but I never used them in the past. I can tell you now, I will never go anywhere else. One part that was put on my A C was defected. I took it back to Eric and within less than 1 hour, it was fixed with no hassle. That's the way good business works. Take care of customers and they will be your best advertisers. Thanks to Eric and Kyler for being pros at what they do. You have a life long customer with me.

Ellis Automotive is the only place I take my vehicles to. I used to always fix my own vehicles because I didn't have a good mechanic. These guys are super honest, reasonable on price, and always fix it right. I recommend them to friends and family all the time.

We use Ellis for all of our car repairs. They are honest and dependable and don't overcharge. They've let us know when a repair is simple enough to fix at home or can be put off for a little while. We've even had them send us home without charging when they didn't find anything wrong. Highly recommend this family business!

!!!Dishonest!!!, !!!READ THE ONE STAR REVIEWS BEFORE COMING HERE!!!!they will nickel and dime you for every penny your worth. My car was basically totaled with how much in repairs it needed, they didn t tell me that. Instead they installed piece by piece and had me coming every other week for another problem with my car. I took my car to a different auto shop and they told me straight up never ever go to ellises!! They are dishonest and will take advantage of you if they know your not savvy with cars!!! !!Be warned!!!

These guys are honest, fairly priced, professional and friendly. I am a former business owner and if you use those 5 words to describe any business, then in my opinion, you can't go wrong. I have yet to take my new vehicle in until Thursday but they have worked on my 07 charger before I sold it. They are very honest and cheaper to get things done than at a dealership. Very humble and hardworking people, if your vehicle needs to be fixed bring it here.

Ellis automotive was recommended to me by a neighbor. My vehicle is still being worked on so I can't really comment as of yet on the finished product however, so far... the customer service has been outstanding. I like that Ellis has been very communicative before actually performing any work to make sure I'm OK with the cost. Very trustworthy vibes so far!

My boyfriend and I have our cars repaired there. They are professional. They check and fix what is needed. I think it's reasonable. We trust them and definitely will recommend family and friends for services

Edit: Great mechanics, but not really up with the times on how to run a business. Had my car towed here over the weekend after it broke down and called numerous times to try and see when they could look at it and work on it. No answer. Had to drive all the way over to see a sign on the door that they were closed. They could ve at the least changed their voicemail to say they re closed.Was referred here by a friend. They were less than half the cost of what the dealership wanted. Scheduling was a couple days out, but you know a mechanic is good when they're booked up. Highly recommended.

I was referred to Ellis Automotive by a friend's dad. We had trouble getting my left rear tail light cover off to replace the brake light. I came by with my new lightbulb handy and was in and out in less than five minutes with my new brake light put in for no charge. I was very impressed with how quick and kind this service was. I will be referring all of my friends here. Quick, honest service at it's best! Thank you!

Had a great experience with Ellis Automotive. They have fast service and super reasonable on prices! Less than half the cost ($160) as the other place ($353) I got a quote from!!!! The owner Rick is very friendly, knowledgeable, and nice enough to remember names. My go-to place for auto repairs!

After multiple referrals to Ellis Automotive I trusted them with our car and SUV. They were always fair and called for approval if additional work was warranted.They will not sell you too much work and offered good advice when cars got near the point of diminishing returns for repairs. I trust them, that is what matters most to me.

Having recently moved to Pearland, Ellis Automotive came highly recommended. I now understand why.I brought my vehicle in with a worn out distributor. After talking through the history of the vehicle, as well as my plans for future upgrades/repairs, they got to work.They stayed in contact as additional problems presented themselves (none of which were a surprise or unexpected) and remedied them in a timely manner.What impressed me was their directness in addressing issues, as well as a lack of 'up sell' attempts. They solved the problem and pointed out legitimate ancillary parts which needed attention. There was no pressure for an oil change, no mention of worn wiper blades, etc.Will definitely be returning for repairs which can't be done in the home garage, and will be adding my voice to the recommendations.

Firestone said we needed $3,000 worth of work to pass inspection... These guys took the time to really look at the car and see what really needed to be done. They got the car inspection-ready for $70. I definitely recommend them!

Great place, great honest people. I dropped my girlfriends car off with what I thought was a failed power steering pump. They found that it was just a leaking power steering pressure line and instead of replacing the pump (which was fine) and the broken hose, they called me and informed me it just needed the new hose. Less than half what I thought it was going to cost. I know an honest car mechanic is stereotypically an oxymoron, but these guys break the mold. If it breaks, I'm taking it to them.

Feeling macho, I decided to replace the front brakes and rotors on my Ford F-150 pickup myself. While trying to break the bolts loose on the calipers, I torqued out my back. Trying to let off some brake pressure, I then mangled the bleeder on the right side. To finish it off, I trashed the master cylinder by applying too much pressure to the brake pistons with a C-clamp.With little or no brake, I limped the truck into Ellis Automotive and dropped it off on a Monday evening after hours with a note. They called me at noon Wednesday to say it was ready to pick up. The total bill was under $300.00 and that included replacing the master cylinder and the right caliper assembly. As with all the other repairs I've had done at Ellis over the years, I didn't ask for a repair estimate. I knew I would be treated fairly and I wasn't disappointed.I would recommend Ellis Automotive to anyone in need of car or truck repair. One more thing. I've learned my lesson. Leave auto repairs to the pros. You end up actually saving money in the end. And you don't have to pay for chiropractor and pain meds for back either.

This place tried to charge me $750 for a fuel pump replacement and then tried to say that my fuel filter needed to be replaced after I just put a new one on! The only reason they are getting 2 stars and not 1 is because they only charged me $50 dollars for diagnostic fee!!! THEY ARE NOT A PLACE OF INTEGRITY AND HONOR!!!!!

I just got my car repaired by Ellis. My car runs great now and they charged me more than $1,000 less than the quote from a dealership! I will recommend Ellis to everyone I know!
