Outstanding customer service! The folks at Eagle are superior at diagnostics and repair. After taking my car to a well trusted mechanic I went to for years who couldn t figure out what was wrong with my car, I took it to Eagle. They were fantastic. My second experience with eagle automotive and transmission proved to be the right choice again. My first experience was a few years back with my daughters car, Nissan Sentra transmission problems from start to finish, these guys made a simple process, and above all it was affordableMost recently, my Toyota Tacoma, went in for broken shifter cable once again from start to finish affordable easy to get information on the status of the vehicle. Worst phone customer service ever. Called to ask a question to see if they could repair tail light. The man proceeded to ask me a vague question which I answered. He responded by saying that was a weird response. After posting a 1 star review, I received a google response from the owner stating that They were sorry for the confusion and they did not mean to offend me. To be clear, there was no confusion on my part. Your representative specifically said That was a weird response. And anyone would be offended by such a statement. If there was confusion on your representatives part, they should have stated so and not give a response but rather ask the question again or in a different way. The response by the owner shows no clear sense of responsibility, but rather blame shifting. This is no doubt what they will do when a price is given at drop off and at pick up it is much higher.I have worked in the service departments at several dealerships and I KNOW what I am talking about. I left the industry because management would not take car of their costumers and I felt bad about it.There are warnings signs however, not accepting responsibility and being overtly rude up front are just two of them. If they can treat someone like this in the beginning of service I wonder what they would do in the middle and the end if one took their car there. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I went there 2 times and both times I was greeted with a smile. My service that was provided was explained to me in details. As well as the amount. When I got there I knew exactly what I was paying. There service team did a great job. I appreciate them. No hidden prices or agendas, I will be going there for now on. So if you are looking for a good place to go to have your vehicle serviced. Go there you will not be disappointed. Thanks to everyone there it really feel good to know that a woman that s single can go there and be treated equally. Thanks again. Wanda

Michael, I wanna say thanks again! You guys got me up an running correctly, should've came to you guys first to begin with. These guys worked with me on the bill for the overhaul they did on my transmission an I'm very very happy with their work an how the transmission performs.They were straight forward from the start, showed me what was wrong after break down an updated everything inside.Should I have anymore issues in the later future, ill be back with eagles to get it fixed again

Michael was transparent the entire time!!! To me, transparency is a foundation for trust. The shop kept me informed about the problem and solution with my vehicle, calling me every step of the way. They even showed me my previous parts at check in. The shop completed quality work and I would trust them with my vehicle should a need arise again.

I took my son s car to Eagle Automotive and what a great experience I had. Very honest owner working for this company, he was able to fix a liking problem with the alternator for $400 while in other place they want $2000. I also received a follow up call a few days after I picked up the car. Such a great service, coming back for sure!

I recently moved to Sugar Land but also a few short months ago had my transmission replaced by an Eagle near Austin. The new transmission went out shortly after moving here. Michael and his team didn t treat me like an inconvenience in for warranty work. Their customer service was some of the best I ve experienced and my truck feels better than ever. Couldn t recommend them strongly enough.

When I brought my car in for a water pump replacement, they quickly got it back and looked at it to confirm the issue. The owner was so friendly and told me they would get it done the same day. My car was done within 4 hours and the price was very fair. I will definitely be back for future repairs.

Eagle Automotive & Transmission is our go-to shop for maintenance and repairs for our vehicles. The issue that matters most to me is that I feel safe driving my vehicle after my car has been in the shop. I highly recommend them.

I paid 3800 bucks to get my transmission rebuilt. After a few weeks I took it back because when it would shift from 2nd to 3rd I would feel and hear a clunking noise coming from my transmission. The gentleman named Zeke told me that it was my clutches settling in and I should probably pull something with it to help that process. So I did. The sound continued to come from the transmission. I figured what they were telling me the clutches would settle in and the sound would go away. Here recently I took it back and they then told me it was because the transmission had so much torque that it was the motor mounts that was making that sound and they needed to be replaced. I took their word and paid 860.00 to have them replaced. I left from there and let the transmission get nice and warm and tested to see if it was still doing the clunking sound when shifting from 2nd to 3rd. It still does it. I took the same individual for a ride so he can hear it and feel it and he did. I left it there for them to figure out the issue and now the owner is telling me I m imagining things and it s a figment of my imagination and I m only doing this because my warranty is almost out. I explained to him that this was not the case because I brought it to them a few weeks after it was rebuilt with the same issue it has now. I was then told to come get my truck and he wasn t going to do anything else. Unbelievable!!

I visited Eagle for a transmission issue. Because I have a CVT type transmission I was told they did not feel they were the best qualified to do the work. I was expecting to pay a diagnostic fee but I was not charged for their service. I admire their honesty and good customer service and have returned to them twice now for other needed car repairs. Both times I have been met with professionalism, respect and good, competent work. All the employees are friendly and professional. They perform good work for a fair price and I would definitely recommend this store to others without hesitation.Service: Auto brake replacement

My experience at Eagle Transmission was awesome. They explained what the problem was, the best path forward with options that I may want to choose while they rebuilt my transmission. The staff was very knowledgeable. The owner made sure my 04 F250 truck was fixed and that I was completely satisfied. He thanked me for choosing his shop and shook my hand when leaving.

First time using Eagle Automotive. My car was experiencing a slight overheating issue. Michael and his team went through several diagnostic tests and ended up identifying the issue. I was very pleased with their level of thoroughness and glad that they didn't just start replacing parts to guess and check the problem. I will certainly be going back to Eagle Automotive for any future automotive needs. The cost for the fix was what I would consider to be reasonable as well.

Always super impressed with their work & willingness to get you in speedy. I the "customer" had to locate transmission parts for repairs to be made...after over a week of car sitting.No warranty on transmission work.Was told they didn't think it was the OEM transmission in car, due to the continuous issues, I when to shop and within 3mins show them the OEM green tag on transmission.$8000...not sure where you arrive at that number (LOL) We were aware the vehicle only needed a clutch replacement from previous quotes.Eagle price was inline with previous quotes we received and base on public reviews we chose Eagle to preform the clutch replacement. Once I provided the clutch kit the work was completed in a day.

I had my transmission rebuilt on 98 Lexus GS 300, it was original trans with over 300k miles on it. Eagle Automotive was very professional in communicating every detail from start to finish. Very happy with their work and attention to detail. They took care of other issues i was unaware of besides the transmission. Had a blown out clutch and flywheel replaced with a performance clutch a few months ago. Michael and his team had it zipped up and out of the shop quickly, and looking like the car was never touched. I had some other work on the car I had to do, so I finally just passed the break in point for the new clutch, and it feels amazing. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a professional shop and not a hack job.Service: Transmission

Today I had a great automotive experience with Eagle Automotive. I had the pleasure of speaking with Michael, the owner, regarding my transmission. He was very polite and dilligent in listening to my concerns. Once I arrived I was able to get an inspection of my transmission which eased my worries ahead of the upcoming holidays. Him and his team thoroughly checked the issue of my concerns and gave me feedback in a straightforward way which I respect. I definitely recommend Eagle Automotive & Transmission for your vehicle needs. As a woman I was very comfortable with the help received. I stopped by Eagle Automotive several weeks ago to inquire about a broken Active Grille Shutter Assembly. I wanted to see what could be done to temporarily fix the issue and to also replace the part. I was told to open my hood and it was explained to me that the task of removing the damaged part would require a lot of effort as parts in the engine bay would need to removed to access the active grille shutter, and they would charge for that service.The worker then took my contact information, and I was told I would receive a call regarding ordering a replacement part and the cost to install it since I refused to let them remove the damaged part.I never received a phone call and additionally I ended up being able to remove the damage part correctly and safely within 10 minutes without having to open the engine hood as I was told would be required which was the justification for charging to remove the part.Disclaimer: I am not in the business system as a customer as I never ended up doing service with them for these reasons.

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 18, 2023. Again, I am not disappointed because my car has a chronic engine light issue and we ve done everything that we know how to do. It s still there, but we are digging to the bottom of it. They have been completely professional, and did the work as I would expect it to be doneFrom 2021: I am so thrilled that Michael answered my call. I was referred by someone up in Houston. I needed a transmission shop with INTEGRITY. I asked, and I received! I thought my transmission was gone in my 15 year old car. I left my car there for two days for them to do a full diagnostic, only to find that I needed a clutch and a slave cylinder. I asked them to change those two items and the master cylinder as well. I fully expected a bill that would have been About $600 to $800 higher.. my car is my life and that is all I had. When it was returned to me, it drives like a brand new vehicle! The service was second to none, and I would recommend the shop to anyone who is in need of honest, thorough, and high-quality service! They are 52 miles from my house, but I really don t care! Our car was taken in for transmissions concerns. We were referred to this location from a young man at Auto-zone. We weren t disappointed, the diagnosis was free and the technician was honest with us about what was needed for repair and his suggestions. It makes a great difference these days when people have a genuine concern for the consumer.

Mike and everyone at the shop were awesome!! My car was a little difficult to diagnose, but Mike was informational, patient, and very helpful. My car is now running beautifully.
