Don't go to this place. I went here months ago and forgot to put a review. They were suppose to charge $125-$250(max install in breathalyzer only if u have a key fob ignition switch car because of all the extra wiring) and they decided to charge me max for an old vehicle with very little to no extra wiring to install it. NOT ONLY THAT they gave me one extra mouth piece to change and last for a month till I get it recalibrated. Yet another customer went and they asked him if he wanted more and he said no they gave him a bunch the first time he went -_- and judging from the other reviews these people benefit and support people of their own color even though they say they don t. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

I used Audio Engineers to install a aftermarket car alarm and was very impressed with the quality of thier work. The job was complicated but they made it look easy. I highly recommend them if your looking to protect your car with an upgraded car alarm.

Worst experience ever! I went here to get a speaker box built. Jay had me buy my own materials and he was supposed to charge me 2.5 hours for the labor. He kept putting me on the back burner. At one point I had to pick up my materials and attempt to find someone else to do it. With no success, I ended up going back to Jay. It ended up taking him 8 months to build the box. It was given to me unfinished, full of sawdust, with upholstery hanging off. He had the nerve to ask for more money for extra touches that he put into the design, which should have been free considering the wait. The box didn t last a whole hour. It collapsed shortly after I screwed the speakers in the box. The construction of the enclosure did not support the weight of my subwoofers. He said that I had a lifetime warranty, but I guess his wife never told him that I came by to get it fixed. It s now been almost 4 years and I m riding around with a broken speaker box in the back of my Jeep.I also didn t appreciate the constant bashing of certain political candidates and free use of N- word by one his white customers (that Jay dismissed as barbershop talk ).

Absolutely run away from this company!! Jay damaged my husband's car in the process and admitted it in person, when asked to get the deposit back Kaci refused any damage and insisted on taking $85 for their labor done out if my $250 deposit. We also never got the product we put the deposit down for in the first place. The whole story: Paid $250 deposit on 3/4/19, brought my car in to get Bluetooth added on via hijack module 3/8/19, but was told they were sent the wrong part. Had an appointment for 3/12 to get the hijack module placed but was called 3/11 to be told the product was recalled and no longer available. They then said they would replace my whole system for the same $500 quoted, so I decided to stick with them as this seemed like an unbeatable deal. When I arrived on 3/12 they told me it would be more $$ due to having steering controls so I figured it was too good to be true but still had confidence it would get done.I got a call after I emailed and my car had been there all day (they are not reliable at answering their phones at all) and was told the system would not work for the car because we supposedly had an upgraded system without GPS, which is supposedly rare. At this point I decide we need to cut our losses and pick a company who knows what they are doing, so I call to tell Jay that, and he tells me over the phone that he doesn't recommend removing the system again because of the "old leather", and starts talking about cracks in the dash that my husband and I both know were not there to begin with. We go to see in person, and he admits to damage and cracking happening, and even showed my husband places where he touched the tool to the leather and how it cracked. He continuously blamed this on the "old car" and "dried out leather", making it seem unavoidable. The system was still out at the time so my husband was not sure if the cracks would show once it was replaced so he wasn't super concerned at that point. It wasn't until he was driving it home a few hours later, once the system was replaced, that he looked at the cracks and damage around the system and a large crack on the right side of the car, none of which were there before this company had his car.Even after all this, all I asked for was a refund of my deposit, which was evaded every time I asked. They kept trying to get us to bring it back in to make further attempts to get bluetooth added. Fool me once. Finally I told them very frankly that I was being nice because I felt they were doing us a favor before, but they damaged our vehicle. Then Kaci denied the damage outright even though Jay had admitted it. Jay then called shortly thereafter and left me a voicemail denying damages. I was so flabbergasted by their absolute lack of integrity as a business, especially since I wasn't even trying to get them to pay for the damage, but simply give me a refund.Needless to say, it is not about the $85 that they kept but about the principal of how they chose to do business.

I don t where to start! The service is OUTSTANDING and they go above and beyond to make sure you get what you want. Most audio shops try to talk you and in to getting what they want you to have. Jay is very knowledgeable and knows exactly what s he s doing. He even takes the time to explain what he s going to do and how everything works. This was my second installation with them and just like the last time everything was perfect. I highly recommend this shop. They have my Ryker sounding GREAT

I had the pleasure of hiring Audio engineers to do a good deal of custom work for my car. I have a disabled spouse and we have the need for a wheelchair to be in the trunk. I desired to have a banging stereo system but can not sacrifice the trunk space and still needed to be able to get a wheelchair in and out. Audio Engineers welcomed the challenge and custom designed a box with 2 10" kickers that mounted to the top of the trunk space!Audio Engineers completely changed out all of my stock speakers and installed the new amplifiers. I also ordered a Drone Mobile and Security system which was on backorder and took a considerable amount of time to get in. The part being held up was not their fault- it was held up by customs at the port of Houston. If you are searching for a company that you can trust to do top of the line work- including custom work with your vehicle this is your place to go to. If you happen to own a vehicle that is 50K plus or you own a exoctic vehicle - this company is not shy and knows how to professionally care and take care of your vehicle while providing you the absolute best service. I know that they do custom stereo work, alarm installations and hard wired police scanners and diffusers such as the K40 Radar Detector system. Custom lighting and pretty much anything that is not stock this company does it or will do it. They have earned my future business and I trust them with my vehicles. Including custom work that requires them to actually cut into your sheet metal body.If you are searching for the cheapest place to get the alarm or stereo put in your car- this is not the place to look. If you are searching for the absolute best quality work for a fair price (not the cheapest) but can do custom work- look no more- this company is what you you are searching for and were hoping to find.

Kaci did an amazing job on this VW tint. From what I understand, these are difficult cars to tint, as evident by it taking over 5 hours to complete the job. The care and attention to detail she put into this job was worth every penny, and I'd recommend Audio Engineers for all your customization work.

Come Correct Customs has done audio work for me on my 2004 Toyota Corolla (speaker replacements) and most recently my 2013 Honda CR-Z (Android Auto/Apple Carplay receiver install). I'm mostly a DIY'er but when I don't have time, Jay and his team will continue to be my go-to guys. Here are the reasons why:-Affordable price for labor and you get a quality finish. For audio installs, all wires were soldered, protected, secured, and labeled. This is important to make sure terminations will last a long time due to road vibrations.-Jay and his team are knowledgeable and has shown he is willing to do research or reach out to vendors for help. This is done outside of what he charges for labor.-Come Correct are very passionate and seem to love what they do. Talk to Jay about his work and you'll see.

First off let me start by saying my lights are the SHHH.. BIG SHOUT OUT to Jay and Kaci for the hard work and long hours they put in to making sure the lights on my ride look amazing. When I went in I was unsure of the process of upgrading they took me step by step on the products, cost, and time and I couldn t be happier with the service I received. Real nice people and easy to work with. Even after the service was rendered I had a small issue with my vehicle I called Jay and he was right on it. He went above and beyond my expectations. Great job!!

I had stopped at a couple of other Audio shops, but I was not very impressed, my last stop was Audio Engineers. From the moment I walked in I felt very comfortable with Jay and who I assume to be his wife. Jay was able to very quickly diagnose the issue with my car Audio as well as invited me to observe as he meticulously went about his work as he explained to me the process of what he was doing step by step. Very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and friendly. I CAME IN AS A POTENTIAL CUSTOMER AND LEFT AS A FRIEND. 5 star service

Aftermarket Spyder tail lights installed in my 2022 Silverado. New vehicle and having a lot of electronic functioning, things that are different than an older vehicle, They are very professional despite some of these negative reviews I ve seen, they do much research to ensure the job is correctly done instead of these quick, standard jobs you can have done at another company. Because my tail lights were obviously aftermarket tail lights, and I bought them from Amazon lol, there s no guarantee. I noticed the right turn signal was quickly flashing so I went back to see if maybe a connection, or something was loose and needed to be fixed. Of course it wasn t even doing that for them I pulled into the parking lot as any doctors appointment or Mechanic appointments would go, ha. Jay immediately called the Spyder Co. & went out to take the tail light out so that he could get the SKU number of it. The company said that it was ( a resistor I think he said) and the company is sending a replacement. They offered to send a replacement at no cost to either of us, Jay didn t even charge me for checking the tail light for what was going on with it. While I was there, I had put a Tonneau cover on my truck and had a question because I was not happy with how it was. I spent time in the office on the phone w/ the company I bought the cover from, Kaci was helping me, and ended up getting a shipping label sent to me and an arranged product pick up. Once the tracking label registered as being picked up, they are shipping the replacement. This company will assist me in installing the new one if I have issues doing it myself. They are a wonderful team and a great company to do business with! I trust them with my vehicle, as I ve seen nothing but due diligence and their desire to do things correctly the first time. There were conversations with manufactures and suppliers, etc. to guarantee equipment will work as intended with the truck mentioned. I recommend this company to others seeking vehicle modifications w/in their scope of practice!

Worst experience I ve ever had. They are very unprofessional and do horrible business. After being recommended to them, I was expecting more. At first it felt like I made the right choice trusting him with my project but as time went by he would just tell me what I wanted to hear. I was very patient and we had several talks about that in person. Not once or twice but multiple times, we even wrote it on paper on his behalf about how progress was supposed to go. Of course he still failed to meet the deadline that we agreed on multiple times. I spent over $15,000 with him on equipment and labor. I did this within 6 months paid in full just to get an unfinished job after my car was in his possession for 1 year and 1 month. I took my car because I was tired of hearing same excuses time after time. Now I have to spend thousands more to get the rest of the job done somewhere else.Lots of money and time wasted. On top of that I didn t even get what I asked for, regarding my Back Deck . I paid every amount I was asked to every time he was ready, even offered to pay extra to get the job done quicker, and still nothing. To anybody looking to get a project done, stay away from this shop. Never even got to hear what I spent so much money on Day of starting project- 07/22/2021Day I took my car unfinished -08/23/2022

This review is LONG overdue...if you want the short of it, I trust no one else with my vehicle other than Jay and the staff at Audio Engineers. Over the course of 6 years that I've dealt with them, they have time and time again proven they know what they're doing, whether its custom lighting, interior, and of course sound system upgrades with the cleanest installs possible. I've had multiple shops mess up my set up because I was being cheap and going elsewhere, but guess who always has to fix it? I'm sure Jay's tired of me by now lol...he's worked on both of my vehicles and I honestly couldn't be happier with the outcome and won't be using anyone but him as long as he's willing to put up with me lol.

Superb craftsmanship in every aspect. The owners are amazing and exude professionalism coupled with a sense of humor. They installed a ground/ wheel lighting effects kit in my 2018 Camaro and I'm very pleased with the results. You won't find a cheap bill here but you WILL find quality work.

I found Audio Engineers online. Called a few places around town for window tinting on a Ford F-250. The other places around town were $100-$150 more than what Audio Engineers quoted me. I did all windows plus a brow. Usually I think you get what you pay for, and since it was a work truck I went with the cheapest option. I m so glad I did because I got the best customer service and the best quality tint for cheaper than anywhere else in town! Some shops leave a mess in your truck but they not only left a new bottle of water for me to drink, but also not even a speck of dirt that wasn t already there. On top of that, I had clear tape from the place I got the truck on the roof and they took the extra time to peel it off for me and cleaned off the residue. I was so impressed by the first job that I took my new truck there and got it done too. Again, another perfect job! I love this shop and will never go anywhere else!

Jay and his crew did an awesome job! I had a head unit, four door speakers, two amps, four 8 subs, a custom box, and all the necessary wiring installed in my truck. Everything looks and sounds amazing!1) Took the time to do a sit down to find out what I wanted in an audio system and didn t try to up sell me on anything.2) Extremely knowledgeable on everything from subs and amps to automobile electrical systems and audio tuning.3) Very clean install. No loose or exposed wires. Head unit looks factory installed.4) Some equipment was delayed on shipping due to COVID but they maintained consistent contact with the affiliated company/shipping and with me to keep me updated.10/10 would recommend. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

Audio Engineers came highly recommend by a family member. I live in Conroe and made the trip to Pearland. They went above and beyond to ensure I was 100% happy with customizations and installation on my BMW. This is not your typical flea market installers. Jay and his team are craftsmen and reasonably priced. I would not trust my foreign vehicles with anyone else moving forward. I cannot praise them enough! Do yourself the favor and consider Audio Engineers before trying to save a buck with typical shops that don t value customers.

The work done on my truck was top notch. I will say Jay went over and above on this job. He knows his stuff even working on a new model truck that he has never seen before. I appreciate the attention to detail in his work. I'll be going back soon for upgrades.

This place is a find! I was looking for a place to out a back up camera, navigation system and blind side indicators on a 2002 Lexus convertible and just picked them off of Google based on reviews and nearness to me. I wanted this done as a surprise for Christmas so it would have to be done in a day so I could get my car back before my husband come home. They were so accommodating. It took 2 days so each day I would drive the car there in the morning and he would drop me off at home since I had to work. And talk about great work! The owner made an adjustment to the back up camera so it would not look so bad on the bumper. And he not only fit the radio and navigation system in the place where the old radio was, he fixed the door that closes over it! He didn't have to do that but he wanted to. This shows how much he wants his customers to be happy. It's a husband and wife team and I would go back to them in a heartbeat.

Wow... I have had a sound system in my vehicles for 18 years and have been to several different places to have them installed, but Audio Engineers has been the BEST! He certainly knows what he is doing. I have had the same JL sub for 7 years, and installed in 3 different vehicles. Jay built a custom box for me, adjusted the amp and it sounds better than it ever has before! His work is high quality, very professional and I will be going there for my car stereo from now on. If you want good sound installed by someone that knows what their doing, this is who you need to call.

Jay and his wife have an awesome business going on here! I had my speakers replaced and a new tape deck thrown in my supra. The job was done super quick despite the size of the job and Texas heat in effect, everything worked/sounded great. Jay knows the trade and he defiantly knows what he's talking about. Explains everything well and has you on the same page. Very professional and would come here again.

Had a new Alpine stereo installed yesterday in my 06 F150 Jay was very attentive and took personal pride in his work and was very thorough with his explanation of the systems capabilities and functions. Hard to find folks that still go the extra mile. Jay thank you and will certainly tell anyone in my path looking for similar work.

Audio Engineers did a fantastic job on tinting my Mustang. Looking forward to working with them on a custom Harley stereo soon. Super nice folks and extremely knowledgeable. Give them a try, you will become a regular customer as well.

Not professional at all. Speculating on how to do it all the time talking about their cost is higher than others. A professional looks at the job, does some research on the vehicle, and provides a price. This was for an estimate to install a top mount DVD player. Very unprofessional practice. I'll just go to car toys or house of sound to have to done right. Be careful of this place.
