Horrible place took them half of a year to fix my car lasted three months with no problem engine light came back on again hoping it wasn t the same code of course it was the same problem got me paying $3000 didn t fix anything try calling never answer text them you will never get some sort of communication no explanation nothing but lies took it somewhere else the part they tried to fix/replace wasn t even the problem waste of time and money I m tiredwe didn t agree on nothing not even a rebuild you simply said your module was going bad and you were charging 1500 of course I can t afford that plus payment option too horrible lend you 1500 but interest another 2k those module cost little over $100 even that replacing shouldn t take more then two week and your not evening removing the transmission to put a new one had to come back multiple times to reprogram for what to come back again so you can program it should of done it the first time and said hey you owe me 200 why am I paying you more then 1500 which suppose to be done the first time just cause you bought other that didn t work for my car and bought a special brand and that has to be my problem to pay for smh I trusted you man solenoid and module two different things and those weren t even the PROBLEM TO MY CAR IT WAS THE TORQUE CONVERTER AND IT WAS BURNING THE LUB AND THE OIL WHICH I REPLACE WITH NEW TRANSMISSION OIL BEFORE I GAVE IT TO YALL Im getting my car rebuild and replace and inspected for 1200 rn and they send pic and call me about my carCrazy how yall respond to these comment real quick but not even a pick up or send message response

I am so unhappy with there work. I took my jeep there with a real end problem and I was over charged and I took it back and they kept it for 4 months and when I got it back check engine light was on and radiator was leaking fluid and and airbag light was on. when I took it was just rear end no light on and no other problems and they charged me1300 dollars. When Ipicked it up check engine light was on and radiator was leaking and airbag light was on. I have had to replace the radiator and get the air bag fix. Please don't take your vehicle to them. They are a rip off. 4 months they had it and I went almost every day lies and more lies every other day. FYI they couldn't fixed my real end they had to take it to another shop to fix it. Lies lies and more lies

This guy did a lot of work for me - a lot! Then when I come in for some warranty work he says it wasn't his work, and not his part and what did I do? What did I do? I spent a thousand dollars at your shop is what I did (and that was for just that one job). I left my car with him anyway. I came back the next day - he hadn't even looked at it! I'm a busy man - you can't be keeping my car for days just parked there! No way, never again. The last time I left my car there I found a whole tray of McDonald's trash - they were using my vehicle to go get lunch! This dude is FIRED!!!!!!! �NO MAS!

I would never trust this shop with ac. He completely destroyed everything on this ac system. He replaced the parts twice and still have a failing system. Fittings not tight at all and leaking from not replaced orings. Never trust him. Also claimed to put a new dryer and charged for it. This that is as pulled out as as 100 percent oem with mud and stuff still on it. 2001 Chevy Tahoe ac replacement done.Service: Auto A/C replacement

My family and I drove to Houston to get our fur babies and our starter went out mind you it was cold on yesterday and drizzling rain.Got my suv towed to Yorkies and Mr.Alex went above and beyond to get us going the same day even though he was busy and didn t have a stall he did the work outside the shop.His secretary was just as sweet as can be to my family and allowed us to wait inside.Even their fur baby Olivia was great.Thanks so much for everything.We made it home.I highly recommend this place

AVOID THIS PLACE! I took my car there on a Monday told me they would check it on Tuesday a week later I had to go personally because no one would answer the phone. I get there they tell me the engine is wrong, so I asked if they saw the new parts that were replaced they told me no weird because if you are a mechanic and supposedly you check the car why wouldn't you notice.so now in order for me to take my car back they requested a $80 fee which is okay I went there to pay for the fee plus get my car and the customer service there is terrible. I am a business owner, and my priority is my customers. I have to run in back of them for them to actually give me my car back. everyone that works there should take a customer service course.

Friendly, fast, thorough and fair automotive mechanic! I'm from a small town and wasn't familiar with the local shops here. They came recommended and didn't disappoint.

They had my car 2 weeks! Same things they CLAIMED to fix I took my car to Christian brothers and they actually fixed it. They charged me knowing they didn t do a thing to my car!The communication is one-sided. First off the mechanic was an all around nice guy. Had to replace damn near everything dealing with my suspension. Thought my car was gonna be in the shop for at least 3 days. Nope I dropped my car off that morning got it back in the afternoon the next day. Wow and the prices were way less than what I got quoted at Firestone and a few other places. Half the price! I am so glad I took my car there. They will be my go to for all my car needs.

Don't usually leave reviews but this place deserves one. Took my car in for a fan replacement a month and a half ago. Did the job for an extremely cost effective rate and did it fast. Took my car in today to replace my fuel pump and they are already working on it! If your new to town like me or just want a better mechanic go here. Has best prices and does honest work!

Alex and Paula were both the bomb dot com. They were both very friendly and accommodating and got the job done fast. There was no beating around the bush and I will definitely bring any of my vehicles to Yorkis Automotive. Thank you Alex not alot of mechanics that do what they need to do and not try to keep charging you for more. Came to get my car fixed here and the owner Alex was very friendly and informative. Honest about what was going on with my car and didn t push anything else but what it was. He was kind to my children as well (and they were wild) but made me feel comfortable in the waiting area. Pricing was great and work was done in a timely manner. Definitely recommend!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Mechanic read codes with his scanner. Reset the codes and told my wife it was running well. Charged $86. Car was still running poorly as my wife drove it home. This took three or four days to get the car from the shop (pretending as though they put some time into it?)I have a code reader and had already reset the code (p1550, battery current sensor). Told mechanic this. After a few miles , car starts running bad after every reset. Told mechanic this. The battery current sensor on the car is new. I needed someone with more experience and diagnostic ability to figure out the real problem. NOT this time.I guess they could not be bothered to help me out. BTW .with my scanner I can read codes and reset them within 30 seconds. I don t charge myself $86.I am limited to uber driving for a living and I really need this car running well. Mechanic shops just aren t what they used to be ..I feel absolutely taken advantage of by this place.

We used Yorkis Automotive for more than 5 yrs until we moved out of Pasadena. We were one of their first customers when they opened shop. Alex is a really nice and kind guy and does good work at reasonable prices. He is a really honest guy as well. He would not try to sell unnecessary repairs to customers. Right now, they have a financing option as well, which help certian customers who have financial constraints. Amazing place. People are so nice. Alex knows what he's doing. He fixed my car fast and reasonable prices too both times I've been here! Secretary is a great funny woman. Alex is so kind! I definitely recommend and will make this my car shop from now on! Update: Alex is a very popular/busy man make sure you call ahead of time to find out when you can drop off the car. Worth the wait! Great place.

Either fixes stuff that shouldn't be fixed or doesn't fix anything at all after leaving your car with them for days. I am done with giving this place so many chances. Be careful coming to this place.

Took my car in for a cracked oil pan and decided to go ahead and to a timing belt service as well due to a leak. I was greeted by friendly and informative staff. Labor rate was good and quality parts were used. I don t feel like I was taken for a ride with these guys. I ll definitely be going back for any maintenance that I can t fit into my busy schedule. I took my truck in because the steering wheel is loose and it was making a knocking noise while turning. Almost $3,000 later and the steering wheel is looser than before. The first time I went to pick it up it was completely out of whack and it almost went off the road as I pulled out of their shop, and he thought this was ok. When I brought it back he put it on the lift to show me what he had fixed and I noticed it was leaking power steering fluid, which it wasn t before. He then convinced me that I needed more work to fix it, charged me for another $1100 and he replaced the steering gear box and control arms. I still have a loose steering wheel and it still makes the noise when turning. Please do not make the same mistake I did, do not go here.Service: Steering & suspension replacement

BAD ALIGNMENT EXPERIENCE - Took my truck here to be aligned because it was pulling to the left and the steering wheel was crooked, the shop is within a mile from my house so I went ahead and called them and they told me that they could align my truck for $110 the same day. I Dropped in the afternoon at 1:00 and Mr Alex had it ready for me the next day. The next day I picked it up and paid, but when I was driving it back home I noticed the steering wheel was alot more crooked and it still pulled to the left HARD, so I did a U-turn and took the truck right back to him, he told me he ll look into it the next day. This time he replaced the plate right below the oil pan claiming that it was bent and changing it will make the truck straight, but that didn t fix the issue as the steering wheel was still crooked and the truck pulled to the left. I was charged an extra $100 for the plate replacement and drove my un aligned truck back home. The next day I took it back a THIRD time, but this time it was for a refund because he couldn t get the truck aligned no matter what he did. I only got a partial refund for $110 for the alignment, but not for the plate replacement. He went ahead and started recommending me to other shops that could possibly get the job done since he was unable to fix it, BUT why advertise you can do a job, have an ALIGNMENTS banner outside your shop and then be incompetent in doing that job.After this bad experience I took my truck to Mike s Truck Toys down the road and they told me in order to have my truck aligned I needed to replace 1 upper control arm and two lower ball joints, they went ahead and did the job right the first time and my truck was driving straight as a bullet.Mr Alex was a really nice guy and maybe he is a good mechanic, but I would NOT recommend Yorkis automotive, for Alignments.

I hardly ever give ratings but I needed to give this place more than a 100 rating, I give it a 1,000 rating. Alex and his team deserve more than a 100 rating. Yorkis is my new go to place without any hesitation. If you need an awesome, experienced, honest and professional mechanic, please don't waste your time looking for one because Alex is the one you need. I guarantee you will no longer need or find someone better than Yorkis. I usually would go to other places but someone recommended Yorkis and I'm happy that I went. Not only did he fix my daughter's car, my husband also got his truck fixed by Alex and he is not one just anyone but he is so happy with the work Alex and his team. By the way. Paula is a damn good honest employee that will do whatever it takes to help. Thanks Paula, Alex and the team. You have a new customer!

I would definitely recommend this place. Alex and his staff are amazing it feels more like your apart of the family when your here. Alex is extremely personable and honest about repairs.His receptionist well there isn't enough words in the English language to describe just how Great she is at her job and that says a lot coming from the son of a mechanic I'm not easily impressed with repair shops but they definitely have made a customer for life.

I give 5 stars because every time I bring my vehicle here, the wait time is minimal, time to completion is always within a reasonable time frame especially for my busy hectic schedule. Prices here are extremely fair, and competitive. The owner is a local who deserves honest people bringing him their business for automotive needs, and the owner is a stand up guy. I ve never had him or the shop for that matter, try and charge me for services I didn t really need nor has this business ever tried to do anything unlawful or unethical with me or my vehicle, 5 stars!

Sadly can't give 5 Stars needed my ac repaired I had been told by others that it was a certain part. I brought the part for him to install which he did. That was not the issue so ok fine ... I would have assumed that he would haveat least ran a diagnostic test to tell me what WAS wrong with the AC Instead he put my car back together called and said that wasn't the problem and how much I owed him for NOT repairing the AC. I get that I owed him for his time but honestly the point was in the end to have a working AC and he was hired to address the issue. I'm down 350$ and still no air conditioning. Poor communication skills with a client. BUT... He did repair the power steering on my husband's car at a decent price and fast turnaround hence the 3 stars.

The owner is very friendly and eager to help. He seems to genuinely care for his customers. I m just a little disappointed on the outcome of my visit. I dropped my car off and was told I would get a call back tomorrow afternoon. The next day I never heard back from anyone so I called an hour before they closed and was told my car was finished that Morning . If my car was done why didn t I get a call back!? An hour after I paid and drove off, my car started having the same issues as when I first dropped it off. I called Yorkis back the next business day and informed them that I was still having the same problem. Alex assured me that he would take care of this for me and search for cheaper parts to fix my problem so It won't be so expensive. He told me he would call me back and let me know what he comes up with. IT S BEEN 2 WEEKS and I haven t heard back from him. I knew he wouldn t call back since they are so busy, things just slip his mind. Seems like he needs a secretary so that person can help him stay up on things. I ended up going to another shop and got my car repaired for free since the other shop suggested I apply for the AirCheckTexas program.

I had a motor replaced on a Lexus ES300. I bought the motor from somewhere else and they dropped it in. They were reasonable and did a good job. Everybody does not work on Lexus (replacing motor) but this place did I was so glad. FYI. They also work on Mercedes!

Honestly the best mechanic I've ever used besides my Grandfather. I drive past a shop one block away from home going to Yorkis. Alex knows all the quirks of vehicles when it comes to certain maker, model, and year. I run cars in the ground before I look for a new one and currently on a Suburban old enough to drink. From Clear Lake to Pasadena this old Suburban finally has a mechanic she can trust.
