Fernando s Mechanic shop was outstanding. I took my car in at about 10:00a.m. He called me back about an hour later to let me know what needed work. He was able to get it back to me the same day and at a great price. My car drives like it s brand new. I highly recommend his shop!

I ve been taking my car here for several months now. Every time I ve had work done to my car here I never had to wait too long for my car to be fixed. They get the job done with exceptional service. The prices are honest and fair. The mechanics are great. I will be taking my car here for any repairs from now on ,major or minor maintenance, they do it all.

Always a terrible experience. Why do I keep coming here? Because it's around the corner from my home and don't have much of a choice with an alternative vehicle. (5min walk from the gome) Don't get me wrong, the pricing for services is great! However, it's the lack of follow up on contacting customers about there vehicles. I CONSTANTLY have to contact them and reach out for an update and status on my vehicle. Granted, it is a busy shop.. But that is why anytime I do have to drop it off I drop it off the SECOND they open. You mean to tell me I dropped off my vehicle at 9am (When they open) and still have YET to receive a call about any updates. (Currently at 4:33p) I apologize that I can't simply leave my vehicle there several days and continue my daily routines without a vehicle until you guys decide it's convenient to call back. (Work, Errands, etc) Contacted them and was informed they were on lunch and they'd give me a call back. (Young man at the desk, the owners son) Waited 1.5 hrs and called them several times without answering. When showing up to the shop in person the same young man simply informed me after requesting an update and was told "Well, we looked at it but they didn't find anything wrong with the fuel pump", so how come nobody contacted me for the update? Could have called for me to explain it a second time on what the issues were. I shouldn't have had to arrive at the shop after 7 HOURS of leaving it with these guys for y'all to tell me there isn't anything wrong with it. Afterwards then replied with "Well, it's an older truck and we're really busy right now." I understand, the young man is lacking the training needed to address customers. Better service is needed here. Absolutely ludicrous waiting times with zero follow up. I'm typically a patient guy, but when it's EVERY time I bring my vehicles in for service? Terrible service. I give you guys the benefit of a doubt EVERYTIME. I get you guys are busy, but this is not service. I/WE as customers EXPECT updates and confirmations that the issues WILL be addressed. I shouldn't be having to contact you guys for my vehicle that YOU guys are servicing. You guys have all my receipts of all the services you have done for me and I'm done offering you guys my business.Update: It is now closing time. After starting the morning off at 9am GIVING the shop the fault codes read on my OBD1 Scanner, they still couldn't find anything wrong with it. Wasted my time in leaving truck there with not a SINGLE thing fixed the ENTIRE time of Operation (9am-6pm). With the same young man telling me "Do you want to come and do this (the job) yourself? Do you think it's easy taking cars and ordering parts?" Then interrupting me when I was speaking to say, "So are you going to come pick up your car?" This shop is a joke. AVOID THIS SHOP, LITERALLY NOTHING WILL BE COMPLETED as the kid saying that they have other vehicles there at the shop needing more work then mine.Reply to Shop: I'm not mechanically inclined to repair our own vehicles. Especially AC work. Never have or informed y'all that I've attempted to fix it on my own. Unsure if you are confusing me for another customer... The point I'm making is the communication is horrendous, everything mentioned into detail is the truth. If the shop chooses to call their customers liars then so be it, I have nothing to lie about. Just an FYI to your future clients.

I do not recommend this place at all. We took my son's truck because the alarm did not turn on because it deactivated and it took more than a week to tell us that it was a transmission problem and they took it to another workshop without let us know and they changed the transmission which It had never failed before taking it there 2 weeks later they delivered it and the transmission did not work and it did not make changes so we took it back because now it started but it did not run and they took it to an electrician without consulting us when we found out which electrical workshop They had it, we went and the man told us that he changed the computer that had been the problem. My son had to pay more than $1,300 to the electrician to get it out of there, and apart from that, Fernando wanted us to pay for the transmission and we had to pay for it too, even though the transmission didn't It was the problem, the most annoying thing is that if from the first day they had told us that they couldn't fix it and that we should go with an electrician or another mechanical they never asked us if we agreed. At the end, my son lost more than a month and he paid a lot of money for the mistakes of the mechanic, the skinny one from Fernando Mechanic. Do not waste your time or money in this place I give them 1 starService: Electrical

Brought my vehicle because the a/c wasn t working so I brought it here to get fixed. Told me they gave me a new compressor with a years warranty but my ac still wasn t fixed and my whole vehicle began to break down after I took it to them. I decided to just wait and take it to the dealership service center which I should ve done in the first place but wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt & get it fixed efficiently. I took the paperwork of the diagnostics the dealership gave me that clearly stated it was the new compressor that was the issue. Since it had a years warranty I thought they would fix it but was told it was my problem because they sold my actual compressor to auto zone and the one they gave me was an older rebuilt one. What really blew me was that I was told it s not my problem when I paid for a service job to be done for them to only leave me worst off then before I got there. Said they would ve fixed it for me if I brought it the same week but the warranty lasts all year?

I recommend this place. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very fair priced it would save you money to purchase your own parts. Definitely going back for all my car needs

Don t go to this place, I took my car here they told me it would be $260 then they called me saying it was something more complex they fixed it really fast and then charged me $1,445 that same afternoon the car was malfunctioning again I went back so they could do a check up once more and after four days they didn t touch it they tell you they ll buy new original parts for the car and they never show me the invoice my car is much worse than before and there s way more lights turned on in my dash. Please do not go to this place.

I called first and explained what my SUV was doing plus I would get a tune-up. Well $900+ later my is not running whatsoever. Plus when I asked why my brake lights were not fixed at first they said it was a burnt out bulb. How is that possible when my brake lights are on all the time. I went back to let them fix it but this time my husband was with me. It took 3 mechanics to mess with my rear light until the lady in the office went out and said something then suddenly my problem was more than what they could do. Yet as I was going outside one of the mechanics/ office guys took out a sensor and replaced it with either a defective one or moved it. That whole last day was fishy. DO NOT TAKE YER VEHICLE THERE IF YOU EXPECT IT TO BE COMPLETELY FIXED.In regards to your reply. I did not bring it in at 6pm. I dropped my vehicle off about 10 AM because my daughter followed me and took me to work afterwards. My shift started at 11. As for the fuel pump replacement it was done in a real mechanic shop. Then finally you DID NOT tell me to come back the next day. I have no reason to make stuff up and lie. What good would it do for me to make stuff up and lie.

Do not take your vehicle here, they do not know what they re doing. I gave them the benefit of the doubt multiple times and each time they gave me a reason to not go back. I took my truck to get the power steering pump fixed and when I got it back, my truck was making a whining noise. I let them know it wasn t doing it before and they just didn t care. They said it was the a/c belt. I paid to fix that, and nothing. Then they said it was the serpentine belt. After 2 guys failed to put the new belt back on, finally a third guy came and put it on. Still didn t fix it. Not to mention, when I went to get my truck, these guys were having a siesta and had beer bottles, food, etc. on the hood of my truck. Fast forward a few days, truck still making the noise, took it back they said it was the radiator. I pay them, I go home and as soon as I get home there s a bunch of water leaking from a radiator hose. On top of that, they charged me an extra $20 for coolant LOL what coolant???? I only saw water leaking and I checked the coolant reservoir, and there was no coolant, only water. They got a bunch of fake mechanics working there I would give them negative stars if I could.

Very honest and excellent prices. Two weeks ago I had a transmission hose changed and was only charged $10. Excellent attention from the owner towards the client! In my point of view, they have the best prices in Pasadena.

I took my Chevy Silverado to Fernando s mechanic shop after I called a mobile mechanic that left my truck running in the same condition with the same issues, I decided to give mr Fernando a shot at fixing my truck and he didn t charge me a lot the prices he has are amazingly affordable and left my truck running better than ever! I recommend Fernando s mechanic shop if you are having issues with your vehicle!!

Fernando immediately approached me when I pulled into the shop, I told him what needed to be done and he responded with the amount of the labor. He called for parts and gave me a quote reasonable to the work that needed to be done. I recommend this mechanic shop. Great service!

Everytime i have a problem with my car i bring it to these guys and the cheapest guys in pasadena with good quality work done . The only shop mechanics i trust and they even came to me when i broke down even though they arent mobile,and got me back on the road within hours highly reccomend i don't normal do reviews but these guys i reccomend.

Very good mechanic shop very good customer service and very good and well mannered staff. Parts that I wanted and name brands that I asked for were installed in my vehicle I would recommend anyone and will be going back for any of mechanical issues with my vehicle.

Este lugar es peor. The owner is a con. I paid $1500 for replacing an engine and as soon as i took off driving my car cutting out. He won t own up to it.Hopefully,,It ll be raided by ICEsoon!
