I own an 05 Dakota with transmission issues that I have taken to several places with no luck. Each one would say needs new transmission . Even though I told them it had been recently rebuilt and that I believe it s an electrical issue. They would all charge me money and the issue would still be there. Until I went to Precision automotive and Transmission. From the start Aaron and his team listened to my concerns and were very professional. Customer service is top notch and my issues were addressed and taken care of in a timely manner, which I m happy about. Don t waste your money other places go here FIRST.

Precision Automotive is not only excellent at service and knowledge of what they do, but they are so thorough with making sure everything is done with such quality. I trust them with my car! They are the best and I highly recommend them. Oh and I just have to mention the owner gets involved when needed with hands on and Aaronand Brett are who I will always ask for.

Went to get a state inspection and was immediately greeted, set up, and taken care of. While there we learned that they have the oil for my dad s truck and they made sure to find and quote him for doing an oil change plus the full service check that goes with it. Super friendly and quick - made it painless!

They helped us get new tires same week and get them installed. We asked after we dropped off the vehicle to check the alignment as well which was out of the agreed work. They helped us to find better value option that encompassed the alignment check. Despite the added work they were still able to get the vehicle out on time. We didn t realize they closed for lunch but they still let us pay and pick up the vehicle. The entire time they were professional and had great customer service.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Wheel alignment

Moved to Paris one year ago and immediately purchased a home. Trying to be a good Parisian and spend my money at local businesses. Precision Auto is right down the street from the office, so it was convenient. Made an appointment to have a Camber/Caster alignment bolt kit installed due to Nissan manufacturing their vehicles without them so you can't align the front end to prevent uneven wear of your tires. Service "Adviser" Brett House instantly ask me to fill out an information sheet even though I had provided everything to him the previous day and watched him input the info into their computer. The reason? Like the majority of unscrupulous vehicle repair shops, he DEMANDED they I sign authorization to give them the authority to check under the hood; fill fluids including fuel and then agree to pay them for this unwanted and unsolicited "service". Brett also wrote on the same work order that they were going to align the front end for $89.99 and they would then "decide" if my truck required the camber/caster bolt kit. Typical service "adviser". Unable to follow the customer's request and specific instructions and wanted written authorization to upsell unnecessary repairs and services. Needless to say I declined to permit them anywhere near my truck and left. I'll simply travel back to the Dallas area and use businesses I've already had work satisfactorily completed and trust. I owned an older version of the same truck and had completed the same front end project. I simply wanted to do the same thing to the newer model but Service "Adviser" Brett House decided the paying customer wasn't entitled to what they wanted. Service "Advisor" Brett House had other plans for my truck.

Being new to the area I've been searching for a honest, reliable, fast and friendly place to have my car worked on. Today, I no longer have to look for that place. I was amazed how fast, affordable and friendly precision was. I watched Aaron greet every person who came in like he had known them for years. Was upfront with all costs and was hands down one of the best service managers I've ever seen. Visit two years ago they decided to do things to my truck without my knowledge or permission I had to buyback my alternator. They didn't fix the jumper wire from the alternator to the same alternator, they decide to put a new alternator on there instead of fixing the issue. Had to go back three times to get my radiator top shroud, again to get a hubcap then I had to go back cuz they put the wrong thermostat in there and he cracked a joke like "since we fix the head gasket it runs cooler" he kept on like I didn't know what I was talking about. Now my truck makes a whining squealing noise at 1500 RPM all the way up to 3,000.I was lied to about seven times multiple days back-to-back "we got your heads they're back from the machine shop or installing it now" blah blah blah blah everyday was a lie, lied for 2 weeks straight.Reply..........I clearly told them what I wanted, I did not receive the bare minimum (doing stuff without my permission )I disassemble it and y'all argued with me about everything instead of doing what y'all were asked to do. Throwing a alternator on when it was necessary because someone didn't want to fix a wire . Making me buy my own part back that is a lot better than a stock alternator finding someone to put back on, I'm out more money. I wasn't wrong about anything but crack some jokes

I can only say great things about Precision. Brett, Aaron and the owner went above and beyond to help me out. I am so grateful my car was taken care of by them.Trust me I at times was not the nicest as the warranty service I was going through for my repairs kept trying to blamethe shop. When everything came out the shop was not at all in the wrong and again went above and beyond to make sure my car was fixed but not only fixed but safe to drive.Visit these guys for anything car related you will not regret it

We moved here from Missouri a few years ago and weren t sure where to take are vehicles for service/repairs. We are very happy to say we took a chance and started using Precision Automotive. Not one time have they ever made a repair without thoroughly explaining it to us as well as they give us a heads up about future repairs. They even helped us obtain financing for some of the more costly repairs. Everyone has been so kind and very professional. Oh and did I mention my favorite employee of all . Buzz. My vehicle broke down on a Friday night outside Paris Texas while on my way back to Dallas. AAA told me Precision Automotive was their recommended repair shop in town so I had it towed there. Saturday morning I explained my predicament and they quickly found a part, repaired my truck and had me on my way home by lunch time. They even picked me up at the hotel where I was staying to get me back to the shop. They were extremely empathetic, very courteous and the repair was great. I could not have wished for a faster turnaround. I am keeping their number on my contacts list. I put my car in for a diagnostic test. When I went to pick it up, the windshield had a HUGE CRACK in it that was NOT there before!! Of course, they denied that it was acquired while my car was there. With MUCH adamancy, they agreed to replace the windshield. Needless to say, I took my car elsewhere to be serviced!!

I've used precision before they do trustworthy work and customer service reps are friendly. However, I was frustrated with lack of communication. My car was in 8 days for work that should've taken 2 tops. I wasn't informed they were waiting on parts. Once the parts were in it still took 5 more days. I had to call multiple times for updates. I live paycheck to paycheck couldn't afford a rental so I was bumming rides to work etc. So I'll say expect quality work and friendly reps but long wait on returning your vehicle.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, A/C installation & repair, Oil change

Got an oil change: I appreciate the client-focused attitude of the staff and how they focus on providing a PROACTIVE perspective. They are respectful and personal. Relationships are important here. Wish they would add Grasshopper support, too!

I stopped by here on my way to Oklahoma for a day trip after stopping at a gas station and noticed gas with a burning smell coming from my car.Aaron told me he'd check under the hood, try to spot the issue then did a computer read on my check engine codes. He then explained patiently and without treating me like an idiot what each code meant (being a woman I've been treated like an idiot by men mechanics at other places).Another mechanic took my car into the shop to delve a bit more into the issue then explained (also without treating me like an idiot) in depth what exactly what was going on.In the end I decided against a fix since I was 1.5 hrs from home and they wouldn't be able to fix it till Monday. All in all they spent about an hour on my car and didn't charge me anything. These people were FANTASTIC and I wished they'd have a store in DFW cause I'd go to them over my mechanics. Definitely stop here if you're having issues.

Very Happy!!! The Team there at Precision has always done me very well. I brought my Corvette in for a balance and maybe a remount on some tires and wheels. During the process they found many small issues that we also took care of while I was there. They are quick and thorough, and I was in and back out in no time. Friendly ground of guys so even during the wait it was great company!!!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Greeted me immediately when I walked into business.Confirmed reason for visit/service.Within minutes my vehicle was taken to service area.Service(s) performed as request with exception of tire rotation- not needed at this time.Given full explanations of service performed with receipt.My vehicle was pulled to the front and I departed after thanked for trusting my vehicle service to them.Services: Tires, Oil change

They rebuilt the transmission, rear brakes, rear shocks, radiator hoses, and replaced all fluids on my F250. I took my truck there based on a veteran friend s recommendation. The communication with Aaron was fantastic, even though sometimes the news was frustrating. I have waited to post this review to make sure I had no issues. I have already driven approximately 1500 miles, towed both my trike and 14k fifth wheel and the old truck preformed flawlessly. We had several issues because I live in Oklahoma where DEF and EGR can be deleted. With the newly rebuilt transmission and PCM in the motor could not communicate correctly. They towed the truck to Oklahoma twice so the shop that did my delete could reflash the motor and transmission with out an extra charge. They made sure the truck was flawless before I picked it up. At first I was frustrated at how long it took, but I am thankful they were so thorough because the truck is running great. I have over 200k on this truck and she runs better now than when I first bought it. With truck prices so high, I did not want to pay 80k or more for another truck. I highly recommend this repair facility. I am not from Paris but my car broke down there and was towed to Precision. Even though they were closed, James had my car diagnosed quickly. Communication was great. I had to have the car towed again to a dealership due to warranty issues. James did all the leg work for me. He even had one of his employees drive me across the highway to my hotel so I didn t have to walk across. The guys at Precision Automotive are freaking Rock Stars!!! We broke down 350 miles from home on Friday evening (3/17/23) about 4:30 pm. Had our truck towed to Precision Automotive. They went to work on Saturday morning and had the issue figured out quickly. After letting us know what it would cost to fix the problem, they had it ready to go by 10:30 am. Professional, kind, honest and courteous! We are so blessed and thankful for their amazing staff!!!I can t recommend Precision Automotive enough!!!Service: Engine repair

After talking to Brett, I left my car for them to do a diagnostic and see what was wrong with it. A couple of days later Brett called with a list of things.Brett has been very professional, amicable and understanding all the time. I ended up taking the car because it is too old to spend that much money repairing it.Also, at the end Brett gave me a report with pictures! Of all the things that were wrong.
