Older gent went by the name of Big Block trained a guy to put exhaust on my truck, real nice guy, fun to talk with, and learned some stuff while there. The shop got me in fast, was friendly, and didn't try to upsale me while I was there. Real laid back and friendly. I'll gladly be back again.

I've used Hicks for many years and have been completely satisfied each time. They have fair prices and, most importantly, they're honest. They've never tried to upsale me. Highly recommend!

Got me right in to get my exhaust fixed for inspection 430 on a Friday. The muffler tech was great he got me a great sounding muffler and inspected truck after.

I had them put Flowmaster exhaust on my sons truck and it was quick and easy. They did everything I asked and it sounds GREAT!

Since the founder David retired, this place has gone to hell, rude people in the front, I witnessed their salesman game an old lady into buying a battery, and an alternator...neither one was needed...well that's how they stay in business. Beware...the work nowadays is sub par, the rudeness is off the chart, the lies are abundant....sorry David, but this is the truth. I give them months to change their ways or be just another vacant building.....

I took my car in today for A/C service. Everyone I spoke to was very polite. I was told ahead of time what would be done. The price was reasonable. It was great service, which is what I have received every time I have taken my car to them.

Probably give the best alignment in town, but i asked them to check a few things, but when i picked my truck up speedometer doesn't work at all now.. passenger side mirror busted, headlight light switch broken, kept my truck for 5-6days for an alignment and to check on speed sensor and i picked it up with more repairs than it was brought in with.. pretty disappointed considering they stuck it all back together so i could find out as soon as i pulled out mirrors fell off and switch fell into the floor board..thats just some shady dealings. Wouldnt suggest anything repairs beyond alignment or tires

Great place to have your muffler, alignments, whatever your vehicle needs are in this line of work you won't go wrong going to Hicks Tire & Muffler. We highly recommend them & may I say Gary will certainly get you in & your work is done professionally. They were all friendly, courteous, reasonably priced. Thanks Randle job well done.

I haven't done business with them, but they were pretty shady when my mother-in-law took her vehicle there. I'm guessing that if the job is more time consuming than usual, they don't want to bother with it. Told her that everything that she wanted fixed was fine, when she knew for a fact that it wasn't. Would have been nice if they just said that they didn't want to bother with it, instead of saying that everything was in working order.

From my first call to see if they could put a hitch on my car, I knew I would be in good hands. There is a very noticeable and sincere emphasis on customer service. And their technical skills are excellent. Good prices sealed the deal. Thanks Hicks!

If I could leave them no stars, I would. Twice I've taken my Toyota Avalon up there because my friends keep telling me how good these guys are. My friends live to play practical jokes on me. The best thing about this place is the guys who sweep the floors. I was charged over $600 for repairs to my vehicle and waited 3 days for them to get the right parts. When I got my car back, it started severely pulling to the side that they worked on. I researched the symptoms and decided that instead of taking my car back and being told more money was needed to fix what they should have already fixed, I did the job myself. Yeah it took me 3 days as well but , I'm not a mechanic. It's fixed now and my lesson is learned. I will not take my car there again and neither should you. Sorry guys but it is what it is.

They had the tires I wanted in stock, at a competitive price. On top of that, I came in without an appointment & they had all 4 installed with me on the road in about 30 minutes! This all happened while the place was busy. Great service guys, keep up the good work.

Beware! Cashier is a thief! Returned a U Haul trailer at their location on a one-way rental and they charged my credit card five days extra rental AFTER they received the trailer. I'm employed by the State of Texas and our office has video surveillance cameras that clearly show there wasn't a trailer hitched to my truck during those five days. Had to go the long route through U Haul for an investigation. Once that is completed, I will contact the local District Attorney to have charges filed for credit card abuse. Bonus is that I'm a senior citizen so that makes this crime a 3rd degree felony, punishable by up to two years in a TDCJ prison unit. She is such a pretty young thing; she will be VERY popular at one of the female units.

I've been doing business with Hicks for years now. They have the best customer service around. Reasonable rates, Experienced Employees, Honest about repair needs, and quick turnaround. This is a second generation business with a hard earned reputation. I would send my wife, mother or mother in law there any day.......and I like all three of them .

They got me in on a busy afternoon after just suggesting an appointment the day before, so they try to fit everyone in fairly. And they did a great job removing my rear mufflers and resonator. I highly recommend.

I've done business with these guys before. Work was always done quick and right. This time around I get a guy who did not care to much about my needs and was sarcastic about it to boot. The owner, backed this fella up for the way he treated me, the customer. Thats fine by me. I'll take all my work and my customers work somewhere else.

When I took my car to have a serpentine belt replaced. I did not realize they did not do it. One night I ended up stranded on a Farm Road 2 in the morning. Took my car back thinking it was alternator. And found out that they never replaced my belt. I would not have had that much problem if I'd have known the begin with they didn't do what I asked. it could have ruined my car. Thinking about taking my business elsewhere. Even though I've had better service before there.

Honest people. They tell you right up front what the problem is and just how much it will be. Not like alot of other places here in town that try to find other problems and either warn you into fixing them or scare you into adding things on the repairs. Ive had my truck here 4 or 5 times in the last 2 years and always had a speedy repair and good communication with the mechanics. I will keep taking my vehicles here because i feel like i can trust these people.

You've got to be kidding me.It's not the batteries problem it's the alternator.You don't charge someone for something that is not broke.My son has already gone through two batteries.His had it looked over by someone else.It's the alternator you just don't want to do it correctly.Lousy service!!!!

This automotive repair service is Very Honest and Kind. I will always use them for all my vehicle service. They will save you money and get you back on the road again, as soon as possible.Several great men there and at least one wonderful lady at the front desk to greet you, but one person in particular is a kind hard working man name Block.Please pray for Block; he is waiting for knee surgery. I needed tires for 1 ton Chevy dually. Best price within 50 miles and I looked at a LOT of places. And the service is always friendly and fast. Once they even fixed a flat for my mom at no cost. I will always try Hicks FIRST before any other place.

Had an oil leak took my vehicle to the fellas at Hicks mufflers had to leave it over the weekend but I'm just so glad I'm back driving with no problems. Good customer service friendly environment.

We returned a U-haul here and got the best customer service and friendly people. We are new to the area but Hicks is who our tire/muffler store will be hands down!
