Kind and helpful people who go out of their way to provide customer service. I've called newer shops to make inquiries but in my estimation service is important. Dr's Creek is my choice now since I bought my old boat six years ago!

What a great experience! My fishing buddy and I were on Cooper Lake when the starter solenoid on my Bass Tracker died. We got back to shore on the trolling motor, and eventually found our way to Doc Creek Marine. Although their garage was full of other boats, they immediately put mine inside and went so work. They replaced the solenoid, tightened the starter, replaced the battery, tightened the trailer tongue wheel and had us driving out with the repaired boat in about an hour. Friendly competent mechanics, focused priority for people they didn t even know. Thanks, guys! We were out on the lake the next day, and caught more fish!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Battery inspection/service

I will bring my boat to them every time!Doctor's creek marine is the best place in town to have your boat fixed. I brought it in for what I thought was going to be a really big issue. They found it to be a smaller issue than i thought and fixed it with-in a couple of days. Their pricing is very fair, and because of that, I was able to have them fix some fiberglass work I needed done. They even repainted it to match the bottom of the boat.Hands down the best experience I have had with a boat repair shop, and nothing but the best quality of work is what you can expect from Doc's Marine!Thanks again guys! I have full confidence in my boat when I take it out, Because of you!

I just showed up one day because I had engine problems, and told them I had lines in the water and needed to get to them,they instantly went to work on it and got me back going. Took my 1956 Evinrude Fastwin in for repair in September and he told me it'd be a couple weeks. Come January it still wasn't ready. I received not one call. Then the bill was gonna be $500 for spark plugs carb rebuilt and 2 coils and fuel pump. Said he replaced the water pump I said he didnt and he checked the paperwork and realized he didn't. The fuel pump apparently still wasn't in. So I decided to take my motor anyways and he let me out for $300 plus the $50 initial charge. He was agitated with me. Told me that's why he hates working on them small motors. if I waited for the fuel pump the bill would have been 500. No communication is my only complaint and miscommunication. Other than that Rick knows what he's doing.Service: General repairs & maintenance

First our pontoon boat and now our new deck boat have been serviced and cared for by Rick and his team for the 5 years that we have lived here. This is truly down home service that we love. In addition to excellent work and reasonable price that we love, we have appreciated the professional ADVICE that we have needed many times. We have called Rick many times with questions about minor things and in most cases he was able to talk us through the issue and avoid taking our boat in for service. And Rick has taken whatever time is needed for questions and advice every time we've had a service call. Charged us for work and indicated parts were replaced that were NOT (long story for how we figured this out but they definitely were not). If Rick does work for you, I strongly suggest you ask for the old parts that came off the the motor. Moreover, I'd order them yourself because his mark up was more than impressive (0.86 nut for $10 each). Definitely will not be using this shop again! When we figured out what he did not do, he proceeded to cuss us out but there was no question that the work was not done.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Water pump service

Within last two weeks have had two different problems took care of both was done very fast and reasonable priced will be my go-to place from now on. Time is 1 year later now. My boat had bad miss, took it to them on Monday they called me on Thursday had it ready, took it out Friday it ran perfect. My boat stopped working after July 4th weekend so we asked around on the Lake Bonham homeowner Facebook page for a reliable mobile boat repair person. We got a reference for you guy's so I called around 6:00 pm on a Thursday night and Justin was out to our house and was able to diagnose and fix the issue within minutes. Thanks Justin and Rick for having a dependable business to help people in need. I had reached out to several other similar companies but didn't even get any response. Decent place to take your boat. Theyll come up with any reason to overcharge you but they get you on the lake so it is what it is. Ended up spending 550 bucks on an impeller replacement......
