I went here to visit a friend of mine who sometimes lives there months at a time. I got to spend three weeks here and it was the absolute BEST TIME of my life. I wish I come back here as often as I could. And as a single female I feel totally comfortable in this environment. Everybody made me feel so welcome! I would call this place home if I could.

We love our home resort. Been going for about 6 weeks now. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Everything is clean. The pool and hot tub have been great. The Birdcage is awesome. If you need to feel free this is the place.

The owner is awesome! We can't wait to come back and will be here bringin in the New Year!Edit: Still the best resort in Texas!This resort gets better every time we visit. We have some of the best times when we come for the weekends. Will be planning many more. Some of the friendliest people you will ever meet.

This was my first time at a clothing optional resort, and Butch and Phyllis made me feel welcome and comfortable. The resort is very well managed and the facilities are clean and well maintained. From talking with other guests I've learned that isn't always the case at other similar resorts. And speaking of the other guests: many were regulars and clearly knew each other for a long time, but were open to me walking up and introducing myself and including me in conversations at the pool and hot tub. Oh and as nice as the pictures of the place look, it is even better in person! How often can you say that!? The entire location is beautiful and restful, while at the same time providing a place for fun and diversion, for example at the Birdcage. It was a wonderful experience and I very much want to come back.Update: 4/3/22 I finally got to return to this amazing place and it is even better than before. There are more cabins to rent, the club (the Birdcage) has been completely renovated to better mirror a dance club/disco location. The facilities are extremely well maintained and everyone is as friendly as they were on my first trip. Congratulations to Butch Manuel for an excellent job and an excellent location!

Absolutely awesome place. Very clean, above average for this type of resort. We love it. Very welcoming of all people. Has a big, clean pool with lots of umbrellas all around the pool. Has hot tub and a big dance club. The owner is super friendly and accommodating for whatever your needs. We would come back any chance we could.

Loved this place! I've been to many others in TX & LA & this one is the warmest and the friendliest! I don't mean to put the others down but Butch works hard to makes you feel welcome. He us a tour on a weekday when he had work to do. I felt like I had been coming here for years!

The best place I've ever been. In the United States. As a single female I always feel safe and comfortable here. The owner is amazing! Absolutely love it. Keep coming back every time I'm in TX.

Beautiful campground, cleanest bathrooms and showers we have ever experienced. Everyone helpful and friendly and the owners take a very personal interest in making sure your visit is everything you want it to be. There is never any pressure to do anything that makes you uncomfortable! The Saturday evening event was so much fun. You wont be disappointed here.

My wife and I had a fabulous weekend at the Purple Peacock. It is a new first-rate resort that has a bright future. We were impressed with the attention to details in the construction and furnishing of the well-designed facilities. This resort offers a fun, relaxing atmosphere we rarely experience at other resorts. The host and other guests were fantastic. We felt like one of the regular crowd on our first visit. We plan to return soon for more fun at the PPR.

Was totally blown away by the attention to detail and the cleanliness of this resort . The location is gorgeous with all well manicured trees, high end bedding used in the guest houses l, beautiful pool with the 2 swing chairs, and the owners make you feel so welcomed just don't walk beyond the permanent houses! Lol. I will be returning every chance I get! Been to several resorts and this one beats every resort in every category!! No more traveling out of state. I found my new place !!!

We love this place! It has more amenities than the previous clothing optional campgrounds we have been to. Everyone is friendly. We have been here since November and are coming back next fall!!!

We have been members for 2 years. 4 different times this year the owner has messed up our reservations, that were made in February 2020. The final straw was the last two mistakes he made. We had reservations for Halloween and New Years Eve for two RV full hookups. Halloween the owner had over booked so he notified us and asked us if we could only bring one camper. So, we agreed we would. We confronted him while we were there Halloween and reminded him that we had reservations for New Years and he told us, yes I have you for one spot. We told him we had reserved 2 spots back in February. He told us that he remembered us doing that. Then told us that he was overbooked again but he will make it right for us. After contacting him today he informed us that we only had one spot and it was our problem. What kind of business treats it s members like that. We will never return

I moved to the resort on May 11, 2016. I have enjoyed watching the park grow. It seems to have a bubble of positive energy surrounding it. Lots of fun with old friends and new friends. Love this place

We have been to a lot of campgrounds, this one was by far the most expensive! 145 a night! I do not recommend this campground and would not go back

Great clothing optional RV resort. Covered (during winter) pool, a hot tub and club house (dancing, shared meals, TVs for game watching etc.).

Looking @Webb cite onlyWay over priced (I can do without the fancy purple designs) rules,rules,rules do I get charges to breathe or just inquire about this place this property is not a Legend or is itNot to be ugly but ...... this place should rethink the whole package, some people as myself look @ this and shakes headNo rv victim hereI do my researches
