I was getting ready for a race weekend and found an unexpected exhaust leak. Wasn t sure if they dealt with motorcycle stuff but I stopped by and they were more than happy to help!! Excellent experience, they saved my whole weekend! A+++, highly recommend!

This is the best place ran by the best people! My husband and I no longer live in the area but have no problem driving in to have them make sure our vehicles are in the best shape possible. When you find trustworthy car guys you don't veer from them. We absolutely recommend this shop!

On a recent trip to Palestine, my vehicle become overheated. An oil change establishment diagnosed it as a bad water pump. JR Muffler was recommended. They took my vehicle in & got the pump replaced within hours. Shane & his crew was very knowledgeable & courteous. It s not often you find a gem like JR Muffler

Super thankful for their amazing customer service! We were in the middle of testing at DPS and the taillight on the car wasn t working. Came here and they took a look and found it unplugged. Plugged it in and it was good and working. Very grateful for their help!

Great experience, super friendly and knowledgeable staff plus quick service and a fair price!!Our camping road trip from SC to OK to TX wore out the muffler on my F350 diesel truck in Elkhart. JR Muffler in Palestine was highly recommended. Turned out I needed a new muffler. Shane had just what I wanted, and needed! They got me in and out in record time - on a Friday afternoon.Being from out of state needing auto repairs can be a scary experience, NOT here, I felt like family, not a needy stranger in distress.If you are local and have not tried JR Muffler and Auto service, you are missing out on a great opportunity for service and muffler repair/replacement.A plus in my book, thank you all for staying open after hours to get me back on the road safety!Service: Exhaust

My van has an undercarriage generator which had recently had some work done on it by someone else. The exhaust pipe welds were holey and the pipe hanger bolts were two inches from the ground. The wonderful staff at JR Discount Mufflers custom made a new exhaust pipe for me. I am so very happy with their work and can- do attitude. The difference is amazing! Thanks guys! Your awesome!

I had a problem with my cadlylic converter and my o2 sensor I had my car tested atO' reiley's and they recommended them they are the best at what they do.I will definitely take my car back there if I have a problem with it

They do a wonderful job with great service. The owner is friendly and cares for his customer and he makes sure they get the best service. They have good rates and it's affordable, especially compared to the prices around town. Two thumbs up. They have been there for a long time and continue to give quality service. They're trustworthy, honest and dependable.

I was told, my engine needing replacing because of 2 cylinders had no compression. Cost for replacing engine. They quoted me $5100. I took it to J&R Muffler for 2nd opinion. They found only 2 things wrong. A bad radiator hose and a bad vacuum leak. Truck runs like new. Cost $235. I will be Definitely taking my truck back to J&R Muffler for all my truck repairs from now on. Thanks Guys at J&R Muffler for a Great Job!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I dropped by to let these guys take a look at putting some new mufflers on my old ford. Shane took a look at it and said no problem. The work was completed really quickly. They also took care of a rear brake issue for me. Shane and the guys are awesome. Quality work at a fair price. Highly recommend.

All the guys there are friendly, professional, very well experienced in their jobs, fair & honest! I ve taken my vehicles there for over 20 yrs and don t trust anyone except Shane and his crew. For pretty much all your vehicle needs, Jr Muffler is the place to go!!!!Shane also sells tumbler mugs that him and his wife customize the way you want and do a amazing job. I have known Shane since he was a teenager helping his dad next door to a place I worked. He has always been very respectful and friendly and never has a bad word for anyone. I take my vehicles to him for inspection every year and have no issues because I make sure they will actually PASS the vehicle inspection requirements that are set by the state of Texas.

I spoke with Shane on the phone about installing headers on my truck and he agreed to do the job. I drove 30 miles to meet with him about some details of the installation. I sensed his disinterest in doing the work. Shane admitted he didn't really want to do the job. He wasted my time and gas when he could have shown some integrity by calling me and opting to pass on the job. I can't oblige any lack of integrity when I'm paying someone to do work for me. I hold myself to the highest degree of integrity in my business. It gets me return business and great client relations. I can't speak about any other employees at JR, but if Shane worked for me, he'd be looking for another job tomorrow.
