We have two vehicles that Dan maintains for us. He is very meticulous and thorough in his work. His honesty and integrity are beyond reproach. He finds the problem before replacing parts, much the way a mechanic should. We are very pleased with his work and his pricing. I would never let anyone work on my vehicles as I was a mechanic also before I was disabled and could no longer do this type of work. I have no problem letting Dan work on my cars because of his work ethic.

I took my truck in to have brake pads replaced, and supposedly put good ones on front and back. Then I had issues with my brake assist light still coming on so took back. He ran diagnostics and after that all my service lights came on, also brakes got hard to press down. Took to J&R automotive and they had to replace the pressure vacuum pump and a valve on brake fluid. Worked fine after that. Now have squeaking noise when I brake. Come to find out he put cheaper brake pads on front than back. Do not go here. Evidently he doesnt have proper equipment to service your vehicle and not sure why he charged me for 4 good brake pads but evidently only got 2.

I wish I had met Mr. Dan earlier in my search for an honest, reputable and knowledgeable mechanic! I've now taken him both of my vehicles for repairs and he has done great jobs on both --- he is sensitive to budgetary needs and goes above and beyond, in his research in finding the best rates for parts as well as offering competitive pricing. He has 38 years of experience and it shows in his quality work! I cannot recommend Mr. Dan enough. He is humble, kind, honest, fair and knowledgeable -- that is a rare combination these days, especially for a mechanic. His wife is super sweet and lovely too, as his assistant.

My mum just had knee surgery and she switched her truck out with my little sister with a small Mazda SUV so she could get in and out of the car easier. Well as I m driving my mum home from the hospital I could hear a bunch of rear knocking and clanking type sounds, especially on bumps. (And you know Palestine roads are the freaking worse) I immediately knew it was her shocks/struts. And it was reasaaaalllyy badddd.I told them my parents we COULD NOT wait to get this fixed, and I know most shops like J&B wouldn t be able to get in asap. Dan had great reviews, and his soft spoken wife is very sweet on the phone) But sometimes hard to hear on the ) I asked if there was anyway they could get it fixed by tomorrow night, as we need it to get my mum to Physical Therapy. He did!Turns out one of the shocks/struts was completely blown. He saved our butts! BIG time. Then gave us a couple recommendations to get a couple things replaced soon, but the car was safe and we could wait.Fast service, Dan is so personable, he knows his stuff, and has incredibly integrity. That s something I feel mechanics and and many shops lack these days. My parents and I are beyond thankful to him and his wife. :)And while I wish I could never come here again bc our vehicles never have another problem , Dan is the man. And he will always be the one my family will go to now.and recommend to everyone.

We were traveling from Oklahoma and the brakes messed up on my truck. Dan s Automotive Repair was basically the only one open on a Saturday and had good reviews so I called. He was very polite as well as his wife, so I sent my truck to him. He found nothing major wrong with the truck and even delivered it back to our hotel when he was thru. Super service and customer service was even better. I would definitely recommend using them. Thank you again!Service: Brakes

Our truck's water pump broke on the way to Texarkana. Dan was the only mechanic open on Saturday. He and his wife got his us fixed up and on the road again in just a few hours. Extremely reasonable fee. They were very kind and helped us out of a jam. They are a Godsend. We highly recommend them.

Had some scary issues with my truck thinking it was going to be the end of it. He figured out it was a simple issue but he was very thorough.. Him and his wife seemed so genuine and sincere from the first moment I first spoke to them. SUCH reasonable pricing. I will definitely be using them again. I needed my brake pads changed, and he and his wife did a wonderful job . They make such a great team I really enjoyed my experience with the place , I definitely recommend this place to everyone they have the most reasonable prices in all of Palestine and actually all around

Dan is one of the best, honest mechanics that I ever seen. He has a lot of experiences that can help you. I will come to ask him for help again on Monday.

I sent my 98 ram to him asking for a few specifics things the main thing I wanted fixed was incorrectly diagnosed and the electrical circuit was not fixed. Every repair he did minus a radiator replacement and a light switch I have had to go back and do 1200 wasted just to have to send it to someone who actually wanted to do the work and get it done right terrible experience I would not recommend this place to anyone everService: General repairs & maintenance
