Great customer experience! They have snack and drinks up front while you wait and do their best to get you out quickly. They check your whole vehicle and let you know anything they see, and give you advice on the best way to move forward. The pricing is also right on par with most other well known shops in the area. All recommend!

NO< NO< and NO! nothing but liars. cant follow directions. Madison at the front desk is a liar and doesnt know how to listen and respect people's wishes. this place is wayyy short of employees! expect to wait 1-2 weeks before they even diagnose the cars issue. then plan on being lied to all the way down the line! they do NOT have enough mechanics. wondering if they do them wrong like they do their clients?! if not where is everyone? i will never ever use them again. not to be trusted! a lot like elkhart auto in elkhart. ** i did find 2 great shops after the fact. pls do your research, and dont trust a word these people say! BOTH the above listed shops are a very bad idea!

If you want fair prices, and more importantly an honest opinion as to what is wrong with your vehicle, Kelly has been a mechanic for over 40 years and in business 30 years. You will not find a better man or shop to take your car to.

I bought a car in which the ac compressor had been replaced about a year before. It went out, and I was quoted 2 grand to fix it. 2 grand. It lasted only a year! So my husband went in to replace it. Come to find out, some of the screws were stripped, and there was metal in the compressor and now I not only have to replace it but have it flushed. The last people in there was ace :( Also, that was the original compressor not a new one so I don't know if the previous owners paid for a rebuild or a replacement but if they paid for replacement that wasn't it. I won't be using these guys. I now use J and B auto. Btw, I bought a compressor at OReilleys that has a lifetime warranty so if you guys go to ace make sure you have an adequate warranty on yours.

Joey Watson did an amazing job with my vehical. His timing was perfect he found the issue and had it fixed my vehical runs smoothly better then before. I recommend ace automotive to anyone who needs there vehicles serviced or repaired. This is where I want my car serviced at. Brought my vehicle in to have fixed. Was charged $500 for parts I didn't need and the problem wasn't fixed. Then told to bring it back, and because it was a bring back, I wouldn't be charged again. They totally went back on their word & refused to accept responsibility. Never again.

I was in Palestine because my mother was in the hospital. While there, my check engine light came on. After talking with several people at the hospital they recommended Carroll's Automotive. That's when I met Ashley. I let her know that I needed to be back in Dallas the next day for a medical procedure of my own. She was amazing, she said "You take care of your momma and we will take care of your car!" That is exactly what they did. They went above and beyond to get me back on the road. Every business should have an Ashley as an employee. I hope Carroll's appreciates her. She is knowledgeable, caring, and professional. If I ever need car repairs when in Palestine, I will definitely go back to Carroll's Automotive.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

The service was great and inexpensive. They provide beverages and snacks while you wait as well TV and wifi. I interacted with Steve who was very professional and pleasant. There was an older lady that was Curt when I initially arrived. She imposed herself while I was talking to Steve and insisted that they were not able to do state inspections at the time, but Steve said they were and my services were completed. Definitely would recommend

My whole experience with Carroll's was terrible.I was charged $3,500.00 for all of this work they said that I needed to have done and when I got my truck back it was still doing the same thing that it was when I brought it to them.I decided to give them an opportunity to fix it and they proceed to tell me that it was going to be another $500.00 for additional repairs. I stupidly paid them hoping that they were being honest with me. I get my truck back and the issue is still not fixed.At this point I was not taking it back to them, so I took it to a dealership mechanic. The other mechanic told me that the work they did was not done correctly. He fixed the issue and and told me that if I chose to take them to small claims court he would testify that the work they did was not right.I decided not to take them to court, but I did try to get a refund on the work they did. They gave me the runaround and I never got my money back. They are liars and as far as I am concerned they are thieves. I wouldn't give these people another cent.UPDATE: After posting my review I was contacted and told that they were sorry and that this should have never happened. They told me they would get me a refund on the work that I had to have done by another mechanic, but all they did was give me the runaround. I never received a refund, and they had the audacity to ask me to take down the review. It's just another example of why people should not do business with them. Looks like it is time to take them to court.

Carroll's is awesome! Brought my Dodge in with the front end in bad shape. They got me back on the road just in time to start my new job. I will never take my truck anywhere else. Highly recommend.

I am new to the area so when I first moved here we needed some work done on my mother s vehicle. I checked around and Carroll s had good reviews. Ashley is amazing! She has been super from the get go. Knowledgeable and friendly and straightforward. Love it!I had to take my vehicle in for some work and Ashley said that they might have it for a couple of days. Ashley called me later that day .... the young mechanic was done! Wow! Thank you!So several months later January 2022 I went back to have my oil changed. The mechanic Joe took my vehicle back. A few minutes later he came out and told me that I needed new control arms on both sides! And I better do it soon because it was really bad. Hummm I asked for an oil change and you are inspecting my control arms? Anyway I said ok thanks. About 10 to 15 minutes later he came out and said the oil change was done. I thought that was pretty fast but ok. So this week Monday the Change Oil Soon light kept coming on. So I took it to another auto shop. I asked for the oil change and please look at my control arms. Nope nothing wrong with the control arms and the oil was black! They said it was never changed! Not sure what has happened to Carrols over the months but DO NOT TAKE your vehicle there!!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Oil change

Drove a hour. A waist of gas and time.Dont let them tell you they do frount end alignments . Was not informed over the phone that they take your vehicle off site to get frount end alignment done and it could take all day because they dont do it themselfs . Not to mention the guy that was laid out on the couch when we got there very uninformative and unprofessional .

Had a blow out on a trailer on the way home 150 miles from home with a heavy load of wood. The blow out was because the wood wasn't positioned right they even helped us move the wood forward so we wouldn't have another blow out and pricing wasn't bad. They could have taken advantage of a out of of towner in a desperate situation but they didn't. Great staff. Forever grateful thanks.

Great service, was finishing up with an elderly woman when I got there and was so nice to her. How I'd hope someone would treat my grandma. Gave me some freebie stuff for the kids/dogs. From what I seen, great place!

Very friendly employees don't mind carrying them just random conversation with the customers that are waiting and do excellent work and we'll shoot you 100%, what's wrong with your vehicle what they can and cannot do to help you out to get you going I will not use any of the shop. Chris Warren

I really want to thank Car Doctor(carrolls tire service) for helping me when I was definitely in need I brought my vehicle in this past Saturday in the morning and they stayed late to fix the mechanical issue that I had they treated me with such kindness. In this day and age you do not find people as caring And willing to go that extra mile to help someone out so thank you so much the truck is running great. The staff is absolutely outstanding and they actually care about their customers I would recommend to anyone Who wants great service give them a try you won t regret it

My first and last visit They told me a part was bad and needed to be replaced. The price they wanted to replace was really high so I had it taken to two other places to check. Both said the part was fine and did not need to be replaced. Carroll s also charged me $88.00 for a diagnosis and did not tell me that they charged this fee before hand

I honestly dont know where to start on complimenting these folks! I was in a pretty bad predicament and Danny saved the day! He worked so hard to get me the best prices on parts for my car and getting my car fixed and back on the road safely! They were a true Blessing and Im so thankful to every one of them at Carols! I will drive from Tyler anytime I need my car serviced, tires rotated, or anything else that needs done! I will recommend them to everyone i know. Thank you again Danny!!!

I just got my ac compressor replaced and i am so excited about how fast it was done. It was less than half the prices we were quoted around palestine and i would recommend them to everyone. My grandfather use to own Cooks Automotive Machine Shop and i never trusted anyone but them and now i can say i will only use Carrolls now. Just awesome speed and service. Thank you so very much.

The only reason I came back was because I had some warranty work they had to do. Once again, cant get parts in, not ready today....maybe tomorrow....same old run around. Been talking to them for two weeks, idk why they couldn't have already had the parts ready before I brought my truck. Over priced and I'm not sure if they know what they are doing. Or maybe because the work they are doing this time is free since the last work they did broke down. Guess they just dont get in a hurry for free customer service.A day and a half later.... Ok, well, got my truck back. They made it right after dealing with warranty issues with Cutshaw Chevrolet. Cutshaw wouldnt stand behind their warranty but Carrols did so I appreciate that part. They took the hit and got a new throttle body. It wasnt the expensive Chevrolet part that I bought but as long as it runs I'm happy. I was also assured that if the aftermarket one messed up, they would stand to their word. I'm satisfied with the outcome.

The waiting room is real nice because thats where they hold you hostage.that way they can justify what they charged you.when I asked why so high on labor I was told quote.(Thats what we get)may be great for locals but not if you are traveling through.

so I went to get my driver side tire patched this morning It took them about a hour and a half before they took the tire off. then they call me to tell me that my passenger side has a broke stud that fell in the hub. I go back to check on it they took my passenger side tire off and really couldnt tell me why. and they tried to charge me $106 to fix it. I think that was a little shady knowing that he was messing with the wrong side. They got the stud out of there but the trouble I had to go through to get them to fix what they shouldn't have been messing with wasn't worth it. and told me not to come back when I came back to get my truck.

Kelly Carroll is a wonderful and respectful business man and person. This standard of excellence shows in his employees working for him. Massive pothole on-ramp to 45S and 79. Slashed right front tire and we hobbled it to Centerville on runflat. Kelly came in the Wrecker all the way from Palestine and very professionally drove my wife and I to back to Houston like a champ! Couldn t be more pleased with his service and professionalism, Guy is a solid human being. If I could give 6 stars I would
