Charged me $500 for a dry rotted tire that busted after 5 hours. And instead of coming to help he tried to charge me $1250 for two tires.dudes a rip off straight up call someone else and save a hell of a lot of money. The tire he put on my trailer was from 22 and it was dry rotted but somehow he said it s my fault , here s the new tire lol 5 hours of using it

Well I just wanted to share Artemio just serviced our RV today it would not start and we were at Sonora Cavrerns RV site. He went above and beyond and found the issue it was our relay. He drive to the shop came back out in the relay and we are back on the road. Artemio is an amazing mechanic our Angel just wanted you to know

After our car broke down between Sonora and Ozona, Hernandez helped to replace our alternator and get us back on the road. After the part was in hand we were back on the road within a few hours. Much appreciated and highly recommended!

These people definitely know what they are doing. Spent several hours the night before at a different shop next to a truck stop and they were unable to fix the issue, but these people got us fixed up and on our way. Very professional and great service. Overall, very pleased with the service.

We called him to come out about 10 pm on I-10 we were at the park area mile marker 349. He told us what was wrong with our Diesel RV, great response and great customer service. We got back on the road and back home safe. Can't say enough good things about them, very fair on price.

Thank you Hernandez for fixing my trailer axle you did an awesome job .thx for replacing my mudflaps , breaks rear axle hub rear axle and replacing my airbag I will recommend him if anyone is in his area and have problems with a semi truck or pretty much any truck or car you have and trailers on top of that good job Hernandez

My Jeep was overheating on the highway I pulled off on an exit and saw a Hernandez Diesel truck helping a tractor trailer. I asked if he could see why my check engine light was on. He came and helped me out, was very professional & courteous. Complete life saver.

I wanted to say a big thank you toMr. Hernandez and the team at Hernandez diesel shop tire and repair!I have a Freightliner Cascadia and just had a new engine put in less than 5000 miles ago. When out of nowhere stop check engine light came on and my tractor started blowing black smoke! Of course I freaked out not knowing what what s going on with it.Mr. Hernandez came out he knows his stuff one of the best mechanics ever!!!Diagnosed the problem which was a faulty fuel injector which was dumping a bunch of fuel into my cylinder. I was really in the middle of nowhere and he actually had to come twice the first day to diagnose it and then I had to get parts from the Freightliner dealer.Anyway the truck is running fantastic now ever since they did the work on it!Thanks again I will be forever grateful!!!

These guys guy drove 30+ miles to theMiddle of nowhere on I10 to bring us 2 new tires and change them for us. Took them 40 minutes to get here and 20 minutes to change and mount the 2 tires!!! Thank you so much for coming to our rescue! The cost was very reasonable for what they did!

Mr. Hernandez and his wife are the real deal. When we broke down on the side of the highway in Ozona TX they came to us right there and helped us. They were prompt honest and very friendly, would highly recommend them if you experience car trouble in the area. The prices were fair and unlike others in the area (we called all the other shops and dealt with some not too pleasant responses) they were actually willing and able to help us. They were fast, efficient and because they could travel to us, we spent way less money than we would have had we been towed to a shop.

Mr.Hernandez is a stand up guy I called others in ozona and they answered me w rudeness as if I was calling the wrong number,anyways he made me feel like I was part of his Family he took me to a restaurant and said I ll be back for you when I m done ,he helped me unload my cargo and put it on another semi!I tried to pay him and he literally said no it s fine and that he will make sure i was running first!I told my family of the experience and they all said wowwww !!big hearted person and super smart I recommend him !

I'm a 23 year old female traveling alone and Mr. Artemio Hernandez came to my rescue when my own insurance, Allstate, wouldn't! I sat on the side of I-10 for two hours while I was on hold with my incompetent insurance company, my mother located him, when my insurance couldn't locate me, he was there in 30 minutes, he didn't just come and switch out my flat with a spare he patched my tire roadside! He was effective, efficient, and very very friendly! Not to mention extremely fair on his prices, I may not have been in good hands with Allstate, but I was with Artemio!

The leaf springs on my RV broke on IH 10. I called several places for towing, each wanting $800 or more to tow to places other than Qzona. I called Hernandez Diesel because they had good reviews. They came out promptly and carefully escorted me to their shop after they examined my trailer. They worked nearly all day and allowed me to drive to San Angelo to get the parts so save money and expedite the work. They were always honest. I asked them to repack the wheel bearings and they also replaced two of four brake hubs that were shot. All of this was done well. It's been close to a month but we have pulled our trailer extensively with no other problems. The shop was very modest, without a bunch of fancy equipment, but they had a hard-work ethic and the tools needed for the work, just nothing fancy. Most important, is that they were always honest with me and discussed clearly all of the work that was needed. I am thankful for this because other shops could have easily taken advantage of us. Anytime I''m in their area, i will always call them first. It saved us a lot of problems and was very competitive in their pricing of work. Don't expect anything fancy, just hard work, reasonable pricing, and honesty. I couldn't ask for anything more and I highly recommend them. Bobby Duvall, (retired law enforcement).

My truck overheated and loves told me it was the EGR cooler but this shop told me it that was not true.. they diagnosed it and pulled the water pump and found a wrench in there left from the last mechanic. They got me back on the road the same day my parts came in. I highly recommend them. And their prices are very reasonable

Fantastic repair shop! My son took five of his friends in my 1997 Chevy high top van from our home in Austin, Texas, all the way out to Big Bend National Park. Unfortunately the van quit on him on I-10, way out in the middle of nowhere West Texas. As luck would have it, he had cell phone service. He was able to get a tow truck out to his location, and he also found Hernandez Diesel Shop on-line, and saw that they had good reviews. The problem with the van was the coil pack, which as I found out through two mechanics, does not throw a code. Therefore, I believe the mechanics at Hernandez had to trouble shoot the old fashion way (Spark? Fuel? Compression?, etc.) to find the cause of the problem. Fortunately they found the problem and fixed it in a reasonable amount of time. My son and his friends had to stay the night on Ozona because the auto parts store was closed for the evening. However, the very next day Hernandez got the part, put it in, and my son and his friends were back on their way home after a week at Big Bend. I also check with my own mechanic, and brother who works at General Motors, and they both agreed that the price Hernandez charged for the repair was very reasonable. My son said Hernandez repair shop was not fancy, and did not look like a national repair shop chain like NTB or Pep Boys. However, they were able to get all the work done to complete the repair. I am very pleased that my son was able to get the help he needed to get our van back on the road! If you ever find yourself in need of car repairs out near Ozona, Texas, I highly recommend the folks at Hernandez!Sincerely,AL in Austin, Texas.

We broke down outside of Ozona with a shredded tire on our trailer. We did not have the tool to remove the lug lock to remove the tire. We called Hernandez Diesel and they came out quickly with the tools to remove the locks, changed our tire and we were on our way to Arizona. They were also very friendly. Highly recommend them

We payed almost 2,000 in repairs he did last week and 1 of the tires he got for us blew this week almost in the same area. We called him for 2 days and left messages and no return call still!! Not happy with his service at all!

If I could give this place a zero I would. I m in the exact location google says, it says open 24 hours, it says it s open, but when we get here there is nobody there and nobody answering the phone. This is an emergency and this company is not here. Also the building is sketchy and has no signage.
