I called around 1/115am on Monday, April 8, 2024 to see if there was any availability. I had called a couple of other places, and they were sold out except for 1 place that wanted $250 for a room. My son and I were trying to make it to Liberty Hill, TX, but it was getting too dark and exhausting, we completely forgot about the eclipse and all the millions of people heading into Texas. We were making a brief stop to visit family and on to North Carolina...not there for the eclipse but did get to witness it!The clerk that checked us in at 130ish am was extremely pleasant and was there to check us out at 7am. I had to call them about an hour after we left because my son left his ring. She found it and is going to mail it to my home. The room was very clean, especially the bathroom. I was very pleasantly surprised and happy that we didn't check into a "roach motel".

There were large cigarette ash trays sitting on all the air conditioners which was a little off-putting. The room was clean and did not smell. I am glad it was cool out. Before leaving for dinner, I turned on the air conditioner to cool off the room. When we got back an hour later the room was the same temperature as the outside, so I do not know if the air conditioning did anything. I was woken in the night several times due to road noise. The room had a microwave and a small refrigerator, but we did not need them.Food & drinks: Breakfast in the morning was very limited, pre-packaged chocolate doughnuts, muffins, apples, two types of cereal, juice and coffee.

3/21/24- America's Best Value - Ozona, TX.Very small rooms and very uncomfortable to stay. Need to find better place. Not worth the spend. Not enough space to keep personal baggage and travel items. Not ergonomically designed for travelers.Rooms are clean and well kept. AC blows on your face. Showers small, clean, Need to watch while bathing as no room to stretch. could hit the walls. not very comfortable. Good for only for one person for a night stay. Continental BF and coffee, only at 6 am. Close to I10

This place was a lifesaver, literally. I had been driving a fully loaded 26-foot truck westbound on I-10 all night. By the time I hit Sonora I was so sleepy that I could barely keep my eyes open. I contacted every motel there, but none of them would allow early check-in. (It was about 7 a.m.) So I drove on toward Ozona. I barely made it to the city limits; I knew I was moments from passing out. Just as I did in Sonora, I called every motel asking about early check-in. When I called Americas Best, I was greeted with a friendly voice (unlike at the other motels) and was told I could indeed check in early. What a relief! The location was convenient, the service was great, the room was adequate, and I was able to sleep for about four hours before I had to get back on the road. Thank you, Americas Best Ozona!

Clean rooms that are modern. Comes with microwave, refrigerator, and tv with satellite. Each room comes with a temperature controlled heating/cooling unit so you can adjust the temperature of the room to your liking. Nice restroom- not "spacious" but not tiny either. Wifi available. All in all, pretty basic for a hotel/motel. You can drive right up to your room. Laundry facilities are available. Take aways: a good room at a good price!Rooms: Comes with bed, lamps, microwave, refrigerator, tv with satellite, ac/heating unit, small dinner table, small business desk, iron, ironing table, and of course restroom with shower only facilities. Restroom is geriatric friendly.Nearby activities: Main steeet, the park, restaurants, and gas stations are literally a mile down the road- within walking distance reallySafety: You drive right up to your room. It's pretty quiet at night. The sherif is co stantly patroling so I would doubt there would ever be any trouble.Food & drinks: Vending machine on site. Other than that, restaurants are in walking distance.Noteworthy details: Just off the highway- easy to get to I-10 or

I am yet to understand how this motel has such a great rating. It is misleading! I would never ever stay here if the reviews were realistic to what we ve seen. The whole motel smells like mix of curry and cigarettes, a smell that is infused to the walls and every surface. The AMOUNT of ashtrays outside the room was disgusting. No blankets. NO BLANKETS! Just a thin sheet! When asked about it was said oh, we have a heater! .. what!?????Old beds, metal on metal sounds coming from the inside of it all night. There s no breakfast either.Again.. so many things that makes no sense but raises suspicion upon the overall rating.

I almost didn't come here because of the distance from the freeway, but I am glad I did. This is a safe, clean and quiet little hotel with professional courtesies. For a quick stop to get off the road, you could do a lot worse. So grateful for this little motel.Rooms: -clean room w no sign of bed bugs-clean bathroom/shower w tile and ADA accessibility. Hot water with descent water pressure.-the beds leave a little to be desired, but it could have been much worse.-and quiet! The distance from the freeway means no traffic noise from.the I-10.

We stayed here on the 3rd night of a long roadtrip. It was my favorite hotel thus far - and almost the complete opposite of the hotel we stayed on the previous night.Only a $10 fee for my large dog. I loved that I could park right at our front door. We were placed in a room far away from other guests, so I didn't worry if my dog barked at a random noise. The bathroom appeared to be recently remodeled and the shower was hot and enjoyable. No bathtub. Furniture placement was a bit cramped (can't get to the closet when the bathroom door is open), but that's not a dealbreaker. The man at the front desk was friendly. They had a few breakfast options (cereal, fresh fruit, and prepackaged Hostess sweets). I appreciated having a microwave and fridge in the room. The heater worked well, although did smell a little funky when I first turned it on (but that's typical). The best part may have been the cleanliness of the linens! They SMELLED GREAT - as if I washed them myself and used scent beads! Of all the hotels we've stayed at so far, these were the only linens with a fresh scent. If I had to do this roadtrip again, I would plan to stop in Ozona and stay at this hotel again. Overall, it was very peaceful and relaxing and lead to a great night's sleep. Also, Pepe's down the street is a great place to get dinner. The lady there was super friendly, the food was delicious, and the restaurant was full of repeat customers. Really everything about Ozona was quite lovely.

What a beautiful hotel! This is what we need more of! This hotel is VERY well kept, it's quaint and impeccably clean! Nice beds and comfortable. Did I mention CLEAN? Such a nice place, better than some big name hotels I've been to. The owners are such nice people. I met the gentleman out front repairing a rock wall that had been hit,,, he was doing excellent work,,,,I stopped to visit with him, and he's actually the guy that has renovated the whole hotel. His work is impeccable. DEFINITELY A #1 hotel to stay while in Ozona

The owner is kind and the rooms are renovated and very clean. It s a motel but it s very safe, well lit, and there are multiple locks on the door. You can tell that the whoever cleans the room does an excellent job. It s very no frills but for the price it does the trick. The bed was comfortable. I d recommend this motel to anyone looking for a cheap place to stay. The room I stayed in was very small but as I was alone I didn t need much room. The tv has cable. Pet fees were only $15 per pet and I believe he discounted the fee to $12.Rooms: Very cleanSafety: Sleepy town, not much action happening. Very well lit.

This hotel was surprising very clean and smelled great. I ve stayed at dozens hotels for work and this one has to be one of the top on my list. The rooms are clean including the bed , floor and bathrooms. Rekha is very nice and is always there if I need anything. She goes above and beyond for this place and it can be shown with how well kept this place is. Definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting or working near the area.

Great little place to stay. Love being able to pull right up to the room. Very clean. Smelled nice and fresh. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was a selection of individually wrapped pastries, coffee, orange juice, cereal, and mandarines. Nothing fancy but good enough to get you going. It was also very quiet. The rooms are small but just enough for a night stay. The room had a fresh coat of paint, new flooring, and the bathroom also looked freshly remodeled. Definitely be back.

This place is so very nice. It's a roadside motel, BUT care and love have been taken. The parking lot is clean, very well lit, and cute benches are set out for each room to give it a little charm. The lobby is spotless, cleanest breakfast area and coffee maker I have ever seen. The room has had new flooring put in and while some things are dated, it smelled great, was immaculate, and was surprisingly homey and comfortably decorated. Small room, but there was ample space for luggage, a surprinsingly nice table and chairs, a cute little dresser, very large mini fridge and freezer, and a microwave. The guest laundry was again spotlessly clean, well lit, inviting. Honestly, I have paid much more money for worse rooms so many times. Just stay here! It isn't fancy, BUT all the things that truly matter have been lovingly seen to.

The room was adequate. It was clean, but small. Took quite a while for the room to cool down as the a/c was not on when we arrivedThe tv was small with mediocre receptionWe were only there to sleep & shower, so it was fine for what we needed. It could use some updates including better, more substantial towels. I did like the walk in shower & there was plenty of hot water. If you're interested in a quick overnight stay, then this is the place for you.

This place is totally awesome. Clean rooms, clean and neatly-swept grounds, easy parking, very friendly owners. For the price we were so impressed. We were here with our young kids and felt comfortable and safe. The owners should feel very proud of how well they run this property. Last time I stayed at one in this price range I could barely sleep it was so sketch. This one I would even recommend to my own mama!

The many awards in the check-in area already suggest that this place offers outstanding value for the price. The owners seem to be very dedicated. We were so surprised by how clean our room smelled! I ve literally never stayed in a hotel smelling that clean!

This was a great experience.. If you're into that 1950s 1960's motel style then this is the place for you . The place has been remodeled and the premises are very clean. It's about the size of a one bedroom so it's not a full size hotel. It's a great stop for a drive from Las Vegas to Austinbathroom remodeled to something modern looking .the shower is fine and also remodeled

A week and a half into our 3 week road trip and this was by far the nicest hotel we stayed in! This place puts most Marriotts, Hiltons, and Best Western Pluses that I've stayed at to shame - and it's a fraction of the price!Everything was super clean and the bed was really comfortable.Hands down the best place to stay between Waco and Big Bend National Park!
