Horrible experience. I am 23 years old and recently started my own lawn business. I had 29 customers before last week. First I brought my mower there to see if they could simply get the bolts to my blades off, so I could change them. I also wanted to check my alternator. The bolts were rounded off, but not change it. I didn t have the correct tools, but could ve rented them for very cheap. He said he could get it done quick for me because he understood I had clients to attend to. After calling them every three days, they did not start working on it for two weeks, after I had lost 8 clients. This was detrimental to my business. To make matters worse, they call and tell me it s gonna be $670 for what I was asking for. Mind blown, I immediately said stop working on it and asked what ammount they had already done in work. He said $570. The only thing they got done was switch out my battery (which I didn t ask for) tell me my alternator was bad, cut out one bolt, switched out the two others.they claimed it took 3 1/2 hours at 105$ an hour absolutely drained my bank account without me every seeing it coming! They never called to give a quote until they did $570 worth of work gonna have to grind this month to get back up! I m not sure how to post pics in here but the invoice is ridiculous.

I recently stumbled in K&S. I was in need of a new mower as my old craftsman tractor mower needed to be replaced and had been giving me trouble since the first day I purchased it. I talked to Mr. Chase. I told him my needs and he took me straight to the mower he felt was right for me (ZT/HD 60 ) I left the store that day and went home to do my own research. I returned the next day with a long list of question for Chase. Some answers I already knew and some I didn t. He was able to answer every question I had even the technical questions. This impressed me. This kid knows his stuff! I never felt pressured or felt like I was mislead at all. The purchase was easy.After mowing my 5 acres in literally 1.5 hours ( This normally took me 6-7 hours on my old mower) I was blown away by the performance of this mower! It did everything I was told plus more. I put it to the test mowing over large dirt bike jumps and in some cases 4 tall grass and weeds. This mower is a beast! The engine runs super smooth and the mower ride was so much better then what I was use to. I m very happy with this purchase and in a way life changing. So much more time for activities now! Haha!Thanks again guys for the mower and great service! Also the store is very clean, organized and easy to navigate!

Took my Toro Titan in for normal service. They quoted 2 weeks it took 3 1/2. Used it twice since getting it back. Runs really rough, the seat kill-switch is all messed up and it s having starter issues. This placed used to be reliable - but NO MORE. Gonna cost me another few hundred bucks to fix their screw ups! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Shout out to K&S Outdoors-Mauriceville. Gravely and Exmark dealer in Mauriceville Texas As you are aware time is money during mowing season. After half day of work I had to bring in my mower in to have a repair done. I normally drive over there to get parts and do the repair my self. While I was there to purchase the spindle I asked what the cost to install the part. After she told me what it would cost. Needless to say today I brought in and they changed it in rapid time. Repaired while I waited . There was no drop it off and it will be ready in three days . Thanks to the two technicians who worked on it and to Marcie for setting it all up. Now all better for work tomorrow. For you Gravely and xmark parts and equipment that s the place to be.

UPDATE: After 2-3 months, an in person request to speak to the owner, a phone call, an email, and this review, nobody has reached out to me. As far as me, my friends, and my family are concerned, they lost a lot of business. SETX should be better than this.My experience with K&S has not been acceptable.- I was charged to repair their mistake after getting some routine maintenance (they deny making the damage)- When the tech was demonstrating to me the fixed mower, a washer fell off because they forgot the pin.- I agreed to pay for parts at the quoted price. I reread the receipt when I got home and saw that the amount was what we discussed but half of it ($130) was labor. I agreed to parts at the amount discussed.-An employee at the front desk let out a loud string of curse words in front of other employees and customers because a customer had called with a question about a part he googled. He later came in and was treated with kindness from that same lady.-Nobody has apologized.-I notified the front desk this will be my last time doing business with them and asked for Kenneth (the owner) to contact me. I'll update this review if he contacts me.-After this experience, I'll be selling my Gravely 42" to ensure I'm never forced to do business with K&S as they are the only Gravely service within a few hours of my home.

Parts department well stocked and reasonable prices. Lady very friendly and knowledgeable. I have bought many parts for older Toro zero turn and every trip they have parts in stock.

We took 2 chainsaws to be serviced. We were told that he would have at least 1 fixed in a week. It took close to 6 weeks to get BOTH of them back. We were charged $170 to have them fixed. Now nether one of them will start. These place has gone WAY down in service. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Nice clean facility stocked full of zero turn mowers of all sizes. Parts department is great and with reasonable prices. Peeked through the service door and looks like a pretty large department.

From start to finish this group of friendly and helpful staff can do it all. I coordinated my purchase via e-mail with Mandi. She was very knowledgeable about the product and explained to me how K & S Outdoor made buying experiences different than the big box stores. They care! They go the extra mile to make sure your happy with your purchase. And service after the sale? They're their for you when you have any issues.... Big or small. They register your product for you and take care of the warranty paperwork if there is an issue with your equipment. They have a great selection and really know what they're doing! I would highly recommend you make a short drive from anywhere in the Golden Triangle and spend your hard earned money wisely at K & S Outdoor next time you make tour lawn tractor purchase. They even gave me 2 FREE coupons for off-season oil changes and check-ups on your equipment. Who else does that? I even got a binder to put all of my paperwork and my owners manual for the tractor and engine along with receipt. Truly a one-stop-shop. Thank you guys and keep up the good work! They just gained a customer for life!

Bought all my outdoor equipment from here when it came to my gravely 48 inch mower it used oil right from the start I talked with the owner and he said it was normal now warranty is out and now uses half a quart each use. When it came to trimmer it was cutting up from the start and wouldn't do nothing about it till warranty was out then wanted to charge me when I tried standing my ground on this the owner's son came getting in my face telling me to leave

Needed a belt for my Gravely and the lady in parts was nice and helpful in what I needed. Spoke with the service advisor about a question I had about my ztr and he steered me in the right direction. I've been dealing with K and S since 2008 and always helpful.

Great lady's in parts. I went there to buy mulching blades for my riding lawn mower, but one lady suggested I buy these other cheater blades, so I bought them, the best blades I've ever bough! I have a lot of leaves in my yard did not have nothing left after installing the blades.

Incredibly disappointing. They kept my mower for over a month just to change blades. Their service department manager only intermittently showed up to work and was presumably fired. Their receptionist repeatedly lied to me over the phone, promising delivery the next day on more than one occasion. And once the mower was finally returned, the blades were so imbalanced the new belt (that I didn t ask for) slipped off and I still don t have a functional mower. It would have been more efficient to just set a pile of money on fire than to have called K & S Outdoor Power. Thanks for nothing.

We bought a Mule pro fx a couple of months ago. Had a good buying experience and returned this past week for first service. I keep my Mule out of town so they set up a time on short notice and I dropped it off and they had it ready next day. I would recommend them and buy again in the future.

Wish I could leave a zero starts because our Kawasaki Brute Force four wheeler was STOLEN from this place. And somehow it wasn t even notice that it was missing till we showed up to get it. After FOUR MONTHS of calling and being told they hadn t got to it yet, we showed up to take it to another shop and they had no idea where it was, eyes shifting all over the place and stuttering all over their words. Police report was filed... And they re trying to say they aren t responsible. Do NOT bring anything there...

No stars for this place, their service sucks big time, they take too long to get your mower back. Last time it took 2 months and two weeks. I have a brand new mower and the drive belt already has come off twice! I should of never bought a mower from this place they suck!!!!

They are doing warranty work for Lowes for my Husqvarna lawnmower. They have had it for a month. And have repeatedly hung up on me when I call for an update. Today after talking to the warranty provider they called K&S and were told that it hadn't been checked yet. This is the kind of service they provide.

I had a truck load to pickup here. Very hard to get in the lot. Its very small location. They dont mind making you wait. The man made it nice and clear as he continued a phone conversation, ignoring that I was there, that I could wait. Not the most pleasant people to deal with.
