Stayed 4 nights at these wonderful cabins. The cabins are well equipped and clean.Owners Bernadette and Rick are very welcoming and kind. Bernadette stopped by each day to make sure we had everything we needed! We cooked dinner every night on the charcoal grill available right in front of the cabin. We found lots of interesting things to do in the area, the rest of the time we just enjoyed the lakefront and sunsets from the large deck.Definitely recommend!

What I sweet little place, the cabin are fully equipped with the guest in mind. It's right off the lake. Each cabin is lite and made ready for you when you arrive. They have boat rentals and other equipment to use. Its a nice place if you just wanna get away for a weekend or more. What a pleasure to have stayed here. The water was a little low, but that didnt stop us from fishing and having a good time. We took a day trip around town and to national park. We got to sit around a cozy fire and make use of the BBQ pits. Thanks for accommodating us.

Beautiful, relaxing, and they really thought of everything. You literally just need to show up with your extra clothes. The cabins are very well stocked and cozy, including extra blankets, towels, dishes and even coffee ready to go. The owners are amazing, super friendly, had great tips on where to fish, restaurant reviews, and honestly I can go on forever. An amazing place to get away and unwind.

My sister and I just got back from a trip to this place. All I can say is what a treat it was. Excellent cabin stocked with any and everything you need. Just bring food and drinks. They think of everything! Quiet and clean. The owners Rick and Bernadette are wonderful people. We will definitely be back and hope to bring more family! Thanks for a great time!!!

I want to start by saying my friends and I had a wonderful, peaceful and beautiful weekend.Would I recommend this place. Yes and No.Why you ask ..let s start with YES -Beautiful and PeacefulNO - The space 8 & 9 we were in was so TIGHT and we didn t have any yard space! We were literally on top of each other! It s not made and do not recommend big RV. Great spot for a small trailer about 30 Feet max!!!We literally scratched and broke some stuff in our Grand Design Momentum 376th.Please trim the trees in the second entrance. It scratched our trailer. Try to level your ground a bit more! We barely got our trailer back on the hitch. Cut off or do something with the tree stumps! It broke our trailer now we have to get the leveler fixed. We didn t meet the owners for they had a weekend getaway but Rick was very kind.I am not giving this place a bad review but only to let others know it s not made for big rigs like Grand Design. Take note and don t put anything longer than 30ft or tall trailers.Thank you for a wonderful weekend

We're from Houston and needed a few days to just relax, do nothing and unwind. We stayed in RV#2 just a very short walking distance from the lake. We could see the lake and incredible sunsets from the RV and hear the lake lapping against the shore at night. We arrived on a Monday and stayed until Thursday so we had the entire grounds essentially to ourselves. Bernadette says it gets busy on weekends so we were glad to have come on weekdays!.The RV was very clean and comfy. Bernadette and Rick were super -nice people and were always so easy to communicate with. They have boats for rental for a reasonable fee.Bernadette recommended Lakeside Tex Mex Restaurant so we tried it, and it was pretty darn good!Since we were there for such a short time we didn't get a chance to explore the area but we enjoyed just sitting outside and enjoying nature. Thanks Bernadette and Rick!

Came for a quick weekend visit and really enjoyed the stay. We were very close to the lake and there was enough room between each site for us to feel comfortable. The friendly owner was prominently on site and met us as we arrived late Friday to help guide us in easily. While the nearby state parks are always out of day passes on the weekends, we hiked through a portion of the Lone Star Trail in the San Houston Natl Forest instead. It was about a 40-minute drive from here. We ll be visiting again

This is a small family friendly RV park. The owners are a super nice couple that are very accommodating and want to ensure your stays is good. We stayed at RV spot #6 that had a really nice overhanging deck that looked out over the lake and fishing pier. The spot had a full RV hook up with 150 satellite TV channels available. The water level is shallow enough for small kids to swim safely. Two fishing piers and canoes and kayaks for rent to go play on the water. Bring your cast net so you can catch fresh bait from the pier. Dog friendly RV park as well.

I love this place! Bernadette & Rich are 2 of the nicest people that I have ever met! I moved in the RV park in August and I love it! I don't plan on leaving anytime soon. The Cabins are gorgeous and so is the property! Great for a weekend getaway! Come check it out! Its not just for the summer, would make a cozy winter weekend getaway too! Right on the Lake! Beautiful sunsets!

Clean, comfortable rooms.. AC works great.. small refrigerator inside and one on the front porch for drinks. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils. Electric stove. The only drawback is inconsistent hot/cold water. When showering it was either scalding or freezing. No comfortable setting.

It's not real fancy, it's even on heavily used road and the water is only 2' deep. However, the cabins are fully equipped, cozy, and I have met some darn cool folks! If I plan on fishing or won't be here but if I'm chilling with family and looking for a laid spot this will be it.

This has been a nightmare. I wish we never booked our stay here. We went, we stayed a couple of hours and were not comfortable with the accommodations so we left. We felt like the AC was not adequately cooling the cabin to a comfortable level. There was a pile of debris in front of the cabin and there was lots of debris and trash in the lake. My wife wrote a bad review and the owner decides to threaten us with litigation then proceeds to stalk our social media pages and post our full names in retaliation. We don t even care about getting the money back that he refuses to refund. Rather than stay professional, the owners made this very personal. For your own sanity and piece of mind do not stay here and risk dealing with what we are now dealing with.

This is really in response to the message left on David's ratng. Unfortunately, the system would not allow me to add it there so I am having to do it here. We have a very close knit family and, due to covid, we have not been able to get together for around two years. David and his wife live over four hours drive time from Livingston. He had viewed your web site and had taken off vacation days. They were very excited about coming. Needless to say they were very disappointed when you canceled on us. I'm not saying his comment was right or wrong. I think he just expressed how he felt. We rented three cabins plus one RV. A few families were coming Saturday just for the day totaling about 25. I don't believe we would've been that large of an obstruction to renters in the other two cabins not in our group. As far as the other parks turning us down.....we had already checked them out. They DID NOT turn us down. State Park - booked through December. We did not check the pavilion at Onalaska because there were no cabins. KOA mostly booked; did not have cabins available that were close together. Northshore opened their arms to us, but we really needed larger cabins. We did not mean for things to turn out this way. B & R looks like an awesome place to stay; sorry we were not given the chance to try it. Liz

Family and I spent the weekend here and enjoyed it very much! Short drive to Livingston State Park which is a plus! Also, there s a small ice cream shop about a 2 minute drive that has delicious ice cream!

Very clean well stocked kitchen with cooking items. Nice docks for fishing. February the water is too cold to catch. Fish are too deep.

My wife and I with our two dogs stayed there and we loved the place, owners are very friendly and helpful, the water front is not that large, the water is shallow excellent for the dogs to play.

It was a nice place to stay. Cabin was very clean. One room had a sour smell but it was right on the lake and we enjoyed our time.

This is a lovely lakeside retreat! The view is gorgeous and our cabin was very well maintained. We had a great time!

Very familiar . We liked the cabins, you can do water activities safe for kids because the water is shallow, they rent padlow boats, canoe , also they sell the wood for your fire pit (in case you need it) and you can bring your boat but note that the depth of the boat launch can be 2 to 3 feet

I guess people are not allowed to change there plans or mind. We never said anything about your park. The change saved us money.
