Worst experience ever with Watkins after having them work on one of our trucks that was in good working conditions we send it here to add winch to expand our services and after Watkins finished the truck we were very happy with their service and quality of work. After we went to go pick up truck we started hearing a grinding noise coming from transmission 20 mins after driving truck home, we called owner and asked if they touched any of the transmission due to that noise which was unusual he automatically said no so we believe him and continued to drive truck despite the grinding noise (we were under the impression that it was a throw out bearing) noise got worse and made it Home to Hobbs. Once we got here my mechanic started checking the grinding noise and we heard the trans transmission gurgling (sounded like it was boiling) after removing the drain plug which was hand tight we come to realize that Watkins forgot to add fluid to our transmission after adding a PTO for our winch. We called Tony and he automatically assumed responsibility and we told him to come and pick up truck due to that we didn t want to cause any more damage and he automatically suggested for us to take it to Gresham s Industrial Supply. We added oil to transmission and tried driving but over drive was already damaged due to that we drove it at highway speeds but we wanted to just get our truck fixed so we drove transmission on 9th gear and made it to shop to have it looked at. After two weeks I call to check on status and due to mechanic stating that it was not the lack of oil that ruined transmission that it was improper use that ruined the truck (a driver with 20 years and has driven this truck for over 2 years with no issues) Watkins is not assuming responsibility. I find it very unethical from their part due to that we called them when we left right away second we sent him pics of the transmission not having oil (pic attached) and still after that he is saying it s not his fault. Please be advised that Watkins won t make themselves accountable for their own actions on anything that they mess up.

Brought in a 7.3 to 2011 front end conversion truck and wanted a 11-16 road armour custom fitted. They made me some new brackets and had my truck back later that day. Great prices and everyone I talked to was super nice. Might have to go back and get the rear bumper custom fit as well.
