This was my first time visiting Valvoline, I did not know what to expect. I'm glad I chose this location close to home. Everyone was super friendly and very helpful. They explained every step that was done to my vehicle. They young lady helping me was very knowledgeable. I really enjoyed when the manager Elva walked up to my car and asked how I was doing and how has my visit going. Overall GREAT experience, I will recommend and will be back.

Had them change my oil for the first time and now my car is leaking oil and they also said they did a battery test then my alternator goes out not even 4 days after I visited the store

Service techs need more training. And to double check their work. I used Avis lube for years before Valvoline bought them out and never an issue. Since then I ve had a cross threaded drain plug, 2 oil filters on 2 different vehicles left loose and leaked oil. One leaving me stranded on the side of Hwy in Kermit. Valvoline paid for the oil and filter that I had to get in town to repair, but the time lost and headache was a major pain. Especially after you just had your oil changed 1 hour before that.

I'd have been going to this place for a while now, and the last visit wasn't good at all. I asked for some more work on my car and they really didn't Respond back on what kind of work I want. All they did for me was an oil change, they do a good job but feel like they were rushing. So my conclusion is if you're trying to get oil change and go there. Anything else don't bother.Service: Oil change

Great customer service. I went right before they closed like 3 min (I hate to do this but my phone internet sucked and couldn't load the business hours), they took me in with no issues and were fast and efficient. Very friendly staff!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Got my oil changed here 100's of times and no problems. Got it changed on 10/21/2023 and had the worst service ever. Technician pulled the oil filter out and leaked oil all over the front bumper and didn't clean it up. Got oil all over the hood latches and hood front not cleaning the oil from the gloves they are wearing doing the oul change. Not impressed.

Horrible customer service and work they do. whenever they pulled out my fuel filter, They placed it on top of the engine. It was just draining on top of the engine. I told them to remove that filter on top of the engine and the response was, I ll get it off as soon as I put the new filter in. That s how much they care about the work they do. Never going back there To get service done on my truck. definitely don t recommend taking your truck there. valvoline on Faudree. (Jacob) if I can give them less than one star, I would.

Waited almost an hour just to be told they didn t have my air filter when it was finally my turn. This is my fourth bad experience In a row with this shop. Go somewhere else.

This is really sad I been doing mechanic for YEARS!!!!!! I thought these reviews were crazy or wrong but there all true. Yesterday I went go and get a oil change and see how they are doing it, everything that they were saying was wrong including changing the oil. I already know what was the problem with my car and they said "oh it the oil pan" i started laughing at them . if I was the manager I would fired most those people starting with the guy that has a weird helmet and his buddy too.

I Only Went to check my coolant level and without asking Elva offered to check my oil, Aired up my tires, she checked my windshield fluid! All with a beautiful smile in her face!! Even tho it was just a check up my experience at this location has been by far the best l've been too all thanks to Ms. Elva! I will definitely be coming back for my oil change! Without a doubt the easiest, fastest, customer service friendly experience I've had!!Services: Tires, Air conditioning, Oil change

Stay away from this place! They failed to do the most important step of an oil change. ADD THE OIL. My sons car needs a new engine now and they fail to take responsibility. They closed the claim we submitted because they "have proof" that they added oil. But they cant seem to have an explanation of where the oil went. The car had no leaks, they confirmed it. I have evidence of them admitting that the car had not a drop of oil and 5 minutes later he tells me it only needed a quart and a half. The mechanic that came later that day drained it and only a quart and a half was drained, exactly what the guy said he added. During the initial oil change, they used a hose with a gun that, according to them, it tells them how much is being pumped from a barrel. Which if I'm being honest, I believe the barrel was empty. They admitted to me that the day the service was made, it was a very busy day for them. But that does not take away the fact that they need to double check their work. They know they messed up but they're not wanting to take accountability. This has been the worst experience for my son and his family. To make things even worse, during this ordeal my daughter in law was in labor and due to the stress this has caused them, my son would much rather not deal with the people at Valvoline, since all they do is try to put the blame on him and the car, a 2020 Ford Explorer... their family car that had never given them any problems. Valvoline, please do better.UPDATE: Nothing. They have done NOTHING about their big screw up. According to their comment below, they addressed and resolved my claim. All they did was tell me that they were not at fault for the engine going out due to NO OIL on a car that barely has 76k miles. According to the "management team" which is basically just the manager onsite, They can't take responsibility for this since it does have 76k miles and they don't know the history on the car. Give me a break. This car had on time oil changes, never had a problem with it, until it was taken to THIS place. They claim they added oil, but they don't seem to know where this "oil" went after leaving their location!! They talk to you like they know what they're doing, and you know nothing about cars. I have called their "corporate number" in hopes of them re-opening this claim, for them to investigate this further, but i have not received a call back from them. THEY DROPPED THE BALL AND WERE PUMPING OUT OF AN EMPTY DRUM AND THEY DONT WANT TO ADMIT IT OR BE RESPONSIBLE!! Don't waste your time and money at this place. There are so many other places where you can take your vehicle. Valvoline, if you care so much about your customers .. know that because of the ineptitude of your workers there is a mother that has to walk to school to pickup her child in 108 degree weather with 2 toddlers and a newborn child!!

Great experience. My battery was getting weak they changed it out while they changed my oil. Very friendly and helpful. Sort of surprised how good of service I received. Doesn t happen a lot these days.

I waited over an hour to be serviced and my car took less than 20 minutes to complete the entire oil change. There are no cameras to see what the men are doing, and there was a lack of communication for what was happening so I had to keep asking questions. The only thing I was showed was my oil level, which was overfilled.I was lied to twice about my coolant level, which I informed them was almost empty and they reassured me twice it was was at the full line. I went home to double check again and yes it s almost empty. They had NO COOLANT to top me off, and could not perform a radiator flush for me he said today anyways. Had they not lied to me, I wouldn t have wrote this review.I arrived at 4:30pm, along side not having any coolant. They had issues typing in my VIN, my name, and just kept talking about getting some good stuff tonight. I won t be back.I thought valvoline was supposed to be top notch service, informative, and show you the results of every step of the process but I felt like I was still inside of a lobby at any other place that probably would have done a better job. They also said they had no machine to check the levels of my refrigerant either when I asked them if they could. Now I have to take more time out of my day running around to get everything else completed when I thought I could do it all here.Service: Oil change

No order to the way the cars come in. You line up behind one of the stalls. They don't tell you if the car ahead of you is having more services performed. They serviced 3 cars in the 2 slots next to mine while still performing services on the 1 car in my slot. But no warning from the greeter about this. Horrid. There's no one working on the car from underneath and the person at the front of the vehicle is fixing their hair. Would definitely recommend somewhere else for efficient service instead of this place that doesn't care if they waste your time and service others who came in after you.When I finally got the oil change done, oil got changed but car still says "oil change due".Service: Oil change

If I could give less than one star I would..I needed an oil change , filter and headlight bulb replacement..The guy couldn't get my hood open and that should of been the first sign. He could not get the air filter to fit so I'm assuming it was the wrong size... Told him to put the old one back and it fit right in. Then they couldn't get the headlight fixed because they were wrestling it trying to figure that out so I said forget it just do the oil... Never again!

The oil change was good, hopefully. The people (3) girls in the waiting area talked like they were straight out of the hood. I finally waited out side because the speech was so inappropriate. Needs customer service application. Unacceptable! Will not go back.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Excellent Excellent Excellent! I made the mistake of getting my oil changed somewhere else last time and had multiple issues about a week after. I also found oil in my driveway. I didn't realize it was a bad oil change until I came here. I haven't had one issue since. They are very communicative. I love that they check everything verbally to each other. I didn't have to get out of my vehicle. They even saved me the time of having to change my blinker light. I will always go here from now on.Service: Oil change

Fairly priced, great service, and just so easy to do, no need to leave your vehicle. 05/25/23: I went to get an inspection and was busy, but they were still quick. Did it Ina fairly quick time. Love this place. #GODisGreat

This place don t even deserve a star, I went for an oil change and got home with no oil. They completely destroyed my engine and didn t cover any of the cost to fix it. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Worst place in Odessa tx

I had always used this place in the past with great service.Today I was treated very poorly. The person helping me was rude and did not have answers to questions about oil filters, and pricing. I came by to get a quick oil change but ended up waiting longer than I expected. The guy who was doing my oil change lost my oil cap so now I m sitting here in my car waiting for them to go to O Reillys to buy another one. I m Very upset nd now late yo pick my son up from school!!!
