Thanks for wasting almost 3 weeks of my life. - Truck broke down on the highway and after spending a day with a roadside mechanic I had my truck towed in on Thu afternoon - The service manager Carlos advised they were short staffed and it might be Friday or Monday before they could look at it. Some shops in town quoted two WEEKS, so we kept our fingers crossed We were definitely impressed when a couple of the mechanics stayed late that day to start the diagnosis, which quickly turned out to be a major engine issue, instead of the electrical problem we were hoping for.. Yikes. We were assured they understood the crunch we were in and promised an estimate "Monday at the latest". Monday came and went, and a quick trip to the shop on Tuesday morning to drop off donuts we were advised we would have the numbers on Tuesday. Similar results Tuesday and unanswered voicemails carried us through the week. Finally, after a phone call to the shop from our lender on Friday, we received a 61k quote for a replacement engine (for a 100k truck)... "sorry" we we're told, "waiting on corporate".. 2 days later we got the news the crate motor option was unavailable engine and the shop would reprice it as an in frame rebuild. What? A week to quote an option that's unavailable?.. Fast forward ANOTHER week for the in-frame rebuild quote, which turned out to be 10-15k over 3 other shops we polled in town. (and with half the warranty) 2 weeks in and not even a DIRECTION to go.. That's not understanding anything - That's called lip service. The grand total for all this excellent service? $3800...Which they discounted from $4600 to "help us out"... Really? 4k for a diagnosis it took your mechanics 2hrs to find and 3hrs to confirm... Wow. I didn't see a line item for it, so I'll have to assume the greasy handprints they left all over our truck were no charge. Ended up towing it OUT of there to an independent shop who values our time and money. Couldn't be more disappointed.. Does the Big C stand for "Chump" now?... At least I met a great tow guy #neilpoolwreckers

Wouldn t take the product bought back for an exchange only. Because didn t have the credit card that was used. However, had the receipts and just needed an exchange. Terrible customer service and spent 45 minutes there just for them to be unable to help.

Our trip in our motor home was interrupted in Ft Stockton, Teas when I noticed a fluid leak under the engine compartment. We were on our way to to spend the holidays with family but now had to find the closest Cummins repair facility which happened to be in Odessa,Texas approx 100 miles from our location just outside of Ft Stockton. We headed that way early in the morning and babied our Tiffin Allegro Bus all the way there. Got there around 7:30 finding the shop still closed. At around 8:00 am entered the shop area and talked to one of the service managers and was asked if I had an appointment which in my situation the answer was no I did not have an appointment. Explained the situation and was told that he would have one of his shop machinists come and diagnose the problem not knowing if time was available to fix the problem. About 30 minutes later Pete a shop mechanic came to look and advised me that the clamps around the hoses at the radiator were starting to come loose. He went back into the shop came back with some tools and proceeded to work in fixing the problem. Worked at it for over an hour as it was difficult to get to but eventually was able to tighten the clamps and fix our problem. I wanted to give him a tip for getting out there to fix our problem but he told me that the company policy was that no tips could be excepted. So I thanked him again and again. Went back into the shop to see what I owed and was told by Carlos that there would be no charge at all and to enjoy the family get tighter for Christmas. It was definitely our lucky day. Made the family get together with no further problems thanks to Pete at Cummins in Odessa, Texas. Would recommend this establishment to all. Thanks again to Pete and Carlos you made our Christmas extra special

We had to have our generator repaired on our Class C Jayco for an issue that has come up twice. Waylon in service checked the records and saw that we had been there a year ago. Even though the tech unstuck the governor rod and the generator was now running fine, he recommended that we replace the governor. This was also done under warranty and they had the parts pretty quickly and got our RV back to us. He also kept me updated on the status of the parts and work and they completed the work sooner than expected. Highly recommended.

Our Check Engine light had come on when we were in the area so we headed to Odessa. Our service manager, Waylon Lacy, was outstanding. He was able to get us worked in quickly since we were going to have to stay in a hotel. He constantly kept us updated and thoroughly explained everything to us as he was wearing many hats at once.

Fast friendly service. Had the parts I needed and are covid compliant. You cannot walk in the parts door anymore you must walk in the front main entrance office door. When you walk in office door you are greeted by a lovely office staff. They ask you some covid related questions, provide you with an N95 surgical style mask if needed and take your temp with a face recognition thermal imagine screen. No contact and more than plenty of distance.

I've called on 3 different occasions for parts to get ordered for my truck. The first two calls I ended up hanging up after being on hold for an obscene amount of time. The third time I attempted to get ahold of parts 2 times and got hung up on both times. I refuse to waste one more second attempting to bring my business here. I've never seen a company that doesn't like selling their parts but i'd recommend not wasting your time with them

Everything seemed fine until the bill arrived. I was actually referred to this place by someone that works for Cummins. We had a tech come out for 52 minutes to tell the guys they need to clean the radiator out with degreaser. $2709 for that. I understand they have to charge travel and what not but my goodness if that s not highway robbery then I don t know what is. Apparently the tech turned in 9.5 hours on a 52 minute job and max travel each way of 2 hours. So they basically took the round trip mileage and doubled it and charged $2.50 per mile. Hotshot companies don t charge much more than that. But they also charge labor for driving and charged 3 hours each way. Guess they travelled at 80 mph the entire way to calculate 240 miles and 3 hours driving. Then they have the audacity to charge electronic tooling fee, shop supplies, and hazardous waste disposal. All for a tech to use an impact on 4 bolts to remove a guard. That s it. That s all that was done. I was going to wait to post this horrible experience after they have the chance to credit us for all the fabricated overages but instead I d rather make others aware that this company thinks they can charge what they want just because this little oil town is booming.

Customer service representatives are kind and professional. But... they take way too long to help customers. If there's 2 customers in front of you, be ready to wait an hour or more. Unacceptable. Cummins you can do better. We waste a lot of time shopping at this location.

The parts manager Mark isnt a very nice guy. I came in as an individual (not a large corporation that they are used to) he acted almost irritated that I came in and inconvenienced that i asked him a question. A question that he could've easily answered but instead he left me with a rude comment and directed me to another sales rep. Almost implying that he was a PARTS MANAGER and couldn't be bothered to help someone. I sat for 20 minutes waiting to ask a question, then left without any help. I got the answer I needed and came back for yet another 30 minute wait, but this visit was better because I knew that I wasn't "aloud" to speak with the parts manager. What a jerk. I will always do what I can to avoid this place in the future.

Didn't bother getting my truck checked out for a check engine light on. They wanted me to leave truck for 3 days before someone could look at it. They really need to put up a help wanted sign

Called Odessa after hours trying to find a Kalmar DEF sending unit with very little information available. The after hours associate (Pilo) was incredibly helpful, he worked with the numbers I had and sent pictures of all the sending units on the self. We weren't able to find the correct part with the info I had, but it wasn't for a lack of trying. RSS and our Customer Pronghorn are incredibly thankful for the amazing support; y'all always seem to go above and beyond to ensure we receive the correct parts. Thank you!

I was told by three different people to go to three different lines before I received help. Then was treated poorly by there service Wrighter. This company should be ashamed of the customer service there providing. I recommend the drive and seeing another facility.

I got my parts. I will avoid cummins in odessa, their employee named pillow and his over sized TV with the volume so high making business with pillow even more difficult.

My motor home broke down and I had it towed to Cummings the staff was unable to help me but was extremely helpful in allowing me to park it and even hooked up my power electric line until the parts came in.In a town travelling through I was not expecting an "honest" mechanic or one that helped me with such respect. THIS IS A KICK ASS SHOP!!!!!!

It seems to me a total lack of respect for their clients that they completely close the Covid. All stores maintain their services by taking all measures. Regrettable

Worst place to have to wait in line for parts. Always busy. Often don't answer the phone. The parts computer system they use is down a lot.

The service is very bad they treat people like they are giving free parts not like you buying from then , plus they don t care about people on line because when a customer call they give priority to phone calls when you travel to the store you suppose to be first no a phone call so in general it is a terrible place to do business with
