Went to Mr. Fix-It based off a recent experience my dad had there. He was referred to Mr. Fix-It from a local law enforcement officer. They are very knowledgeable, friendly, and have fair pricing. My vehicle repair was done in a timely manner and I was notified throughout the process. I would highly recommend going there for your automotive needs. Thank you, Lupe.

Since moving to the area last year I have begun taking all of my vehicles here for maintenance. His prices are very competitive and the work always honest and top notch. The owner always offers to show you the parts he replaced, explain what issues are found and provide fair quotes for the work. I refer anyone looking for an automotive mechanic to this shop.

Times are tight, even more so when I needed a battery, radiator, and engine all at once. I tried to save some money by buying a cheaper (wrong) replacement engine online and had it delivered to Mr. Fix It.Lupe not only bought new tools and parts to make it work, but also took the time to explain the differences in all the repairs, and to show me - actually pointing to specific problems and discussing their solutions.The total cost was still less than half what the dealer wanted to charge me and also less than what I would've paid for on an equivalent used vehicle. We even worked out a payment plan.The work was done before I knew it. I passed inspection shortly after. It's been almost 6 months now. Even though I'm driving considerably less, the car runs just as when I bought it brand new over 9 years ago and I wouldn't be surprised to get another 10+ out of it now. Everything runs perfectly.Mr. Fix It is veteran owned and operated. Anyone traveling 35 looking for an honest mechanic at a great value, this is it. 5 star all the way.

Lupe gives you the best price and options. James the mechanic is very skilled and knowledgeable. He replaced a GM transmission on my truck and only returned it when he was satisfied it ran the way it should and safe for me to drive. These are honest people

Requested a quote online. Had excellent service from beginning to end! Everyone was truly nice to my Son's. And they did a great job on my Son's spark plugs!!! Will be back with all our vehicles.

I have lived here in New Braunfels for 6 years, and I have not been able to find a mechanic that I like and trust. (I'm naturally a pretty skeptical person when it comes to mechanic, doctors, and other similar professions.) Well, my search is over. Lupe Gonzales (the owner) is the real deal. He was not only very timely and professional, but his prices were also very affordable. He has been at the same location for 17 years, and everyone knows him. You can tell he is the kind of guy that does people right. I will definitely be coming back even though I hope it won't be very soon...hahaService: Electrical

If anyone needs work done on their vehicle...go see Guadalupe Gonzales at Mr Fix It on 35 frontage near HEB on Walnut!He s very reasonable and will always look out for you. Took wife s vehicle to him with engine light on and he discovered catalytic converter issue. He did the leg work with Bluebonnet to find out that Ford warranties this to 80k miles. He told me who to contact there as he had already talked to them and it would be no charge since it s under their warranty.Great ethical guy!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Kind of a long one. A few weeks ago I had an engine breakdown and had to have my truck towed to his shop. When I called Mr. Lupe Gonzales at Mr. Fix It Auto. He told me I could bring it in and he could look at it and start working on it that day. Mr. Gonzales, a master mechanic, accompanied by his assistant, also a master mechanic, have over 50 years of experience repairing cars. When my truck was ready, he gave me a breakdown of exactly what he fixed and explained the invoice to me. He even put my old parts in a box so that I could physically see them. These gentlemen are honest, fair and love helping their military community. After calling around to different mechanics who couldn t or refused to solve my problem. Mr. Gonzales was the only one that rose to the challenge. In the future I will be sure to go nowhere else!

Location and good reviews led me to Mr Fix It. Having recently relocated to Texas I needed to find someone I could trust. Lupe and James did not disappoint. They took my truck in on a Friday a few hours before my flight back to Indiana. They kept it for the weekend and had the radiator replaced before I flew back in to Texas on Monday. Lupe is a veteran and a family man. I had the pleasure of meeting his daughter in the shop. Come to Mr Fix it. Support a local family business. Thank you for getting my work truck back on the road so quickly. I will definitely be back.

I wouldn't trust anyone else to work on our vehicles. Their knowledge of vehicles comes from years of experience, not just training. Their prices are very reasonable.

Had truck towed here and the shop was closed on a Tuesday even though online it says they are open and I watched a guy walk in so I gave him a minute to get settled and then went and tried the door and it was locked! This place is a joke! Would not recommend!!!

My daughter took her volvo there to have a coil pack installed and check the ac.Got the car back fast and he gave her a discount for being a single mother .Nice touch.
