Exceptional service! They went above and beyond and made sure my issue was resolved. My car is driving so smoothly. I highly recommend this place. Their office is also very clean and eclectic, which made my time in the waiting room very comfortable and entertaining.

Recently had work done on my Audi. Can't recommend this business enough. Rebekah and Chris were so wonderful to work with. Repairs were done quickly and explained in detail. It is obvious they care about what they do and want to deliver the best service possible. Honest, knowledgeable and extremely helpful mechanic. Will continue to bring our vehicles there for any maintenance or repairs in the future.

Went in for a battery replacement and was very pleased with the price and quick service. Also had a fuse replaced that after months of not having a working head unit was brought back to life. I was told by a different repair guy that I needed a whole new unit. Very happy with this business and it will be my repair shop from now on. Highly recommended!

If you care about your vehicle, this is the place to go for service, especially if you have an import. Small but family friendly, Rebecca at the front desk knows the business. Leevi worked on my car and is honest, thorough and friendly. And I was really impressed with how knowledgeable the owner, Chris is. Listening to him explain the workings of a VW Taos to the young lady that brought it in was beyond the standard "this is what you need"!

We are new to New Braunfels and we were in need of service for our bmw. We were givin HDS recommendations by several people on a Facebook forum. I was blown away by these guys. They saved us over 1k and having to deal with the dealership. The quote was exactly what we paid. They started and finished when they said they would. On top of that they are just all around friendly folks. HIGHLY recommend these guys

Don t go to this place. They replaced the brakes on my Mercedes Clk 430 b/c I thought I heard a scraping sound. Instead of telling me the brakes were fine, just old, they replaced the brakes anyway -WHEN IT DIDNT NEED IT.Now the new front brakes locked up after a week. The brakes were working before, one back brake pad was a bit thin they took off the factory brakes put something else on it- now the front brakes are locked up and car is NOT DRIVABLE AND THEY WANT ME TOW IT TO THEM.Don t go here friend.

Chris gave me a terrific quote (75% less than another shop) to fix a fuel pump on my TDI. He provided honest advice and walked me through each step. Great shop, great owner!

Quick and easy diagnostic and repair! Took my Jeep Wrangler and they found the problem and fixed it within a day. Best part it didn t cost me a fortune. They are very reasonable, they communicate and they are efficient! Thank you HDS.

HDS does a great job servicing my vehicle and helps me keep up to date with all of my vehicle's maintenance. Chris is really good about explaining what is going on with my vehicle so I can understand what is needed and his shop has a friendly, hometown feel. You can even bring your kids if you need to wait! He has a TV, toys, and even a changing table in the restroom. They do get busy so make sure to schedule your appointment ahead of time.

I had been dealing with an AC leak for several months, my work to life schedule didn't give me the time to examine where the leak was so I broke down and spent the money. They instantly located the problem and filled me in on any other problems that could arise, it has been over 3 weeks since they serviced and repaired my AC. HDS is really really good maintenance place for VW!! I got used 2014 VW Passat TDI SEL then l had few issues of wiper and light. Chris did great job and effort to finish as much as quickly!!Also really flexible and reasonable price as well!!When l moved down from another state then l was no idea. I went few shops but there is scam and skills are so bad But DHS is really really high skilled and reasonable price!!Chris is the best machine l ve ever met. He knows exactly what s going on car issues and fix right away.If you get some issues your car call HDS first!!

Owner Chris was extremely helpful and fair on his prices. Chris also was very detailed in his repair review and made recommendations to keep my car in good working order in the future. Chris also provided me with accurate time-lines when it came to working on my car and completed multiple repairs on different days all on time. I highly recommend Chris and the HDS team for your vehicle repairs and maintenance. I look forward to continuing my relationship with Chris as my vehicle mechanic and wish him all the best as his business and team grows into a new larger location in New Braunfels.

I had an AC issue, I called and explained my situation to Chris and he know exactly what it was that was causing my problem, took my car in the next day at 8 a.m. and he diagnosed and fixed my problem before lunch. Chris Hines became my auto repair dude when I got my VW Eos. Trust factor is important for a woman taking her car in for repairs and I instantly trusted Chris. He s so good explaining things, giving options and letting you know what will be needed on the next visit. Believe in him so much that now my son is a customer as well. I name drop when I can and highly recommend HDS. Chris even went the extra mile to research an issue with my Eos with a solution that (fingers crossed) will do the trick. Chris is fantastic, had my GTI checked over fluids flushed and filled prior to my 3000+mile round trip. Even trusted with spirted driving on the dragon. He is a must for all of V.A.G needs.

I bought a new TDI that needed timing belt & other routine maintenance done. Chris was prompt in providing me quote for OEM as well as aftermarket parts. During maintenance he noticed a few additional issues with the car and brought to my attention the issues. He also also diagnosed noise issue I was having and provided quote to repair it. Chris is very knowledgeable and quality of work at par with what you get what you get at dealership. Fair pricing and Chris's knowledge about VW is what made me get my car serviced there.

I had a minor emergency and was unable to use my car. Initially, I was to have my car dropped off so they could get to it the next morning. They ended up being able to squeeze me in and had it ready to go the same day. New Location! Chris is very knowledgeable about all things automotive! Taking your vehicle to a mechanic can be a very scary thing because you're not sure if you can trust that person, Chris is very trustworthy. He not only knows how to fix the issue, but he explains it to you in a way that you can understand. I highly highly recommend that if you need any auto repair you take your vehicle to these guys!
