I took my truck in with a list of things that I believed needed to be addressed/fixed. The following day received a phone call with what I expected it to be a sizable quote for all the work.(A lot) Instead I was told that the only thing that needed to be done was an oil change and a couple light bulbs to pass the inspection. This told me the people that own/run this shop are honest and reliable. Will totally recommend this shop!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Very honest, friendly, quick turnaround, excellent communication throughout and very fairly priced. They only fixed what needed to be fixed and I was able to return a part that I had brought in thinking I needed it. Called for a quote to change a thermostat. I had the parts and coolant so all I needed was labor. The guy quoted me 2.3 hours labor @ $100/hr. One of my previous vehicles had a thermostat go out and I wasn t charged near that much. After about 5 min of research online I was able to change it myself in about an hour and 15 min, a non mechanic. I m not making accusations but either a gross over projection or dishonesty was at play here.

I had my 1995 SS impala in the Fix it shop during this pandemic and Michael and the rest of the shop was very professional. He showed me what they have done with my car and I knew going into this big project that they were going to run into some problems but they still managed to handle them with ease. They pulled my motor and fixed all the oil leaks and freeze plugs and changed my gear box. These cars are a real pain to get perfect and they are a headache to work on. Thank you all for taking care of my car and I will be bringing all my vehicles to them in the future...Price was also reasonable for all the work they did...Services: Transmission, Electrical repair, Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Engine repair, Oil change

Used Fix it Shop for the first time to inspect my truck. We have a 2,000+ mile towing trip coming up and wanted to make sure my vehicle was in good shape. These folks took good care of me and now I have peace of mind with my truck. I have been looking for a reputable local shop to bring my vehicles in for service and I think I found the place! I have been to this establishment numerous times over the years; from inspection stickers to have patio furniture and bar-b-que pits welded. They are consistently well priced, don't take very long and are extremely friendly.

Went to get my A.C. worked on and ended up finding that my compressor is on its way out. Their servicing of the A.C. is all I needed now. They said the compressor still had some life and didn't need to be replaced just yet. We have other cars we'll be taking to them as we need to. Great experience.

Last week I was moving my family from Ft Lewis, WA to New Braunfels, TX.I was driving a 17' box truck with an F450.Somewhere between Albuquerque and Lubbock, I thought I had cracked my exhaust manifold, and it also started leaking coolant. It sounded like a chainsaw in a metal shipping container. I limped it home to New Braunfels.I called Fix It Shop based upon the personal recommendation of someone I didn't really know, and a few reviews I read on-line.I spoke with Michael, who agreed to take a look to see if he could help.He listened; he looked; then he crawled underneath and determined my exhaust was fine. Michael showed me that I had actually blown a sparkplug.He quoted me $475 for the repair and I really agreed. A few days later, the truck was repaired and running great-- it sounded more like a kitten getting its tummy rubbed.Moreover, the bill was only $350.I may be new in town, but Fix It Shop will always be the first place I call for any vehicle repairs.

Knowledgeable Mechanic does not try to sell you unnecessary work-- honest and went above and beyond my expectations. Since I was there for a check engine light and did the necessary repairs---didn't hesitate when I asked for a tune-up to be included didn't schedule for another day did it without hesitation. Found my MECHANIC!!!!

I have been to many shops in the course of owning a couple vehicles, but I ve never had an experience like I get with this shop. They stand by their work and most importantly, their word. No doubt they have a customer for life with me!

fixed my leaking oil system after another major repair shop said it was a transmission leak totally diagnosing it wrong ...finally fessed up they were wrong...Michael at this shop fixed the real problem quickly and fairly priced AND fixed the botched job other place did...a polite, fair articulate young man backed by a fair professional family place!Service: Engine repair
