I visited this place to inspect my vehicle to take the license plates. Upon arrival he was seeing off another customer, so he took care of me immediately. The process was quite fast, the owners were very diligent, friendly and professional.

Art and Doyle are great people and mechanics. I have taken my trans in a few times for service.. they stay busy and always a line of vehicles which says alot. I'm pretty picky who can even touch my race car I wouldn't recommend any other shop for trans work.

Straight forward, honest, willing to discuss the best approach on repairs. I wouldn't have anyone else work on my transmissions than Brinkkoeter's

Called over the last 48 hours and nobody picks up. Hours say open, but upon arrival there isn t any note or notice that the mechanic or owner is away. Not how you do business.

They left mini liquor bottles in my truck after using it as a drinking spot for 6 months while they had it. Also they couldn't find the problem (later diagnosed as a faulty leadframe)

Hate to bash a local business but I do my due diligence two star two thumbs down as far as communication and efficiency.I took my truck in on a Tuesday called them on Thursday and still hadn't even taken my truck to diagnose it 45 minutes after I called they called back to tell me that in fact my transmission had to be rebuilt and the cost would be up to $2500 reluctantly I gave the ok.When I asked how long it would take Dole replied two to three days so I figured by Wednesday of the following week I would get my truck,well after hearing nothing from anybody at Brinkkoeters I called once again I was told Friday after hearing nothing once again I called and was told Monday due to needing to order a part .Well Monday came and went and not a peep from Brinkkoeters again so I let it ride,Well needless to say I had to call again on Thursday to find out that my truck was in fact ready on Monday and just sat there till I took the initiative to call again all the white I'm renting a vehicle to get around in.Dole only reply was I thought I called you. To soon to tell how good the work they did is.

Everyone here was fantastic to work with. Mr. Doyle got my transmission fully rebuilt and did it in the exact amount of time they told me it would be!Great service and great people!

Always heard great things about this place growing up in New Braunfels so i Called in on Friday spoke to a fella that told me to bring my vehicle by on Monday. Just to get rejected like they did not want my business by a lady behind the counter telling me I couldn't even drop the vehicle off to get serviced .and told me to look at the parking lot it's full I left very disappointed.

BEST transmission shop in South Texas! Art & Doyal are honest, straightforward guys that know what they're doing! I have been doing business with these people for years and I wouldn't even think about taking my vehicle anywhere else for transmission work or state inspection. Nancy is the 3rd member of the team and she does most of the state inspections. She knows what she is doing and works hard to get you inspected and back on the road faster than a Nascar pit crew! Don't waste your time or money going anywhere else for inspections or any kind of transmission work other than Team Brinkkoeter!!

Transmission rebuilds are not cheap but having these guys work on your vehicle is money well spent. These guys know what they are doing! Fast, friendly, and professional service. They have done work on a couple of my cars over the years from a simple shift linkage repair to a rebuild of a transmission. The rebuilt transmission performs better than new! Don't hesitate to bring your vehicle here. These folks are great!

Doyle and Art are excellent at what they do. They replaced my clutch and flywheel on a 2007 Mustang GT, and I could not be happier. Turn around time was quick. Quality work along with price is unbeatable. Thank you again Brinkkoeter's!

Fixed my hubby's transmission.... replaced it. Super pricey but I think in comparison it was in range. We would go back. Hubby said they were very good.

Always my first choice for tranny services. Saved me $7500.00 by suggesting I go through my factory service after I already agreed to pay them to rebuild mine for me. Very honest!!!

Brought my GMC in for its routine transmission fluid change. Doyle found large pieces of metal in the pan, not good. Recommended rebuild transmission now instead of breaking down who knows where. Along with that he noticed my drivers side engine mount was broke, recommended we replace that while the exhaust and transmission are off. He was extremely accommodating, his vendor system was hacked which delayed parts, but Doyle made sure to have everything done and ready for when parts came in. He made sure I had my car in time for my family trip that weekend. Couldn t recommend a better transmission shop. Great team and extremely accommodating, my car has never driven so smooth!

This place is like no other, Doyle take care of your vehicle just like it was his, I took my truck into him the transmission was totally gone, he called me and told me that the rear main seal on a motor was leaking as well, so he changed that and the flywheel he also changed the seals on the four by four crankcase all these things not part of the transmission but very much easier to change why the transmission is out which save me money in the long run.. the truck shifts and rolls better than it ever has for me , he also added screws where screws were needed,, change bolts on the exhaust where it had been leaking . I am so impressed my his business, you cannot get the service anymore anywhere... it definitely pays to have someone treat your vehicle like it is their own and it keeps you from going back to a shop when it's done right . A+ business. ...........

Very honest and dependable. I had to get the transmission of my 2013 Ford Escape completely replaced and they worked quickly to get me back into my car. It had already spent some time at another shop which took it apart and wanted to charge me $300 for simply diagnosing what was wrong with my car. By the time my car got to Brinkkoeter's, it was torn up from unscrupulous, sloppy, unprofessional mechanics. It was a relief to work with the mechanics at Brinkkoeter's who were courteous, professional, fast and kind enough to clean up the mess the other shop had made of my engine!

Ive been using Brinkkoeter s for years and without a doubt these guys are first class. I literally shipped my truck from Colorado to New Braunfels after a transmission failure. One of very few shops in the area that have my trust!

One morning my clutch got stuck and it became increasingly difficult to shift into gear. I drove on my last leg into Brinkoeter's. Doyle and Art were wonderful, took me in right away, ordered the parts and had it fixed up at a reasonable price! Highly recommend this honest Family owned business!

This place is awesome went for inspection and I needed a bulb. They changed it for me something I could have done myself but they did it there.. Now that's all about the customer. Thanks Brinkkoeter's !!!

I had a mustang gt 6 months after a clutch install start making some crazy noise near floor and I thought transmission was coming loose. It was an awful sound. turns out the exhaust was rattling against the floor it has aftermarket pipes and they shifted slightly. The guys at the shop loosened the piping an got it pulled away from the floor now its driving fine. they didnt charge me a cent for looking into this issue and got it remedied quickly good customer service highly recommended.

Always go here for annual inspection even if it's a long drive from my house. Cheerful, professional, knowledgeable, go out of their way to be helpful. Not a chain store. Personifies what New Braunfels used to be: kind and professional. A+ rating
