Brake Solutions is amazing! Austin and the others there are all very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. They will only do what is required to fix your vehicle without adding a bunch of extra expense. They explain the problem, tell you how it effects your vehicle and find the best deal on your parts, and do honest work.

I must wait before I update and give a 5 star, though I believe I will. The customer service is hands down . The calls before they proceed with repairs and give you honest information and answer questions thoroughly before they repair, and the knowledge you're not getting screwed on pricing makes the drop off stree free. I believe the quality of their work will be just as good. Time will tell. Let's go Brake Solutions! People need to know you're more than a break shop!

I went to another car repair shop in New Braunfels and they told me I needed $1,500 worth of work done on my car. So I decided to get a second opinion, and was referred by a friend to Brake Solutions, to Austin. They were super responsive, got my car in the next day, and told me my brakes /repairs could wait another 10k miles. This was my first time going there. They are truly honest people and so trustworthy. Highly recommend! Will be returning for my brake work.

Well, My family was very faithful and loyal to Austin and Marisa ever since we moved here in 2007, however after the last visit I found they purposely disconnected the brake sensor which doesn't just fall off, it must be forcibly removed by someone. They also lied about replacing the blend door actuator which when a 9v battery was connected after removal it worked fine. They have been disrespecting my family for years and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Also if you see a suggestion for BG's cleaning agent, it may not be needed as their commercials on youtube clearly showing they have products by BG meaning they are most likely sponsored and therefore might be recommending it based solely on their business relationship with BG. So Marisa calls me because my mother is very humble, avoids confrontation and also doesn't want anything else to do with Brake Solutions because they intentionally disconnected her brake line that is under the dash and controls the brake lights. The only reason I can imagine for doing this is to get the car back into the shop for more $$. What really bother's me though is not so much the $ aspect but the other range of potential consequences, such as getting an unnecessary ticket or worse an automobile accident. This brake line doesn't just "fall off". I have personally been under the dash and experienced this for myself as it takes two fingers to push in the sides and pull as you will hear a 'click'. My family mechanic took a photo of this connection and his blue glove indicates the tabs that need to be pushed in. I have also included a photo of the work they did on the driver side window. I spoke to Marisa Herring at approximately 8:30am on Thursday 6/28/18 when she called and explained to me that the brake connection being undone was just "a horrible coincidence" (I don't think so) and accused me of "hurting their family lively-hood" with my review. Brake Solutions is a business and has taken this much too personally. In my opinion, I don't beleive it to be very professional but that is their decision. My family was a customer, my Mother just as my recently passed Great Aunt, as Marisa needed to remind me during her call. My name is Kyle Hodges and I don't like shady businesses that use unethical practices that can potentially cause harm to my Mother, your former customer. Happy 4th of July New Braunfels! I've disconnected the plug to see how difficult it is and there is no way it just fell off by accident. So the brake light works when she takes it in last time and the plug for the brake lights is disconnected. After plugging it back in the lights work just fine and I would just like them to admit their wrongdoing. I live with my mother so I do know the relationship with my mother and Brake Solutions - ya'll ruined it.

The guys are very open and honest about pricing I had my brakes changed out in a relatively quick amount of time they even fixed the tint that had started to come off on one of my windows and didn t even bother to charge me for it or it really solid service

Invoice #45718 dated 1/30/232016 Buick LaCrosseThe guy agreed to do both axles and flush the lines for $585 by the close of business. He called me back in an hour to say that the back brakes looked fine and that there was no need to change the brake fluid yet. I got out of there for $198! He could ve done it all anyway and I never would ve know the difference. I TRUST THIS MAN. I asked what else they do, and he said alignments, a/c can t remember what else. My husband took in his 2003 Element a few weeks ago. He was given an estimate on what the vehicle needed and things that may need to be fixed at a later time. We felt comfortable with Austin and opted to get the vehicle fixed the following week rather than searching for another mechanic. The entire process was smooth and handled professionally by Austin. We trust him completely and will refer any friend or family member searching for a mechanic. He honored my military service and provided me with a discount, which we really appreciated. The Element runs absolutely wonderful. We are SATISFIED with his great work. He and his sister are genuinely caring, honest, trustworthy, hard working, relate well to customers, and just plain kind people. Their business is an ethical and professional organization. Awesome! I'm not from the area, so when my brakes went out I feared any shop will see my out of state plates and take advantage. This place is very honest; found the leak quickly, and went over all the options and recommendations with me even using pictures to make sure I understood. Not only will they get all my business while I'm in Texas, I highly recommend them to everyone.

I've been going to Brake Solutions for years and they have always given me top notch service! From their customer support, to how well they take care of my vehicles, to the quality work theu perform and their follow-up service.I've never felt more comfortable in the hands of a mechanic shop. I can say all this having taken over 6 vehicles to them over the past 6 years. Everyone I have recommended to them has called me and thanked me!Plus, it's hard to find a harder working, tight knit family. When they say family run business, they ain't lying!

Best in New Braunfels! Fair, honest and totally reliable service for all makes and models...and all types of automotive repairs. Our entire extended family brings all 9 of our vehicles to Austin and Marissa.This week they performed steering work on my 20 year old F150 with 185,000 miles. I have been extremely happy with the service Austin has provided for my SUV! I've been twice and he has been honest and explanatory with the service that needs to be done. Pretty simple: locally owned and provides excellent customer service with reasonable prices. Prove it you say. Well, I walk in, meet Austin and his sister, Marisa. Almost immediately after finding out that I would need to call for a ride back home, he offered to have someone drive me. I guarantee to you any chain owned company would make you sit in the waiting room for hours. That alone for me, is why I like to support local businesses. As for the work I needed done, rotors turned, the prices can't be beat. Then there's the service. My truck stops smoothly now. Don't be bamboozled by a larger box franchise garage with their commercials promising this and that. Then they try to sell you on things you do not need. Go to a place where they get the job done right without all the bells and whistles. You need brake work done? Brake Solutions is where you need to go.

Brake Solutions has repaired four of my vehicles for different problems, each repair has been completed correctly, timely, and cost has been very reasonable. The employees are friendly and very professional. The shop is clean and well organized. I highly recommend this business for car repairs.

Great service! Emailed Marissa and set up an appointment to have my brakes done & have a chirping on my tensioner belt pulley. Dropped the truck off at 830am they called me to give an update in the afternoon & the go ahead to complete the work. Initially I missed the call due to sleeping before needing to go to work. Called them back about an hour after the call n told them go ahead with it. Unfortunately I needed to pick the truck up about n hour n a half later before they closed for the night so I could get to work & they had only finished the brakes but offered for me to bring the truck back later for the rest to be done at a later date. Would have been great to have it all done but I'm basically to blame on the delay of service due to missing their call.

I had called over 5 different locations to get my brakes done and all of them had horrible phone etiquette! However, Brake Solutions was my next phone call and Austin answered. His customer service is what sold me besides their prices. The staff in all was very professional, genuine and weren't just trying to sell me products and work that I didn't need. Austin and Marisa were AMAZING! To top it off they got me out an hour earlier then they expected and I was hungry since it was early, so Austin offered to get me breakfast tacos because he was going as well. I will be a returning customer and be sure to tell everyone to go to them! Thank you!!!!
