Excellent experience always. My dad bought my first car, a 66 Mustang, from Joe Johnston when I was 18. I'm 76 now. Johnston Ford is my car place.

The BEST dealership around my daughter drives from Houston to do business here. No hassel no jacked up prices. Everyone is incredibly nice. Service center is also amazing!!!!

Would not use them at all. They are not an honest place and charge too much for what they do. Had warranty work done and they decided a hose needed to be changed that was brand new. Said it looked bad when there was nothing wrong with it, it had been replaced 2 weeks prior. Sure didn't offer to fix the situation at all, no sorry or anything and cost us 500.00 for their mistake. Should have called and asked if we wanted it replaced as well but that didn't happen either. Very disappointing to pay for something that wasn't needed.

If I could give them a zero I would! Horrible service. My husband took our truck in for its routine oil change, tire rotation, Def, etc. The guy put the oil filter on so tight its now leaking oil. Didn't fill upbthe Def, but said he did. Also didn't rotate the tires he said he did. What is wrong people. I paid good money and alot of money for this service. Why can't anyone just do their job!

Great experience. Brought my van in for service in an emergency. The service dept. fit me in and got right to help me as I am from out of town and passing thru. Would highly recommend this particular service dept.

I am not even certain where to begin the review. My wife and I live in Longview, Texas and we were told to go see Joe Johnston about a new Ford truck. At the time I called Joe, I was not even considering a Ford. I had been driving a Toyota Tacoma (254,000 miles). When I spoke to Joe, I told him I was interested in the new Ford Ranger. I feel I must warn you when you ask Joe a question, you need to brace yourself for what will happen next. I will let you figure that one out when you talk to him. I told him we would drive up on a Friday afternoon just to see what he had to offer. The one hour and fifteen minute drive was beyond worth the effort. We were met at the door. The vehicles we were going to test drive were set out and ready to go. We completed the test drive and went back into the dealership. We went back to the office and began the journey. You need to know that keeping up with Joe is like trying to catch a live chicken. There was more paper flying around than I could even begin to keep track of. In the end, Joe and his team were able to locate exactly what I was looking for at a nearby Ford dealer. At 56 years of age, this was one of the most unorthodox car dealership encounters I have ever had. (in a very refreshing way) We were able to come to terms on the price, and I was able to return the Monday to pick up the truck. This is an amazing place with people who really love what they do. Thanks to Joe, Jacob, Kelly, Mark, and Camille. You all form a fantastic team, and Ford would do well to recreate your model. Thanks again! (you have a customer for life)

Fantastic experience with Johnston Ford! Great family and locally owned business in Bowie County. The first time I visited them was for a major repair on my Ford Raptor. The cam phasers had failed and the Johnston Ford service department made the entire process very pleasant, they answered every question that I had and totally put me at ease. They also did top notch quality work. I remember when I am treated well and taken care of. So, when it was time to purchase another vehicle, I naturally thought of Johnston Ford. My wife had been wanting the new Bronco and so it happened that Johnston Ford had a 2023 Bronco Wildtrack Sasquatch available that had everything on it that she wanted. We jumped on it and I can honestly say that it was the easiest and most pleasant buying experience that we have ever had! Thank you guys so very much!!!

I usaully hate going to car dealerships but these people changed all that . Awesome people to work with . I loved it. They will get my business from now on . Its said we don't have dealerships in Texarkana like this .

The folks at Johnston Ford were awesome. My diesel truck broke down just outside of the Texas/ Arkansas border and I had to have it towed about 50 miles. The other dealer flat out said that I would have to wait at least 2-3 days just to look at it. So I called Johnston Ford instead. They took me in the same day and diagnosed it all the same day. They fixed my truck with no delay and got me going back on the road as soon as humanly possible. From Rob , the service tech, and the manager, Terry, genuine people. The diesel mechanic, Pat, is the best in the industry, hands down got my truck running like a top and didn t miss a clip or a bolt. I recommend this dealership as a top notch genuine Ford service. Guys like this are hard to find.. the price was also very reasonable considering the extent of work that needed to be done. Excellent job fellas!

Just had my vehicle repaired at this dealership. You can not get better service anywhere else. Great technicians and wonderful staff. When I first called the owner answered the phone. I had my vehicle towed there late one day and they couldn't have been more accommondating they looked at it the same day and had parts ordered and there the next day. What easily could have been a week without a car ended up only being a two day process. They could have charged me double just for the quality service and I would have gladly paid, but they were modest in their repair fee. A++ service department, great family company.Special thanks to Terry and Sam!

I called last Tuesday to schedule a recall on my car because the headlights stop working intermittently. The lady in service told me she created a ticket and ordered the part and that they d call me to schedule an appointment once the parts arrived. I didn t hear anything for 8 days so I called them back. A guy answered this time and said he couldn t find me anywhere in the system, then he put me on hold. 15 minutes later he came back on and told me they had the part and they could install it the next day. I dropped off my car the next morning and put my keys in the drop box. I called them at 5 and they told me it wasn t ready. I caught a ride there and took my car back home. How incompetent can they be?! So now my car still can t be driven at night over a week later. I guess I ll try another dealer or just buy the part and put it in myself.

I bought my very first ford from them last week. Camille and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to get what we wanted. They will always have my business! The whole thing went very smoothly. They're not like other dealerships. Which is so great! All around the best experience I have EVER had!

This is the only place I feel comfortable buying a car. There is really no other dealership like this one that I have ever known. The employees are all friendly, and you're treated like family, as you will meet just about every member of theirs before your buying experience is over. They are a cost-plus dealer, where they go over every line of the contract with you, so you can see they aren't hiding anything. They don't jack up interest rates, and they genuinely look out for the best interest of their customers. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking for a new vehicle.

We were met at the door and greeted. Because we knew what we wanted to buy, we didn't need to look around. The 2015 Fusion was brought to the front door for us to test drive. We were very satisfied with the car and returned to the dealership. We completed & signed the necessary documents for submission to Ford Credit. Joe Johnston and his staff worked to get the best financing deal for us. It was Saturday morning, so we agreed to meet late Monday to pick up the new car. Even though it required them to stay after closing, everyone who helped us was cheerful and willing to get us in our car. We returned to the dealership to have our plates put on and were again greeted at the door before we had a chance to open it. Joe Johnston and his staff are willing to go above and beyond to make sure their customers get the vehicle they want, at a fair price, with the best financing and service possible.

Dropped off my truck for repair which is under warranty on Monday 11/19/18 around 9am while I was there it was brought in the shop. I was thinking that maybe it would be done that day. However when I called to check on it around 4pm they had not even looked at it. On Tuesday 11/20/18 around 12pm they called me to tell me they have to order parts and it might get fixed on Wednesday 11/21/18. Being my luck it will be completed at the end of the day and will have to wait till Friday or Monday to get my vehicle back. I was told by a friend that the reason it took so long is because I didn't buy from them. No loaner car because I didn't get the vehicle from them. However ford motor company told me it is up to the owner of the store if they want to provide a loaner car for customers for Ford owners. Things like this keeps me buying somewhere else. Got a call today 11/21/18 around 1:30pm stating that they just ordered the part they needed that they knew about at 12pm yesterday and of course it won't be in until Friday maybe? More than 3 days to fix a leaking third brake light? I mean WOW!!! 11/23/18 got a call at 2:52pm letting me know my vehicle is now ready. 11/25/18 it rained today and it still leaks!!!! Maybe another week it will be fixed right. Well still not fixed it's 1/13/19 still leaking in the same place and now another one maybe I will have some luck this time being the 3rd time is a charm thing!

Would not recommend this Ford dealer to anyone needing service on their vehicle. We have used them on multiple occasions and all were bad experiences. Never will use them again. I brought my truck to them for full service, they diagnosed that there were other issues with the truck but didn't communicate with me or get them resolved. I brought my truck back to them a few weeks later to fix the issue. They did not communicate to me that the work would take several days, so i called to pick up my truck because i need to go back to work and they told me my truck is all taken apart and they don't have the new parts and can't put it back together for 3 more days. I am now missing work because of them. This is unacceptable customer service. If they had communicated how long the work would take, I would have not done it at this time.

After looking at several cars online, we found the Fusion that we purchased at Johnston Ford. I was worried about going so far (4.5 hours) to buy a used car sight unseen, especially because I did not know the dealer. However, they went out of their way to make the entire experience easy and enjoyable. They had the car and paperwork completely ready. We only went over the car to make sure that it matched our expectations. They are honest and I greatly enjoyed working with them.

My family has been buy vehicles from here for years. Not a big chain dealer. But a neighbor who knows what you need and helps you find what you need. And a great service department. Before I drove to the city I'd check with Joe first. He'll find it a bring here and save you money

Took my car in to have weather stripping replaced. The wrong part was ordered they told me it would have to be reordered. Well I went to clean my car and the mechanic glued it in and was not charged not one cent. Looks great! who ever was the mechanic THANKS hope your blessed every day.

Today I drove our 17 f150 to Johnston ford to get serviced. We didn't buy it there but didn't have time to carry it to our dealer, who is in south Texas. I was informed that i would get "The Works" oil change , tire rotation, all of this and that inspected, so on and so forth. 1-1/2 HOURS to do this, its a new truck mind you. Yes, I did call in advance and schedule the appointment. They didn't even vacuum it out. All of the quick changes give this service. I thought I would take it to the professionals. Was going to rate it two stars but gave a three because of the final price, which was comparable, but about $10 higher than the quick change stores stores

Rob, the service manager guided me and my two dogs through a very stressful breakdown on our trip to Michigan. He helped us find hotel, food, and personally drove us to and from the hotel.Who does that any more? These guys are great!

Our service is done here on our titanium. The Johnston Ford staff is outstanding always take great care of us and I highly recommend them. I give them 5 stars for taking care of my needs and always making sure am completely satisfied with their service. Great staff!!! Great place!!!

We were on our way back from St Louis, Mo to New Braunfels, Tx today, my low tire pressure came on, I stopped in the service bay door and asked if I could get some air on my 2015 Ford Expedition Platinum. A young man in the office said sure, he quickly came out, put the right amount of air in each tire. I asked for the charge and he said no charge. Great service at this dealership although I will never buy from them. Just great to be part of the Ford family. Made a problem go away.

I m beginning to think that customer service is a thing of the past! 1st off I brought my vehicle in for a Ford recall, 2nd I made an appointment! Is it too much to expect the job to be done in a timely manner?? I was told it was a one hour job, an hour later they hadn t even touched my vehicle? That s ok my time is not important!

As others have stated the sales force is friendly. But honestly, shouldn't all car dealers have a friendly sales force as a requirement? My experience was a little different than others. After locating a truck I liked, I was lowballed on my trade and told they would discount the truck I was interested in $500 more than what they had it listed for on Cargurus. The only problem with that is that when I plugged the stated equipment and options of the truck into Edmunds and Kelly Blue Book ( they post the original car sticker on their website, easy to do], I come up with a suggested retail that is $3500 less than what they have listed on the truck. Additionally, according to Carfax, Johnston Ford acquired this truck at auction [nothing wrong with that] but surely paid less than normal trade value of the truck at auction. I was given one price and a suggested take it or leave it approach. I was contacted once and only once about my interest in their vehicle. The sad part is if they had shown any sincere interest in making a sale I would have gladly made a deal. You would think a small town dealership would be a little more inclined to make deals and move units. You would be wrong.
