I would not recommend this dealership to someone buying any car especially out of state buyers. Im located in california. I purchased my dream car from them, a 2021 toyota supra back in june of 2023 from justin. He was super helpful when i called but as the deal started to progress he got more and more unpleasant to deal with. Once we started to talk serious numbers about the car, there were random people that would come in and do credit apps for it and he would put me on a waitlist as we were almost in the middle of a deal which was unprofessional. We then got more into numbers and just like every dealership they have add ons which are non negotiable like the paint sealants which are very cheap products and take 1 hour to apply if that. I know because i do auto detailing full time focusing on paint protection film and ceramic coatings for high end brands and clients. We then got to financing options which i put a lot down on the vehicle which should hopefully make me a priority in their eyes since I m serious about the car but complete opposite. He would hardly return my calls and texts maybe replying once a day about shipping options for the vehicle as well as a clear receipt of everything thats included in my loan. My only options were to use their shipping company (open flatbed) or fly there and drive the car back. They wouldn t let me use my own means of transportation. Now we get to signing the papers for the car which we had to setup a notary to come to my house. 3 weeks into the deal this was the first time i had seen a physical list of what i was purchasing for the car, luckily everything was correct but i had zero knowledge or peace of mind on the numbers. Even the notary was shocked that i had zero knowledge on the pricing, he said it was unprofessional. We then get the papers sent back and the car gets shipped and takes 6 days from texas to california in an open trailer. When I received the car there were no documents inside for me, not even one piece of paper showing i own the vehicle. Exterior was dusty to be expected but interior was very greasy from most likely armor all wipes, but they charge a few hundred for this. I spent my delivery day cleaning all this grease off the interior, you couldn t even drive the car comfortably. Fast forward a month haven t even heard from the salesmen about how did delivery go or even if i have papers. I reached out to him august 21st and asked him for papers which he said they probably never got sent out but he made the deal so he should be checking on this for me to make sure his clients are satisfied. I value customer service highly as this is what I strive my business on. It is now september 3rd and have no papers, plates expired on august 15th and cant even drive the car legally because my insurance provider needs my registration which i don t have. Also it was sent by mail which has very important documents which I haven t received, not even a tracking number at the very least. I am beyond upset and dissatisfied with the customer service offered at this dealership especially with buying my dream car. I called again august 31st asking the receptionist for the finance manager and left a voicemail for him. Its now sep. 3rd and no call back or text. I have been ignored and pushed to the side most likely because i live out of state and its another deal to them that they don t have to see the customer which is highly unprofessional.-dominick d

Philpott Toyota is a really nice place, clean and very customer friendly with coffee and open spaces. I saw the Mustang I wanted online and met Brian to take a look at it. It is a beautiful and amazing machine and Brian went the extra mile to make sure I got a good deal and was happy with the entire process. If I'm in the market for another car/truck I will look there first.

My wife and I have purchased two vehicles from Philpott Toyota and the service was great. Brian Speight was our salesman and you couldn t be in better hands. He helps you in anyway possible and he doesn t just tell you what you want to hear to get a sale. Brian drove all the way to Lake Charles to get the car I wanted to purchase. I would highly recommend this Toyota Dealer.

Fast friendly service during and after the sale, complimentary gourmet coffee and cookies available while you wait. Just took home a 2023 Highlander Platinum to replace our 2019 Highlander that was totaled. Couldn't be happier with our salesman Brian Speight. He got us a great deal due to us having purchased at least 7 cars/trucks from Philpott.

They did a very good job of meeting my needs and desires even if I was a little pushy in the beginning. they worked hard to make the deal work. they gave me what i expected for my trade and didn t try to push any unwanted extras on me. Overall one of the better experiences i have had buying a car.

Brian Speight is an incredible salesman. A few months ago he helped me find a vehicle for my 80 y/o father. It was such a great experience, i then reached out to him again for another 4 runner for my son. He lives out of town (college) and this was a graduation gift. Just as it was for the first time, Brian worked upfront to get the deal done with ease. It was again a great experience. Brian is definitely an asset to the Philpott organization.

I have had the best first car buying experience at Philpott thanks to Ronnie and Josh. Ronnie was phenomenal to work with. He is not what you think of when you think car salesman . He is honest, friendly, and anything but pushy. He was completely transparent throughout the entire process but ensuring I got the best deal. Between him and Josh, I had purchased my very first vehicle within 3 hours total. Great job Philpott, I will definitely be a returning customer!

I bought a 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid and I am in love with my vehicle! I knew when I saw it, that it was the perfect vehicle for me. Buying our car from Philpott Toyota in Nederland was a great experience. There was great communication and everything went smoothly and quickly. Found the car we wanted at a great price and it came in earlier than expected so all around we are very happy with it.

After searching within a 100 mile radius for the vehicle I was looking for I ended up driving an hour and a half to Philpott Toyota for the best deal! My sales rep Christine was super sweet and great helping me over the phone to get all the info I needed before I came in. Josh in Finance was awesome and helped answer all my questions regarding my unique situation. I never felt any pressure to do anything or get anything that I didn't want which was very refreshing.They made what often can be a very stressful experience actually quite pleasant. I am very happy with both my purchase and my experience here it was definitely worth the drive!

Wouldn t recommend buy a used car from here especially something that s not a Toyota because even if they tell you it s been checked prior to hitting the lot that means they ran it around the block as I was told so if there were transmission issues they wouldn t have caught it due to no check engine light and not enough drive time only to be put through hell with having to deal with another dealer warranty the only person helpful was Josh ivy. Other than that for the price we paid for our car and what they are willing to give us in a trade in value is outrageous. As a mother with two kids it s my car and at the end of the day to not feel safe in your vehicle with kids also at risk of injury due to a bad vehicle even though it s a 2022 model is just wild and for the dealer to offer you 11,000 less than what you paid in march is a slap in the face. Definitely do a lot of research prior to purchase of a used car from here. Pushy pushy sales reps, and pre own manager as much as she tried to help to tell me I need to hurry up and take a deal before my car depreciates anymore after it s the vehicle they didn t check better to make me spend more into their pockets is disgusting. The worse purchase I ve ever made.

We could not be happier with the treatment we received at Philpott Toyota! They were the most accommodating team I have ever encountered. Our salesman (Ronnie) kept us informed at every stage of the process and made the sale almost effortless on our part. From test driving to financing to driving off the lot in our new car, we were treated like family by everyone with whom we had contact. We never felt like we were "being sold"; we felt like we were being taken care of. I highly recommend Philpott Toyota to anyone who wants to be treated like a VIP.

Had an appointment to get my car an alignment. After waiting an hour I went to check on it. The car was still in the service bay and had not moved. This is unacceptable especially since I had an appointment. At the very least they should have let me know they couldn t get it in until later.

I already knew Brian from a mutual friend and that he sold Toyotas. I wasn't planning on being in the market for another vehicle just yet, but due to mine being totaled from an accident. I had to. I bought my RAV4 from Philpott in a time where it was hard to find what I was looking for. Ronnie, my salesman, was very helpful and patient with me (I had a lot of questions). He found the right trim and made buying a car easy. Josh, in finance, gets kudos too. He was a lot better to deal with than previous finance guys. Thank you both!

First new vehicle in a while. Met with Arturo a few weeks ago interested in the new Tundra. He was very helpful over the next couple of weeks while I worked through my options. He and the Philpott staff found a way to meet my budget and features and am very pleased with my new truck. Look forward to a continued great experience with this dealership team. - Highly recommend.

Great fast and friendly service! I think the woman s name who helped me out today was Brittany. She was very helpful and kind! I went in to just get my brakes looked at to make sure everything was doing good and she ended up situating me out for new tires, an alignment, and a brake flush which were all VERY much needed lol. I highly recommend them!

Bought my son a car sight unseen--2023 4 Runner TRD. Bob the manager and Ronnie were professional, kind and straightforward. I have purchased many cars in my day and this was a perfect experience. They even delivered the vehicle to me in New Orleans detailed and with a full tank of gas.

Ordered a Toyota Grand Highlinder, Hybrid, Limited, came in about 1-2 weeks earlier than planned. Christine was my sales contact, always keep me posted, via phone, text message... the day it arrived, it only took couple hours to finish trade-in and take delivery. This is my 3rd purchase at Philpott in 8 years, always good.
