Needed some transmission / clutch work done on my little truck. Called and was told they could get me right in. Owner met me outside to help unload the truck. During the repairs he called to inform me of what was going on. Only took 2 days to replace throw out bearing and clutch. Only complaint was that the new parts were squeaky so I added grease on the plastic clutch pedal parts and the picture. Didn t come back with the rubber inspection port cover. Have to track one down to keep critters and mud out.

Charged me for a transmission that they didn't replace and my car ended up at another shop. Bottom line these are not your go to guys. This was an expensive mistake on my behalf. Owner is not being completely honest. D&K initially took the transmission harness to Autotech for testing after testing good they reinstalled harness and told me the car was fixed. Upon returning the car D&K took the car to Autotech. D&K misdiagnosed transmission and stated to have replaced Transmission Control Module along with transmission. On top of that I was charged for their inability to make repairs/programming TCM. Which was the problem in the first place.Service: Transmission

Was paid $3900.00 to rebuild my 2015 GMC Sierra transmission.1. Got it back and one day later the torque converter when out. I understood because new parts can fail. Rented a car.2. Got it back after that and that same day I had to go to Oklahoma for work. When I would hit a bump the truck would lose power for a few seconds then power back up. Half way to Oklahoma the transmission was making a grinding sound. I took it to another shop and after the loosened the transmission found the torque converter bolts were only hand tight. The power loss was a heat shield dropping down when I hit a bump and making contact with the starter hot wire. I called him and he blamed it all on his helper. The man that done the repairs said it was the worst job he had ever seen. Wires were just hanging and not put were they were designed to go. I had to rent a car.3. Got it back and stayed a few months in to work and the transmission started slipping in 1st gear and reverse. Took it it back to D&K and the changed the pump. Had to rent a car. 3rd time renting a car. Transmission rebuild up to around $4800.4. Got it back and now it s doing it again. Called and talked to the guy who runs the shop, and he told me to bring it down. Because I have no faith in his ability to fix it I said could do not that.. He said he was sorry. I said if your that sorry give me half my money back. He said let me talk to my dad and I ll call you back. It s been a week now and no call back. All I wanted was half of what I paid them to put toward another rebuild. Just what I paid them. Not all rental car costs. I can t tell you who to take your vehicle to for repairs. But I can tell you who not to take it to. These crooks!I also spoke with gentleman that no longer works at the Nash U-pull-it and they stated the new parts they charge for, actually come from them. I was driving back home to Florida and got stranded with a transmission that was completely gone. They arranged for towing, advised me on the repair and went above and beyond to help me in my situation. They even gave me a ride to the airport when I needed it! Once parts were available, they got the repair done very quickly and got my truck back on the road!

I took my Jeep to him to get my rear end rebuilt almost $1,500 later I have taken it back to him several times for him to fix the rear transfer case seal that keeps blowing out. After he failed to fix it after 4 seals and never a straight answer or a clear statement and no answer to why it keeps blowing seals out. He took a month to fix a seal the last time I took it to him and it blew out (AGAIN) with in a week! This is the worst mechanic I have ever dealt with, do not go to this so called business to get ripped off like I did. He will not call you back especially if it's warranty work. I'm taking my Jeep to someone else to fix what he messed up because it never happened before I took it to him and it's 21 years old!

The guys at D & K are knowledgeable and honest. They have rebuilt a transmission on my F-150 gas enging and one in my F-350 Super Duty Diesel. I have had no problems with any of their work. They do a great quick job. I highly recommend this shop.

Left my car at their shop to be looked at. The next day I call and they have not looked at it. The day after that they say they forgot about it.The next day I call and they say they don't know how to fix it but they can take it to a shop that does. They give me the number to the repair shop that is able to do the work. I call that shop the next day to see if they have had a chance to work on it only to find out it was never transported. I call D&K and they still haven't had time but will take it the next day at 1PM. I call the other repair shop at 4pm the next day and the car still has not been delivered. I call D&K back only to be told the other shop will come pick the car up.eventually just go get the car and take it to another repair shop which is fine. I didn't have a problem doing that in the first place, but dealing D&K I wasted almost a full week. Very poor customer service.

Horrible horrible business. I don't understand how they are still in business. Crooks is what they are. I wouldn't even give them 1 star. They are the reason that I no longer have my car. Took it in for a starter to be put on my car but he sent it to his friend to have the car rewired. Had to pay 400.00 just to get my car back when all I wanted was a starter put on. I never authorized anything else. Dont ever take your car there.

Excellent customer service. Best desicion I've made was taking my vehicle to them! They fixed what 2 other shops in Texarkana couldn't fix. It was a pleasure doing business with them and I intend on doing business again with this company. No problems at all. Excellent work and great service. I recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. Took my truck in for them to simply replace the rear main seal. This requires pulling the transmission loose. When I got it back, it was blowing smoke out the back like a mosquito fogger, plus it had oil and grease everywhere - windows, inside, all over fenders, hood, inside engine compartment, etc. Took it back. They said it was just some accumulated oil under the truck. Got it back with all the same oil and grease. They left tools in my truck. Destroyed an umbrella in the cab. Transmission doesn't shift correctly now. Battery was dead. What else can I say?? Go at your own risk!

These guys told me we needed a new transmission and the cost would be $3300 We carried the vehicle to another shop and it didn't need another transmission only a solenoid and it was less than half the price. This was in October 2022.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

They were paid up front to switch engines in a white caddalic supposedly somthing was wrong with the engine they did not order. So payment was made for another motor. And bam nothing. Since then the oner of the Cadillac killed herself. The second people need charges with a crime. And put out of business. I just thought they should know my friend summer Rollins took her own life. Good job guys. I hope the same karma comes to you

I've had work done by them in the past and was satisfied. Same with my mom. But right now my daughter is not happy with them. Giving her lots of timelines on finishing the job and excuses for not finishing it by those timelines. Other than that they are nice folks.

Absolutely terrible businessmen. Left my truck for them to fix while I was deployed, and they sold it to U-Auto-Pull-It down the road, calling it abandoned. Didn't find out until 22 days later when I went to check on my truck. If there were less than one star, I would rate them that

Consumer BEWARE!! Never use again. Uses dishonest business practices. Don't stand behind come backs. See post by others in texarkana cheers and jeers. Say they install parts but can't produce the ticket where purchased or the old part (claim thrown away within 2 hrs of repair) HUM, what does that tell you.

Do not use these people I took my transmission to get it rebuilt and it was never right from the start took it back 3 times they say they changed out a solenoid and it's working worse than it ever has I will not go back!!!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission
