So my husband and called Monday and spoke to a Mexican lady and told her what was going on with my truck window nor did she tell him what piece I needed are a price well today I went in to have it fixed and the same Mexican lady . Said well did u order the part and I was like what??? She said yeah they didn't tell you I was like no u think if they would of I would of got it.. she said well I can temporarily fix it..they did that and put a 2'4 in my door for it not fall again but then again charged me 125 this lady was on her cell phone the whole time!! Not very good service at all!

Updated 3/26/2021Thank you Joey Renfro for making it Right. Joey called me, listened and came out to my house to make amends. His worker was early, professional and ready to make it up doing a great job. If this was done on the first try I would have given them a 5 star as it is I will update them to a 4 star from a 1 star. Going forward I hope to believe that his Team will work more positively together with each other to get the job done the best way possible the first time instead of just enough. with Joey as there Leader showing his Team how to be a good Leader and not just a Boss I know they are on the right track. Thank you for the Wow factor today. Please keep this +++ A service and I will be back.3/25/2021My right rear window was broken by a rock flying out from a riding lawnmower. My insurance recommend taking my car here. I originally had box tap over the missing glass so I could see out. they had to order the glass and it was going to be a week I waited and took my car in. Said it would be about an hour leaving my car I left with someone else to do errands. I received a call said it would be a little longer we went and ate. I called after and the window didn't fit they had to reorder the window so I pick up the car. They put the trash bag and yellow tap on. After another week waiting and having to put down half my deductible I take it back. Now the window want stay up and a regulator has to be order. Car stays there 4 days later I get to pick up my car. Window goes up and down but there's glass inside the door panel that did not get vacuum. Tape is still on outside edge of window panel and the rubber seal is indented where they where holding the glass up. I'm told if it doesn't come back out they will replace it. My other half called them and asked if they clean glass out of the door before replacing a window and was told that they clean it all up with no problem. We had to clean the glass up that was in the car and once he said that I had glass in the door still they couldn't say why but they would get it out if I came back.Thank you Joey for contacting me to make this right. Needed a display shelf replaced, they took measurements and got the replacement in 24 hrs, a perfect fit. Service was exceptional. Will get my business again.

If you need a windshield chip repaired go somewhere else. Paid $45 for them to put a few drops of resin in the chip. It still looks exactly the same...spreading actually. Total waste of time and money

I have been doing business with Renfro Glass for many years with no problems. But under the new management or owners they have made a change for the worst. I made an appointment to have the windshield replaced a week in advance and arrived before the scheduled time. Was told it would be ready in one hour. I returned an hour later and found they had not even started. An hour and a half later I was on my way. When I arrived home I noticed there were parts missing, so I called them and ask them to find the parts and save them for me so I can pick them up later. I got to looking a bit closer and found the lower windshield cowling not install improperly and clips missing. Also noticed a four inch scratch on the inside of the windshield. The next day I returned to Renfro Glass to get the missing parts and see if they would fix the problems. They had problems finding the lost parts. I ask the technician to look at the scratch on the glass. The technician tried to clean the scratch with no success. Then said That s too bad and walked off to help another customer. Did not get a chance to mention the cowling. I went inside to talk to the manager and found that she was not there and was informed that she would be back in an hour. Returned in an hour she had not returned. Called the next day and left a message for her to return my call. Never received a return call. The date of the installation was June 27, 2017

Horrible experience. I had to be rescheduled for a windshield replacement 3 times, just for it to not get finished. First time they scheduled me a day and got it mixed up with another, second time they ordered wrong windshield, and third time was a week later, and when I showed up to an appointment THEY scheduled me for, yet somehow they didn t have the windshield . To top it off, when they called and told me they didn t have the windshield they needed the first time, they waited to call and tell me after I had already dropped it off. They never told me when to pick it up, so I called back an hour later just for them to answer none of my calls. I go to pick up my car at around 3 pm on a Friday no one is there! (hours before google says they close) My keys were left unattended for lord knows how long in my car and they didn t even bother to notify me. UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNORGANIZED. don t bother wasting your time.Service: Auto windshield repair

If you want the job done, right I don t advise using this place. They are not trustworthy and they do not complete their jobs that they ve been paid to do. And when you try to talk to him about it, all they do is avoid your calls . $2400 shower door, but you can t take a shower because it floods your floor every time. very poor job even after the fifth time they came out and told your day was going to make sure that the job was done. Now they won t even answer the phones very bad business.Service: General door installation

Chipped my brand new windshield 2 weeks after it was installed.Renfros worked me in the same day to fill the chip.Every other glass place wanted me to wait until the next day and setup an appointment.Renfros saved the day and let me drive up and get it fixed.Whole process was literally 5 minutes.Will be a return customer.

Paid cash to have windshield replaced on GMC Yukon XL......left there, and immediately heard wind noise.....was told that the glue would take time to set and not to be concerned..... after a couple of days, called and stated that something was not right...drove back down there, and was told that " I " personally took the tape off too soon....I guess " I " also left the gel pack out when " I " replaced it, because my rain sensing wipers no longer worked, along with the intermittent wipers.....hired Safelite to replace it again, and discovered that the "technician" that replaced it at Renfro's had no clue what he was doing, because he litterally scraped most of the factory paint off while trying to remove the glue......I will never use this place again, this is several thousand dollars worth of damage. Had a rock chip fixed Wednesday Saturday morning got up to the chip having spread all the way across my windshield. Now having to replace my windshield and was told they would only cover the $45 it cost for the rock chip the new glass is $600. Tried to stay local to get this problem fixed guess I ll have to start driving to lufkin where I know they fix the problem right the first time.

I would like to complement Joey Renfro on how he takes care of his customers. I had new windshield put in my 2019 F250 and there was a small issue that I did not notice until 2 weeks later and he went over and above to fix this problem. Thanks again Joey!!

Not good. No importance given to detail from inside the building. Windows look ugly from inside after they replaced glass

We have only used their inspection services and not glass. The attendant who greeted me and completed my inspection was friendly. Although, the only things that happened were taking my insurance, walked behind the vehicle quickly once, and then paid and left. Nothing else was inspected that is actually on the annual safety inspection requirements.

UPDATE BELOW INITIAL REVIEWSTAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!! Called to have windshield replaced at my husband s job site. Received a voicemail the day they were scheduled to replace windshield asking if we were going to bring the vehicle in. I told them they were supposed to replace the windshield at my husband s job. They then ask if someone could go to his job site and and pick up the truck to take it to the shop to do replacement. Rescheduled for them to come to job site. Didn t hook the wiper fluid sprayer back-up, didn t adjust the wiper blades correctly and put the registration sticker back half way up the windshield. Left dirty towel on dash. I would never use this business again. I should have went with my instinct when I called to schedule the appointment in the first place.UPDATE: The owner called to resolve the issue to our satisfaction, which is greatly appreciated. You could tell he was genuinely concerned and wanted to do whatever it took to resolve the issue and assure we were satisfied. That means a lot!

Stopped by looking at estimates for a new windshield and ending up leaving with a new windshield and state inspection cheaper than any where else I had looked. The staff was very friendly and nice, not pushy like some places. Welcoming and inviting atmosphere. Excellent place for a inspection and any glass work. Definitely will be going back.

Went to Renfros to have car glass replaced. First day waited 3 hours and it was the wrong glass. Second day showed up at 8am for appointment and was told they forgot truck with glass orders didn't get there until 9am or later. Left vehicle came back at 10:30 am car had not been touched. Supposedly the truck came late and other customers were ahead of me. Don't know how when my appointment was at 8am. Now 11am and still waiting on vehicle. Hope it's the right glass today!

We were scheduled to have a windshield replaced yesterday. My husband shows up at 8:15 and they were closed. He ran another errand and I tried calling them for an hour. Finally got someone right after 9 and the girl had no idea we were scheduled and they were closed! The first girl I spoke with by phone earlier in the week was very nice plus saw her in person a day or two later to get an inspection and spoke with her again confirming getting the windshield replaced Sat. I will give her 5 stars for being nice and helpful. However, someone dropped the ball and it wasn't communicated somehow. We might be going with another auto glass budiness.

This is the place to go for a state inspection paper. I've used Renfro's going on 40 years now. Never had but a couple of vehicles flunk the test. But they were minor problems I overlooked. I've bought glass a few times, never heard any complaints from customers over the years. As you know I never give 5 stars because everything and everybody can be improved upon.

I will say this if you go there to have a windshield chip repair, don t expect for it to be visibly, repaired and don t expect for them to stand behind their service because they will not. All they do is wipe glue into the little crack that is there that is it no drilling or anything like I have had done in the past at other places you can still see all the cracks right now like nothing has been done and that s why I asked them if they stand behind their work and they no! I paid $67 for that .

Was nervous to use them because of all these reviews but they did AMAZING. I called on a Saturday and they had the windshield ready for me Monday morning, BRAND NEW. They let me use a vehicle to run errands while I waited, and they were super friendly and FAST. They did an amazing job, my baby looks as good as new. Thank you Renfro Glass!

DO NOT USE!!!VERY INCOMPETENT & UNPROFESSIONAL.......If I could give "MINUS 5" stars I would!After being referred to "Nacogdoches Auto Glass" by my USAA insurance, I went there to find out they had been bought out by Renfro's and were now at the location on North Street across from Auto Zone. So, I went there. There was one young girl on duty at the time and she said "no problem, she could fix it." I trusted her... BIG MISTAKE!!I had a small round rock chip on my brand new pickup (which happened a couple days ago). It was about 1/16th inch in diameter, but had begun to "spider" out slightly because of the heat. USAA wanted me to get it repaired so it wouldn't expand and ruin the windshield.I've had this repair procedure done 7 times before on several other vehicles (at SAFELITE stores in the Dallas area) in the past, and it's takes them about 5 minutes each time, and the results were always perfect; couldn't tell where the original chip was.HOWEVER... Renfro's took nearly 20 minutes and proceeded to RUIN MY WINDSHIELD, as you can see from the pictures! The original chip (which was barely visible) is all "buggered up" and there's now a 14" crack running up and down the windshield. Now the ENTIRE WINDSHIELD will obviously have to be REPLACED!When I saw rhe results and commented on this, the gal (uncaringly & flippantly) said "well, we'll pay *half* the deductible for windshield replacement." I said, "NO you damaged it and you'll pay it all"... and asked to speak to a manager or owner (who wasn't there at the time). I was told that they would call me, but that ain't happened.Obviously, I WON'T be getting my windshield replacent at Renfro's! And by the way, I have a friend who also recently had trouble there too. So sad, but the founder & original owner of Renfro's (who is deceased) would be turning over in their grave at what their business has become.DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!! -INCOMPETENT-UNPROFESSIONAL-UNCARING & FLIPPANT-NOT AT ALL WHAT THEY USED TO BE

I highly recommend Renfro s. These are highly skilled people. They do honest and fair work. I was in a bind and Stacy was able to work with me to find a solution to fix my car window. Would recommend to anyone. Best price in town!

Beware of Renfro Glass.They change prices as per customers and donot have fixed prices for each job. Told us $400 and was charging $500 + tax.Also be careful when u leave valuables in your car when you give to them for repairs.

Windshield got a rock chip going through town on our way to Houston. We called two other shops listed on Google, but Renfro's was the only one that could get us in immediately. Friendly, excellent service, windshield fixed perfectly in 10 minutes & for a lot less than we thought we'd pay!!!

They can do good work and owners wife Stacie try s to make customers happy anyway she can. They installed a front and back window in a 90s model Chevy truck. I had a issue with the install and they fixed it in a timely matter. Overall job was good

Friendly staff, good prices and even say they'll match. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because there were parts and work related trash/debris left behind in my truck (had my front windshield replaced ). Overall good job and and experience, would use again.

Replaced glass in car. Once tech was done, she informed my daughter she needed a $300 dollar part for window. Window was working fine before tech changed window. Called three times before I ever got to speak to anyone about situation and was never able to speak to tech who changed glas s. Finally spoke to owner and she said that the part was broke when window was broke even though window was working after it was broke. She was supposed to get back with me concerning part. Never heard from her. I would definitely not recommend using this place!
