They did a decent job on the machine work, they don't do much cleaning, not vatted like I thought. Inside my intake was black as ever. Paid 60 for cleaning, and they cleaned surfaces that don't involve anything, just exterior surfaces, who cares if they are pristine? So next time I will have the parts cleaned myself and only pay them to do the machine work. No gasket prep, no cleaning. I did most of it myself anyway. Why waste time and a roloc on the outside of a timing cover? If you want it pretty bead blast it.

I saw reviews about AES & was a little nervous about taking my 22re head to them to have the head resurfaced. I brought the head to AES & Mike took the time to check the head for warppage right then & told me the head was fine & didn't need resurfacing. All I can say is if Mike wanted to he could have waited & charged me the 50$ for resurfacing the head but he didn't do that. Thank you Mike for being honest I appreciate it & wanted to let people know of the good experience I had with AES.THANKS AGAIN! Sean Mitchell

Pinkstons automotive is the only place i will bring any of my engine work. Mike is a great guy who helped me every step of the way with machine work on my Continental F163 4 cyl. I was out of state for 3 months and he always kept me updated with any changes that needed to be made. I told him what i wanted done and left it with him and once completed picked it up. All the surfaces and dimensions were spot on. 5/5 Recommend to anyone looking for good machine work.

I took my 305 crank in to have a ground when I got there he said the thrust was bad He said He would find me another crank In grinded down 20 20 After 4 weeks and finally done I had my nephew gone pick it up because I didn't have a car Want to go to the house I inspected the crank and the thrust has 6 smalle cracks hwin going halfway down And it looks like it was built up before I called other machine shops and they say the cracks when they heat up they will giveaway or eat up my bearingsthis machine shop said they'll be fine and the never had a problem with the cracks "so who do you believe this guy or the other machine shops.
